I know people already calling it overpriced but honestly I would’ve gladly paid $20 more if it meant a sandman build and big-fig lizard

Spiderman No Way Home set is pretty good. Like the Green Goblin, Electro, Doctor Octopus, Toby and Andrew Spiderman minifigures.

I would have paid $250-300 if it included a Sandman build, a Sandman Minifig, The Lizard BigFig, and the full Statue of Liberty with the scaffolding and shield, I can't believe they made a $600 Razor Crest set, but skimped out on this one.
Bar from the fact they used the wrong torsos for Ned and Doctor strange, this set is literal perfection.
Great set with a lot of Spider-Man figures and a pretty great price. Can't wait.
You know for $110 it’s actually not that bad. Especially with all the figures and a very solid build.
Love it. Only 2 problems. No lizard which is really a shame because hes the only no way home character that had yet to be turned into a figure which i actually wanted more than any of thenother figs in this. And the goblin figure is REALLY underwhelming and kinda lazy looking aside from that awesome face print

I was expecting you of all people to really hate the lack of arm printing for the two Spideys. Glad to see how positive you are about this incredible set.
They really did do a good job keeping leaks on this set under wraps. Best part for me is all the builds of the figures that are similar to how they were built back in 2002 and 2004 respectively. The design of both the Doc Ock arms and Goblin glider are almost identical to the original designs.

I think the generator thing is sandman's cure which would explain why there's only a bit of sand in the set
I love this set! It looks so amazing. I’m so glad that after so long we are finally getting this. The build of the head with the scaffolding looks really great and I really like all the detail they were able to put into this. But it does have one major problem, the minifigures are not all the best. I think that the three Spider-Men look amazing. I’m so happy that we are finally getting minifigures for Tobey and Andrew’s Spider-Men, but it would be nice if they got some arm or leg printing. Eloectro looks amazing too, but it would have been better if he had dual molded arms and a different hair piece. And I know this is more of a minor thing but the Dr. Strange minifigure is from the wrong movie. Ned and MJ’s clothes are both colored wrong. Ned clearly wore a BLUE jacket with yellow sleeves throughout basically the whole movie, so I don’t know why they made it red. And MJ wore a maroon like colored sweater with white stripes so it’s kind of weird that they chose a tan colored one with green and yellow stripes. And Doc Ock clearly wears a GREEN trench coat throughout the entire movie, so I don’t know why they thought it would be a good idea to make it grey. Also that hair piece does not fit him whatsoever. Honestly Doc Ock, MJ and Ned wouldn’t have annoyed me as much if this had come out a few months after the movie. But it’s been about 2 years, they have had plenty of time and reference to get those figures right. Green Goblin looks like he came out of a 4+ set due to the lack of arm and leg printing. But the face he comes with is incredible, it looks just like Willem Dafoe. And it kind of sucks that there are no minifigures for Sandman or Lizard. Again, this is a fantastic set, the builds, the details and the number of minifigures included all make it worth the wait and price. And I’m grateful that we are even getting this set at all, 2 years ago it was hopefully thinking that we would get a set half this good. But, for a set we’ve been waiting 2 years for, and for a price of over one hundred dollars, I just kind of feel like they could have stepped it up a little when it came to the decision making about the minifigures.
Only a year and a half late. Not bad by their standards, I guess.

For some reason I’m not feeling this one. The lack of leg printing is a bit frustrating, and I feel like there are so many FireStar figures that outdo these.
The build is amazing tho. Probably gonna pick it up for a neat display and the Electro energy pieces are just amazing.

Of course a custom company is gonna do better when they do limited production but you're paying more for a Fire Star figure than you do a Lego set.
@@Rebelrose and that's where the division comes in, I recommend lego more tho for the sake of getting more figures for a cheaper deal rather than getting Firestarter toys version
@@Chemafur Exactly. That's why I hate people saying customs are better. Like yeah, but which one gives you more value?
@@Rebelrose and the thing to also mention is that Firestarter minfigures are so darn expensive but they aren't even in custom lego sets just that figure and that's it. I agree with you

I think sandman's exclusion might be due to how his design in the movies really isn't that far off from what we already have in other sets. Green shirt and sandy body. So he may have just been cut because they want to keep the MCU and comic varients seperate.
On the other hand, I think lizard was just cut for cost reasons. But these are all just theories. The set looks incredible.
The thing is, Sandman was just a sand person and they have an almost perfect figure from 2019 for him
The overall base of this set is great and the 3 spider men Minifigs and electro are great however i wish they put more detail in goblin and i wish doc ock mj and ned were more accurate looking

I don't buy LEGO Marvel sets mainly because of the issues of LEGO almost always using outdated concept art, but I'll make an exception for this set solely for the three Spider-Men.
Love how the box art has Tom as Spider-Man man, Tobey as friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and Andrew as Amazing Spider-Man

I'd rather buy the minifigs off of fire star toys and then buy a moc off brinklink or rebrickable. Sure it may cost more but quality over quantity

This is definitely a day one purchase for me as my birthday is in August so I'm very excited for this set and can't wait to build this on my 21st birthday

My theory as to why this set is so much cheaper than you’d expect is because of how much design carryover there is from the Lego Movie 2 Apocalypseburg set.
I’m so excited for this set and I’ll definitely get it but I am bummed that there’s no sandman build or minifig (that isn’t just a couple hands) and no lizard big fig
When the set comes out I’m going to put the OG green goblin legs on the new figure
But my persona favorite is Dr. Octavius.

I really don't see the hate some people are giving this set. 110 USD for 900 pcs and 9 figures is a great deal. The only downsides with the figures are the spiderman's and green goblin's lack of arm printing but u know for a fact some company is gonna make custom ones u can put on those figs if it bothers u that much. Fs a day 1 buy for me.

They recycled the apocalypseburg liberty head but it makes sense, why make a new design when the other one still holds up
The set is not that perfect but I think its still one of the best just by the minifigures

The set is good and I'll get it but I think no way home wasn't that good of a movie it was obvious nostalgia bait and the story didnt work too much me personally and I still dont like Andrew Garfield or toby Maguire spidermans or their films but this makes an amazing display piece

this feels so damn half-assed, sandman is a tiny ass hand on the side, green goblin doesn't have a hood or arm printing or leg printing, lizard is not included, doctor strange is in the wrong suit, doc ock's coat is grey, ned's jacket is inaccurate, just terrible.
Would you rather the set be $30-$40 more expensive and have all those things? The set is more affordable this way. $100 for this is a killer deal.

Nope they added dual molded legs for all spiderman and delivered an impressive build. The lazy sets are the nwh sets from 2021
@@Chemafurwe waited a year and a half for this set and the best that Lego could do in all that period of time was giving the minifigures the least amount of deco and two of them are inaccurate so to me that's still a pretty lazy move from Lego
Spider-Man's Hybrid Suit still doesn't have arm printings, Green Goblin is disappointing due to both no arm and leg paintings and no good price, and there is no Lizard and Sandman there.
Both Tobey Maguire's and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man are still great minifigures, but a bit disappointed there are no arm printings on both of them.

Oh my god green goblin is awesome. So fucking lazy what on earth… wildstyles cmf lm2 hood piece was right there… and no leg printing or arm printing is ROUGHHHH. That figure alone really turned me off the set. Also why does Electro have straight up incorrect skin tone wtf… no lizard and sandman is a huge bummer. That’s honestly all I wanted. Bummer. Oh well
This set is lame. I still prefer the Daily Bugle, at least most of the minifigures were comics accurate. I don't want awful Ganke Lee, impostor Zendaya, and Black Electro anywhere in my collection.
pfftt..the knockoffs have done much better designs for all these characters, did it way sooner, and at waay better price.
