Our Black Utopia is a safe space for PROGRESSIVE and WELL-MEANING Black Expats, aspiring Expats, and Black folks on the FIRE journey. This is not a space to debate the merits of maga or why one should stay where they don't want to stay. If you want to engage in that type of discussion do so somewhere else. Although I have 6 figures in personal savings and we both have stable and monthly income, I feel like those 2 factors alone make me feel like we have major setbacks. I am definitely going to watch the entire video. I think we might need to try the 90 days Visa route first 🤔🤷🏽

I’m a white woman and you were on my feed today. I am glad you are providing a platform for black Americans. We are in scary times. As an intuitive practitioner, I felt the night of the election that the results were shifted. I saw Musk, satellites and algorithms changing numbers. I also saw Russia and even China played a small part. Kamala was the true winner of this election. I’m sick about what is happening. Fascists have cheated their way to power and it is just like Germany with Hitler.
I was thinking of Portugal for my daughter and I. Looking into other countries. I see Hell coming to the States. I won’t live in a country where my daughter can be raped, forced to carry a child to term, and then allowed to die if there are complications. Amongst a host of other issues. Scary times.
I just wanted to let you know that I think you guys are great for helping people. Blacks have suffered way too long under white rule. I’m so sorry!

Learning Spanish right now. Even though I am 83, I have had enough in this country. I just need to know how to move my money, Africa is the richest continent on earth and China and other countries are establishing businesses there in numerous countries on the continent. Africa can use our black genius. Exploring countries there also. If our ancestors could build America with slave labor for free, we can build somewhere else and be free. We don't need America, they need us.

Dorothy - I would leave my money in the US until he starts hinting at dismantling the FDIC. You can transfer as you need it - we look at the exchange rate and when it looks good - we transfer 2-5 months worth of expenses. Mexico is the softest landing with a HUGE Black community. Lake Chapala, great retirement community of older Americans (lots of palm-colored people though). Mérida is great for Black Americans but it's hot and humid - some folks love that. Querétaro and San Miguel de Allende both have a thriving Black community - Querétaro is VERY affordable.

Get the Ready to Retire Toolkit-the link is in the description below and it’s free. Thoroughly assess your spending-go back 3 months to see where every penny is going. List your expenses and next to each you will keep it, replace it with something cheaper or eliminate it. We canceled a bunch of subscriptions and cable TV, we got a cheaper cell service, etc. we had potlucks with friends instead of going out. You get the point. The key is to lower expenses as much as possible. Then you need to increase income. Ask for a raise, sell those designer shoes and bags, get a 2nd job for a couple of months. Then consider Mexico, it’s easy much less expensive and there’s a large Black community in many cities.

America needs to be honest with itself, the founding fathers never envisioned a diverse nation where people lived in racial harmony. They just wanted to get away from England and its Monarchy rules, they wanted a Europe in America minus a King's foot on their necks. If you dont believe me got to the naturilization act of 1790 by the first U.S. President and first U.S. Congress and look at the only people allowed to become U.S. Citizens.
This stayed law until the 14th ammendment in 1868, an admendment Trump has vowed to get rid of when he takes office. The goal has always been a homegenous country of Europeans.
Even Abraham Lincoln said in 1862 to free people of African descent, when slavery is over European Americans will never see you as equals, and he even said that all people of African descent should leave America for their own good and those of his own race.
Lincoln said to those who did not want to leave, that even the people on his side would not want them to stay if their whole popu;ation was free! They dont teach this in school but Lincoln writings are availble for all to see. It gave me a more pessimitic view of things because we have been living a lie so long!

    • @adinas6516
      @adinas6516 Месяц назад +4

@OntheWingsofDoves - Also, most of the people in authority were 2nd, 3rd and 4th sons of English aristocrats who would not inherit anything from their fathers, so they had to make their fortunes somewhere else. That's how Southern Gentry came about in the Southern States of the USA.

    • @MaryKetchum-y3s

But please remember that there were wagon trains in droves moving through the hard winter to the north to fight against slavery. White people. Who lost babies to the cold and still believed in the importance of moving forward. All along there have been warriors on both sides standing together. Fighting for what's right. Don't turn us out now. I mean go, for sure, but we're with you in prayer and spirit. And I also feel that the vote should have been closer.

    • @OntheWingsofDoves
      @OntheWingsofDoves Месяц назад +6

Now its time for the truth, the majority of those people could care less about my people, I do give great credit to abolishinist, but they were few and far betweeen. I come to the painful reality that neither side really cared about my people, Lincoln was more concerned with what slavery was doing to European Americans and saving the Union:
"The aspiration of men is to enjoy equality with the best when free, but on this broad continent, not a single man of your race is made the equal of a single man of ours. Go where you are treated the best, and the ban is still upon you.
I do not propose to discuss this, but to present it as a fact with which we have to deal. I cannot alter it if I would. It is a fact, about which we all think and feel alike, I and you. We look to our condition, owing to the existence of the two races on this continent. I need not recount to you the effects upon [whyte] men, growing out of the institution of Slavery. I believe in its general evil effects on the [whyte] race. See our present condition---the country engaged in war!---our [whyte] men cutting one another's throats, none knowing how far it will extend; and then consider what we know to be the truth. But for your race among us there could not be war, 👉🏿although many men engaged on either side do not care for you one way or the other.👈🏿Nevertheless, I repeat, without the institution of Slavery and the colored race as a basis, the war could not have an existence." (Abraham Lincoln, August 14, 1862) Colonization-The Collected Works of Abraham Lincoln Vol 5

As a Mexican-American, I don’t feel safe in this country and worry for our safety. Even though I am a citizen, I will probably never be American enough for them.
I am working on getting passports this month and maybe slow travel until we find a place that we can call home. My 20 and 16 year old sons would be coming with me. I am tutoring English online but trying to figure out how to grow my business and income to where we can survive and live comfortably in another country.

      Take Heart!
      African Americans, and other
descendants of the Trans Atlantic/Indian Ocean Slave Holocaust (the so called "Negroes") are actually descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel.
For their disobedience, they were/are to be enslaved and oppressed for 400 years in countries not theirs...in land unfamiliar to their ancestors.
Afterwards YAH/God will return them to their homeland:
      Genesis Chapter 15, Verses 13-16
All of Israel ( The Promised Land) is the "Negroes" homeland.
That small sliver of occupied land, currently called "Israel", is Not the totality of "Melanated/Israel's homeland.
The biblical land of Israel probably encompasses a large portion of Africa and the so-called "Middle East".
The official arrival date of enslaved people on American soil is 1619.
The Gregorian Calendar is a few years ahead of the biblical calendar/timing.
According to the Ethiopian Calendar (which is more biblically accurate) there are approximately 5 to 6 more years left until the 400 year freedom promise is complete.
Deuteronomy Chapter 28, Verses 15-68 and
Leviticus Chapter 26, Verses 14-39 identifies who the REAL Israelites are; by identifying the conditions of their abuse.
No other people-group have received this collective treatment...except the "Negro".
Somehow YAH/God will ensure our safe return to our homeland.
In the meantime, we should Pray/Communicate with Him, and Follow His Commandments...being the people He originally intended us to be.
My current travels are in South and East Africa... exploring what could possibly be my home.
I haven't ventured yet into the
      so-called "Middle East".
      Shalom (Peace)
      Blessings

I've been in New Mexico for 17 years - born/raised and originally from Southern California. I was one of five hundred people that was laid off in October - It really was an answer to my prayers and is just a matter of getting used to not having to be stuck at a desk after ten years of working for a bank. They're offering a 'generous' severance package for us to just walk away. So, I'm excited, scared and ready to take the leap. My heart is being drawn to Portugal, but I can go just about anywhere at this point. I'm so happy to have found your video on RUclips. I love your energy - you both feel like family to me. I started selling stuff but then started double guessing myself and was just going to move up to the mountains (Taos, NM). I've always thought for years, why people would still live in the South. After this election, I started asking why are Black People staying in the United States? I've never felt unsafe in the U.S. until now, and while nothing has really changed for me - I don't want to "wait and see". I'm also, trying not to be a drama queen or paranoid - I don't think I can stand another four years of the Trump show and don't want to live with my head on a swivel. I'm a young 60 years of age, have no kids but I am a pet parent (which is a major concern I have regarding the logistics of relocating with her). I haven't found an airline that offered flights to accommodate emotional support animals - I've even inquired about the cost to charter a private plane - I want out....lol - I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to scheduling a one on one. What I've heard thus far has been very helpful - Thank you both.

I live in a military where rental properties are always in need. Therefore, renting my home would be more than enough for monthly expenses allowing us to save and not need to depend on our income which also includes military retirement, as well as ss.

IDK what "too old" is. But an easy safe bet for Americans and a place that has a HUGE Black American population is...Mexico. Think about it - they have great health care, the Mexican people are lovely and accepting, the food is the BOMB, it's inexpensive, and it's an easy VISA process.

I also did a “remote year” as a digital nomad in 2023 and traveled to 10 countries. Now, I host trips for our brothers & sisters to visit Ghana before relocating. What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead....Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.
