I believe that going back in time we would find that the Mintaka star was perfectly aligned with the others as we see the three Pyramids today, giving us the exact construction date.

Why is it that we look at the offset of the three pyramids as the smallest one being off? If you draw a diagonal (his word) between the small one and the big one next to it, it is the third large pyramid that is offset...when you look at the belt of Orion, just because there is a smaller star in the trio, we assume that it is the one that's offset, while it may well hold that the big one at the end is offset from the diagonal of the other two.

A circle is drawn from the base of the pyramid and went over the two corners of the square to get a specific result. Why all four corners were not included. Why circle can’t be under the top line of the square. Why circle is not in the square. He divided the circle by six to get a specific result. Why not by 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 or any other number. I've been interested in the mathematics of the pyramid for many years.... Isn't the base times by a specific number, the same number as the circumference of the earth?.... Also I believe the height times by a specific number is exactly half the height of our planet too?.... I really don't get the people that point to a 12k+ year old site and say "see they began everything!". At best all GT (or Karahan Tepe) represents is the earliest yet discovered evidence for building megalith monuments in some kind of ordered fashion. Even at its height Egypt's power (which was pretty immense) did not even spread as far as GT, so I highly doubt that a far older and more basic civilization would have had a superior power, and if this so called hyper destructive Younger Dryas event occurred then the likelihood of its survivors being anything more than random individuals not guaranteed to have any significant knowledge is pretty damn low. It's a classic strategy. When the facts of the case are against you attack the person. Now, it has never been done successfully as far as I know, yet the end goal I believe is to discredit the person then the facts become false and your lack of facts becomes truth. Why is it that we look at the offset of the three pyramids as the smallest one being off? If you draw a diagonal (his word) between the small one and the big one next to it, it is the third large pyramid that is offset...when you look at the belt of Orion, just because there is a smaller star in the trio, we assume that it is the one that's offset, while it may well hold that the big one at the end is offset from the diagonal of the other two.

I really don't get the people that point to a 12k+ year old site and say "see they began everything!".
At best all GT (or Karahan Tepe) represents is the earliest yet discovered evidence for building megalith monuments in some kind of ordered fashion.
Even at its height Egypt's power (which was pretty immense) did not even spread as far as GT, so I highly doubt that a far older and more basic civilization would have had a superior power, and if this so called hyper destructive Younger Dryas event occurred then the likelihood of its survivors being anything more than random individuals not guaranteed to have any significant knowledge is pretty damn low.

Is it just me, or does it seem wrong that guys like Zahi Halfass look down on Robert Bauval? A good engineer is far more useful to humanity than any egyptologist.
