Him dressing more like a girl and sometimes like a man at work reminds me of RuPaul. He has a closet full of feminine clothes and another full of masculine clothes. RuPaul says we're all in drag. Yho! NomaG, this is so eye-opening. The manner in which you unpack the not-so-easy-to-address-topic, is a true example of creating and sharing a body of knowledge in an accessible way. I wish all researchers and knowledge creators were as approachable, open to self-critique and as child at heart as you are, instead of taking themselves too seriously. So their work is as accessible and able to make the difference that research should make in societies. Research should not lie and "collect dust" in commons, libraries or even online. Accessibility is king and ensuring findings and recommendations are user-friendly, should be every researcher's intentions. I really like your idea of the RUclips Channel that does just that. Action research or ethnography? Participatory Visual Methodologies? You being a Statistician, it would be interesting to watch and learn. I hope I don't forget to be on the lookout for your channel in July.
The literature review that will help you to "stand on the shoulders of the giants" hahahaaa!! More like, ... not my handwriting;-). That made me laugh. Thanks King David for your bravery and asking a question I've always wondered but dreaded to ask: "Why the need to exaggerate?" The example Dr Magagula used is profound! It made me think of being black in the world of the white and privileged; we always have to show that we can do this and be better at it! Great conversation indeed!
