    I am glad you touched on the money aspect. I know someone who bought a gorgeous Rolls Royce. A few months later the pandemic hit surgeries weren’t done & the surgeon was struggling to pay the overhead. The Rolls Royce found a new owner.

    I love your videos Dr. Webb. They motivate me. Quick question, is it possible to have a 40-50 hour work week once you're an attending? how many hours a week are you currently working?

    How much has your RUclips income supplemented your income as a physician? Have you made enough via RUclips to live comfortably while you pay off your loans?

    In "knocking on doctor's doors" I imagine it is important to get to know their patient's histories in order to help them decide what would benefit their patients after primary care has been exhausted; e.g. surgery, therapy, etc.

    Dr Webb can you make a video discussing the evidence regarding disc degeneration and weight loading/manual labor. I shadowed a spine surgeon for 4 weeks who said disc degeneration, hernias etc. are purely genetic/age-related and that its a huge misconception that lifting heavy weights or bending spine when picking up something increases the rate of degeneration. But it seems that everyone seems to think bending spine when lifting, or loading too much weight, doing manual labor etc. all damages your spine.

    hello dude The question always is: Why should I go to you for help instead of someone else?
    Lots of self employed people have this problem to overcome: Why should I use your bakery/ clothing store/ plumbing services/ electrician services/ handyman home repair service/ pastry shop etc instead of the other guy's services?

    interesting discussion around saving and debt… i think many people don't think higher income people need to worry about money, some of that is true, but definitely people of all incomes can get into trouble living beyond their means

    Hey Dr. Webb! I was wondering if you could do a vid on how to set up a CV for applying to residency's or if you know a good place to look it up? I've seen alot of info out there but not much is med school specific and putting it all together has been tough. Thanks for all the great content and keep killin it!

    Could you try and film a day in the life of a mohs surgeon? That’d be amazing! 🙏🏽

    • @dougsiskin1070
      @dougsiskin1070 3 года назад

      Maybe my case was an outlier. I was on blood thinners due to cardiac issues when I had mohs surgery on my ear and nose. The surgeon, a dermatologist, didn't respond to my email regarding stopping my blood thinner meds until the day before surgery. Not surprising, I had to go to emergency department to control the bleeding. Based on their recommendation, I finished my treatment with head and neck surgery department.
