Thanks for the new video. I really like the descriptiveness of these blocks. I have to fight a fellow student at my middle school and it is one of those situations where if you don’t show up, you lose all of your respect. I just wanted to say thanks.

    Cool tips.
    Defense against flying kicks deserves
a series of videos, you see guys flying
across the ring, and knocking pros out
quite often, as well as short little double
kicks, jumping with lead right for example
but the actual kick turns out to be left foot,
knee, or a left hook , or elbow etc.
In real time, you don't know for sure whether
you have a flying knee, elbow, roundhouse
etc, coming to you half the time,
or even if it's going to be 'flying' and not
    just a roundhouse.
I'm sure we can all say; 'keep your guard
up' etc, but again, the knockouts keep coming,
and why I think this issue deserves a series
    of videos, a long series.
    Real-time including examples of these
    techniques working in actual bouts.

Great question, John! The superman is more or a straight punch, so you can defend it the same way (slip to the outside, parry, block), or you can use the teep for this one too!

Awesome video again Shane, thank you for sharing. I hate to get off topic here, but I'm a huge fan of fight tips and you know a fuckload about fighting (I'm a philly guy so I'm biased lol). For your next video where you invite people to train in your garage, you should invite Furious Pete. This buul is calling out everyone and their mother to fight him, but he can't even throw a fuckin jab! If anyone need a badass martial artist's know how from the 215, it's that muhfucka. Anyway, thanks for the video my fellow Philly brotha. Peace ✌️

    hi...
sir iam a right hander person... i was just at the beginning stage i n the boxing...with full passion...
but due to bike accident , unfortunately my knuckle of right hand got totally broken...almost finish forever..its medical operation done... now i can lift weight and can do daily works of life with my right hand
but i can never do a single punch hit with my right hand...even on the soft pillow..
though the doctors has recovered it...but its became too delicate...
but my passion of fight is not broken... like a good sportsmenship , i still want to practice... but as i cannot do punch with my right hand...being a right hander...so i am trying to do aikido where knuckles are not so much required like boxing...
    hope you realised my query...
you are so expert... so kindly suggest me what will be the correct direction for me...
    thanks for your tutorials...

Shane, I fell out with a mate and were against eachother and we had beef, one day at lunch one of his mates told me that he wants me. Me and my mates were following him and he was leading us to the back of the field. He said just me nobody else. My mates stayed and I went. I saw my old mate with all his mates at the back of the field. I got to the back of the feild and I asked him what he wants I was trying to play footy with my mates. He wanted to fight me. So I said ok and headbutted him in the nose right after I said "ok" all my mates and half the school saw and ran over and started recording. I think that put him off and put pressure on him. So he tried to act "cool?" Or hard?? And he landed a flying knee to my chin and I nearly bit my tongue. I got angry and jabbed him to the nose then hook to the ribs then an uppercut to his chin. He fell to the floor and his mouth was bleeding. I kicked him in the ribs when he was on the floor and told him to piss off and if he ever wants to fight me again Il get him jumped.

Mattrix what I did was just got punched. A learned best through the real thing. I learned the techniques for blocking, countering, and evading, then I just had someone throw punches at me. It hurt, it was definitely hard, but I learned best by that. Eventually you’ll start getting the techniques down. I guess sometimes pain really does help.
