Pens down guys David is great at what he does. The level of respect he shows to all his guests🙌🏽. How he engages them and his skill to get to the burning questions without making them uncomfortable 🔥 GOAT
I cannot imagine the pain the emptiness the wife felt in all that time 😢 also for him to act for that long it's sad. Hope the wife finds healing as for the child I'm sure she also as damaged by this change
I like how you make everyone free to open up. This episode is sad for both Sbu and his wife, let alone the child. I appreciate how he is able to be naked and show vulnerability. I can't wait for you to feature Jet Novuka.
Thank God for judging what u don’t feel n don’t understand I don’t judge because I’m not God what ever God made we I not to judge I always says the most sins we hv is to judge
The level of openness to learn and the respect David has for a topic he doesn't understand. He's a great interviewer. Some questions, he'd touch on as i was thinking them. Its the the grace he approaches the interview with. He's truly living in his purpose.
King David mamela you are on the right track these are conversations we ought to have. Dr. Sibusiso is an amazing individual; to those who wants to come out please do and be. Come out and let the world know make your mark muntu♥️.
But the jargon is isolated from reasoning for his sexuality. Is it the language that impresses you? Because insofar as the thesis for defending or quantifying his stance on sexual preference, he has not made any academically sound arguments.
Him dressing more like a girl and sometimes like a man at work reminds me of RuPaul. He has a closet full of feminine clothes and another full of masculine clothes. RuPaul says we're all in drag. No one was born wearing a male or female clothes. Tjoe! I learnt something new about LGBTQI. Thanks Sbu and BraDave for this beautiful interview.
Yho! I am only discovering this interview today 2024/07 and I feel so happy. I appreciate his story and telling it the way he wants. Dr Magagula, thank you for your time. And allowing us into your life story. I adore him...I appreciate his honesty, academic intellectual being. ❤❤❤ He's enlightened me about drag and what you recognise as. I now fully understand what you go through as a 'queer' person. Ngiyakuthanda NomaG❤😊 onward and upwards wena man! 😊 Thank you, King David. You are great at what you do. ❤😊 I thoroughly appreciated this interview.
My heart goes out to his wife💔. Hope she heals from this marriage and finds peace. Dr Magagula, thank you for sharing your story. You are an amazing human being with a phenomenal personality.
Such an intriguing and very fascinating story, wishing Dr Sbusiso all the best and we're praying for healing for all involved.David is definitely becoming one of the best interviewers in SA.Well done to both of them.
30:19 when David asked if he was giving out signs that said “I’m open for business” and Sibusiso trying to think his feminine dancing might have been the reason made my heart stop a little😞😞…. I’m so relieved that later in your conversation this point was rectified because there is never a reason enough to violate another human being.. very intelligent conversation overall🙏🏾💫.
Love love Dr Sbu,his story is fascinating.and I like how when David is talking or asking a question, he would patiently wait for him to finish before answering
It's true that everybody has a story to tell. And King David you have a very enthusiastic mind which makes your podcasts interesting and amazing. Loved it so much.
Very interesting conversation. Good to hear things from another perspective. I hope issue with child is soon fixed. I hope the wife finds healing and doesn't blame herself too much
And I should add, you look flawless. I understand where the insecurities came from but rest a sure, you're beautiful and natural. Very natural. I wish I could get a tutorial on how you made that natural look make-up. I need those lessons🙂
This is some confusing world of human sexuality, well elucidated by this interview. Well done! Left me with a lump in my throat. This “mix up” sucks!🤷🏽♀️
We're in the end times. A time when too much has become just too much for humans. 😂😂😂😂 Hayi Jah neh. I just feel really sorry and bad for the coming generations. They have no idea what order and discipline is.
@@kamvasitotomani593you have a point, however I really thought that we were past this in society, maybe it depends which town and place you are in, but I really believed that people now are more accommodating than twenty years ago, so one would think that the environment is there but the “closet” people themselves are maybe judging themselves too much? Angazi 😊
I can't think of anything that would break a woman than being with a man that doesn't want you intimately. I hope his ex-wife heals. I am also glad that he is living his truth now.
Thank u for clarity doctor, personally I'm saddened by the fact that somebody feels anxious bcoz they don't know what will come their way each and every day ,is it not similar to racist environments, gang infested environments, hooligans infested environments?these fall under one category , evil treatment of humans towards other humans ,every human deserves to feel safe and free to be themselves
Imagine the world where we all have same sex relationships, we won't have people anymore, no creation. Animals do not do such, but what kind of animals are we?
What this shows is that humanity is very complex we have no idea...I have come to accept that the human spectrum is like a rainbow...all colors and shades. Nature itself is mind boggling... unfortunately, human ignorance to such things is our greatest danger
Thank you Mr David for this, what sbu is going through now as a free man I went through it when i was 10 years of age. I'm strong because of my gay experience 😂😂😂 i love being me🥰🥰🥰🥰😍
Yho! NomaG, this is so eye-opening. The manner in which you unpack the not-so-easy-to-address-topic, is a true example of creating and sharing a body of knowledge in an accessible way. I wish all researchers and knowledge creators were as approachable, open to self-critique and as child at heart as you are, instead of taking themselves too seriously. So their work is as accessible and able to make the difference that research should make in societies. Research should not lie and "collect dust" in commons, libraries or even online. Accessibility is king and ensuring findings and recommendations are user-friendly, should be every researcher's intentions. I really like your idea of the RUclips Channel that does just that. Action research or ethnography? Participatory Visual Methodologies? You being a Statistician, it would be interesting to watch and learn. I hope I don't forget to be on the lookout for your channel in July. The literature review that will help you to "stand on the shoulders of the giants" hahahaaa!! More like, ... not my handwriting;-). That made me laugh. Thanks King David for your bravery and asking a question I've always wondered but dreaded to ask: "Why the need to exaggerate?" The example Dr Magagula used is profound! It made me think of being black in the world of the white and privileged; we always have to show that we can do this and be better at it! Great conversation indeed!

I always say this. His too good and orchestrate it with utmost respect
Tooo good maan💯

He is too good ❤
You can say that again, his questions show how intelligent he is.
The most self aware person I've witnessed. Knows all his flaws and where their bred from.
I cannot imagine the pain the emptiness the wife felt in all that time 😢 also for him to act for that long it's sad. Hope the wife finds healing as for the child I'm sure she also as damaged by this change
I would not worry my self if I was the wife I would be happy God says give thanks for everything

Jet Novuka😊😊😊 that would be a bomb
That's his gold! I truly liked that too.
When he said: "it's nice to be us😜 kumnandi shem" damn! I love this dude
This guy is so interesting!!! He makes academia so cool! 😍
I never thought I'd sit through a 2hr interview. I felt nothing but love for him and his wife. I've learnt never to reject what I don't understand.
3 hrs babe
Thank God for judging what u don’t feel n don’t understand I don’t judge because I’m not God what ever God made we I not to judge I always says the most sins we hv is to judge
So he knew he wasn't into women from a young age and he still dragged the poor woman through marriage.... wow !! I hope she heals.
He is also a victim of an unaccepting that made him to run away from who he really is.
