Scene kid trying very hard to bring the DIY spirit to my subculture here, tysm for the tutorial!! Totally doing this with a pair of cheetah print pants I found last year that I've been meaning to do some work on. Tripp bondage pants are absolutely not worth the 100s I see people spend on them lol

      Good question
I live in an "open carry" state in the US, most people stay strapped up with guns for protection here completely legal. I also carry a fixed blade knife but that is for a utility reason and not really self defense. There is no advantage to making a make shift shiv here because knives are available to purchase at every gas station/corner store and guns are easily accessible to purchase. So I have never had the need to physically make my own weapons, sorry.
As a teen we would tie a heavy padlock to a bandana and use it as a weapon but as an adult I can literally buy and open carry a firearm legally so I havnt done that in like 17 years. Maybe check out some "prison shank" tutorials

0:40 I think my fav premade alt fashion stuff I’ve seen are gonna be the ones where like some random person I follow online somewhere for some other reason just like
Takes commissions for custom jackets and like upcycles a shit ton of clothes they have
Like that sort of thing, I follow a couple people like that, one with a fashion company that only recently started doing ready wear but they upcycle clothes too
There’s this one person on TikTok who does this I always think of and I can’t remember their handle 😭 but basically they make stencils and stuff and just like
Go dumpster diving or thrift shopping or asking around for old clothes and then takes commissions for upcycling where they’ll put whatever variation you want of their stencil on, they’ll add like stim toy features or like holes/pockets for medical needs, and it’s mostly cuz they just… like doing it tbh and the commissions is mostly so they can just keep upping on supplies
For like big companies like idk it depends how I feel
Some stuff is super cool and I love it and some stuff is like… I can’t justify the price or it’s something I can do myself or it just looks like awful quality or it’s a very very shit company (or all the above in some cases)

Honestly I just wear mine for a week or so and they break in. So I can't remember on which Reptil vidéo I asked this but I was wondering about the liquid medium they sell in arts and crafts store that is supposed to be added to acrylic paint and it basically makes it a fabric plaint. Well it's shit, it works on very pale fabrics only, and I sorry but I'm too goth to wear pale fabrics 😅. It dilutes the shade it's not vibrant enough even on white (I want black bats not vaguely grey bats !) not very interesting and when it dries/gets sealed by heat the médium acts like the "sealant" so it's waterproof so it's very thick, on a shirt it can be inconfortable like when you sit down the design on the shirt makes a bustier armor (very Croisades). So avoid the add-on médium to turn basic acrylic paint into fabric paint and stick to paint made for fabric. I imagine it's unusable for serigraphy no way it goes through the screen. But perhaps for plastic fake leather (or even vegan fruit skin leather) or plain leather. (That's one whole novel just to tell that a médium is shit sorry 😅)
