For a long while, I definitely had a really big ego around my RUclips. I feel like I didn't have much else going for me in general, so when I had something I had wanted so bad for so long in being a youtuber (off of quite a stroke of luck mind you), it really got to my head. It's easy to let that kinda thing affect you in that way, especially as a 14 year old (not to make excuses of course). It took quite a lot of time and effort to morph myself into the person I am now.
If I wanted to give my advice to anyone really, but especially youtubers, just remember that you're the only person who can change your actions. I want to be a good person, I want to be kind to the people around me, so I've made the conscious decision to alter my choices to match that. No one's born kind, and that's okay. Make the choice to be who you wanna be, and don't let habits, or the past, or the people around you, dictate who you are.

yk its not just youtubers, it can happen to basically anyone in general that surrounds themselves with people with higher statuses and wanna fit in because they think they either “belong in the same class” or “superior to others”
Id say its quite common among minecraft players for sure because most of the alleged “good players” that have never proven their skill often just brag about their skill just because they play or know other good players and think of themselves as superior just because they are in that same group.

Talk about confidence, people that lack it often get egotistical. Alot of people are dealing with it, including myself but I do think I have massively grown in that regard.
