- We bought a brand spanking new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392, with the sole intent of ripping out the factory V8 Hemi engine...only to swap in an 840 horsepower SRT Demon engine. Who says a Jeep can't be fast?

My new hero? Payton, all the way. That is some absolutely spectacular welding.
Yes it’s so cool to see some of are younger generation learning such a needed skill.
... Menthol :-) Don't Be A Maybe
That lil gal can weld.
Hopefully she actually gets paid accordingly. She has skills.
Go with "whatever you can afford". Well, I guess I'll be going with the Briggs & Stratton for now.
😅❤️
It is shame that the media and politicians don’t highlight and concentrate on these young people …… who are truly the future of our great country. Young people like this represent the continuation of what made our country great.
At 4:20. FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!
And at 13:27 absolutely loved the "Motor boat" debate especially given the recent updates and enhancements!
For Engine vs Motor: although it’s used incorrectly to the point of irrelevance, there is an actual engineering definition for both. An engine generates its power internally via reaction and a motor draws it externally. Hence “combustion” and “steam” engine vs “electric” motor. The electric motor pulls its power from an separate battery. The steam and combustion engines generate its power from thermal conversion by lighting shit on fire inside the engine itself.
Finally explained, and we’ll done, Sir! Now, back to Kevin and Brittney “motorboating”, an image I just can’t think about….!
What about Rocket motor??? I was taught that an engine uses atmosphere for an oxidizer and a motor brings along it's oxidizer...
NERD ALERT!
@@justinredman4389 As far as I found they are used interchangeably even by Wernher Von Braun. But in the model/hobby rocket engines is used for liquid fueled rockets while motor use solid. Except by the company Estes, as they call everything an engine.
And, as they told us in Auto Mechanics class, a motor has a cord on it, an engine doesn't!!
Way to go Payton!! This build is really getting detailed and interesting can’t wait to hear it!! Learning so much from your videos. Thanks!!
Spectacular! Great to see young people learning these skills and DOING! At their age I was doing this, only with plastic model kits! Sad to see the poor quality Jeep is turning out - did I see rust on welds on your new 392 frame before AMW started cutting? Mind is blown thinking of the R&D that went into these modifications! Too many “shocking” double entendres to play with…. Gotta get Bec to get Jelly into “fighting trim”! Good to see Bec and Chris smiling and doing. LiteBriteNationMentalMindBlow!
Great to see the younger generation learning, and using, those skills. So many nowadays seem to have no interest in learning a trade or doing any kind of manual work. And go Peyton! Awesome to see more young women getting involved :)
I wouldn't waiting time on fossil fueled vehicles. Government going to carbon tax these out of existence.
@@tumbleweedking5668 time to tell the government they don’t run us they work for us fuck them
@@tumbleweedking5668 It's not wasting time. Those are skills that will last a lifetime, and can be transferred across many industries. Fossil fuels will be around for a long time yet, and even when they go trucks, heavy industry, construction, etc, will still need people with these skills.
@@tumbleweedking5668 only if we keep letting them!!
Kevin must have leg cramps not from flooring it but holding his foot back 🤣 . America's Most Wanted is the best of the best!! Poor Jelly girl, a hit and run from an alley cat is never fun.... ❤❤💯🤙
I feel like the new generation is lucky too, better équipement, better knowledge from the get go. We used to weld with arc welders, nowadays kids be asking me wtf is stick welding? They all got their fancy machine we pre set setups and auto calibrate depending on what you weld..
I'm glad Jelly is ok. Bless her sweet heart.
That blue Gladiator 💙 is such a beautiful color and it sounds so badass.
Go ahead Payton! I love to see women in this field of work. She did a beautiful welding job on that frame. Outstanding! Does she have a cool vehicle that she drives by any chance 🤔
I can't wait to hear how awesome the Demon Child is going to sound once it's all said and done.
Great job Brittany describing those amazing Bill Stein shocks.
I'm sure the Demon Child is going to ride so nice with those on it.
Great to see Chris & Bec are also a part of this spectacular build.
Demon better be running 42’s 😜
Also, please bring the Demon Child to TFL and race it against the F150 lightning.
And tear up tumbleweed ranch while your there. Could actually be a cool collaborative video and benefit both LB and TFL channels.
Lighting would smoke that demon
And defeat tumbleweed ranch coarse
I'm with Kevin, write the check and roll off the lot haha. However, I think it is awesome that you guys are showing every detail along the way on what makes these vehicles as solid as they are. THANK YOU!!!
This really is some awesome stuff you're doing, thank you for bringing us along.
Good to see those young girls and guys working the trades! Too many times, too many people don’t think about the trades. Decent money and a decent living without tons of college debt. The build is coming along well. 👍
You guys are off the hook!!! Can't wait to see what's in store for us in next video. AMW great to see you guys bring in the younger generation and the skills these kids have is Amazing!!! ✌️
That thing is going to be bad ass, can’t wait for it to be done and the videos to follow!!! So stoked!!!
Wow... krzy how the build is coming along... thank you for takeing everyone along... love the shop videos... egarly awaiting your next video...Safe travels
“It’s absolutely mental” you two don’t have a million subs yet! Another great video!
I want just one of your many moments in life! To see the happiness you have in your builds, your team and each other, is truly inspiring. May you never stop doing and being exactly who you are. Definitely living a blessed life. Bravo!!!
❤️☺️🤙
that beast is looking awesome. love what you're doing to it. all the AMW add on is what I'm loving. You guys are so cool. God Bless
Can’t wait to see it finished and on the trail. You guys have to keep this one.
Payton is a fantastic welder. It takes grinding and paint to make my welds look good. Great build.
I love that part where you said "why not!", because exactly! I wonder which Jeep(s) yall will be bringing to Oliver Springs, TN in August, I can't wait to see whichever one is might be.
WOW!!! WHATEVER YOU CAN EFFORT ! DO IT RIGHT AND RIGHT YOU DID!! WELL DONE ! LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE THE END RESULT!!!
Very cool to see this process. And its awesome to see the younger generation knocking it out of the park!!
Nice project and great job with showing what goes into this project. Also, I recently saw a re-run of inside West Coast Customs and saw Chris in that episode, it is the one where a grinder gets his chin, seems to have healed without a scar.
Man the attention to detail and quality of work is amazing, now you told me how young they are how manic is that!!!
Yea, the quality at the manufacture is out the window! Their builds are done cheaply so that they can make money! NOW! Time to release the beast! 😆 Happy Trails to both of you!
So I go on a 2 week vacation with no cell service to take on the Rubicon Trail in CA and come back to all this new content!! Yall are awesome! Definitely didn't think yall would have done this build. I'm very intrigued to see what your full intention is with this build since y'all are always surprising everyone with what you end up doing.
Can't wait to see what comes next!!.
Oh and incase anyone is wondering how we faired the Rubicon trail, well... cracked hardtop, damaged weboost antenna, rocker panel somehow got dented with the rock rails on 🤔, hardened fenders dented, and full belly skids fully broke in lol.
Definitely time to get some long arms and coils, those bilstien are definitely looking good right now. Can't wait to see how they handle on that tank. (I also found out that my 15 JKU fully loaded with tools and gear weight in at 6540# and still have the stock d44s on her! I can't wait to get the next phase of the build done!)
Can't wait to see it running with the new setup
This build is completely Mental! I can't even find a simple trustworthy engine builder, yet you guys go and do something like this!
Peyton is a rock star, love seeing women get into fabrication!
Impressive to see young ones doing this amazing work. Love a young lady who is willing to go against the norm...
Looks Awesome!!! That’s definitely a Dream Jeep!!! The Gladiator is Awesome and the Blue is So Sick!!! I only wish I could own one! But I’ll be happy to just get a JL Rubicon!!! Especially in that Blue!!! Life Goals!!!
That frame update was very cool to watch.
Amazing video. Well done Payton ( hope I’m spelling it correctly)! That is amazing work. It is engine mounts 😂 Can’t wait to see the future videos. I love that gladiator, nice color as well
internal combustion engine.vs electric motor
So my cousin met you both in Daytona this year and she told me “they are putting a demon motor in a 392 Wrangler!” I am like “are you sure?”…she says “we love them, they are so cool, and yes!”…and here is that video. Awesome guys!
❤️😁🤙
Thanks Doug, they are pretty awesome!. Now talk Lori into letting me put a 392 in our JK.... please
Really hoping to see transfer case swap kit for the 392 to put the NP241 "Proper" Rubicon transfer case on a 392. Congrats on the Demon!
If I would have had this type of build 40 years ago I would not be here to write this. SICK, SICK, SICK what is doable these days. It boggles my mind to think about all this. Y' all are living in a time that I doubt will ever be repeated so, live it up while you can and savor every moment. ROCK ON!
❤️😁🤙
could listen to that super charger all day and night!!!!
Lite Brite Nation, the home of full senders!
Stoked y'all are able to showcase the cutting edge of automotive industry.
LBN to the moon!!!
😁🤙
Payton, WOW !! Outstanding young lady.
As a parent of a 22 year old, I can say your parents must be so proud.
And your husband, or boyfriend, is probably just smiling.
Great job !
You're smiling I'm 😃 so excited to see this bruiser built .you guys are MENTAL !!! .love ittttt,!! MorepowerrrrR!!!!!!
It was nice meeting you today on the trail by Tin Cup Pass. Beware of the upper trail on Italian Creek, rocks are unstable. Keep on Jeepin'.
Great meeting you as well!! 😁🤙
The Demon Child is going to be so frickin awesome , I can't wait . Heck I would of loved to have the 392 that came out of it for my TJ even though I couldn't afford it ( On disability ). Maybe someday I will be able to have Chris and Bec do an engine swap for me . Speaking about Chris , I watched an old episode of West Coast Customs last week where they were building a Caddy ( I believe it was ) for a dentist and lo and behold there was Chris. He hasn't changed a bit since then . Awesome video again guys , Take care and catch you on your next video.
Lite Brite in the morning! Love it!!
All that torque through a 4:1 t-case is going to laugh at your breaks. Gotta be one hell of a stopping setup.
Oh just wait
My kids are getting ready to start welding trade program heading into high school, I plan on showing them this and Bec's video at the school for some inspiration. Payton can lay down some caterpillars!
Congrats for the project, amazing choice👌
Is there any concerns with the alternator being in a low position related to mud and water?
This build is almost like watching a caterpillar spin its cocoon only to morph into a butterfly. What will the DemonChild look like? Guess I'll just have to wait for future posts. This is great, thanks for sharing.
Payton is an impressive craftswomen. My understanding is Electric Motor, Internal Combustion ENGINE. And yes “Motorboating” is always right.
Blue 1000 gladiator reminds me of an RC car with 6s lipo batteries for speed and sound. Crazy fast! 👍
As a guy from Jersey, I appreciate the Jersey Mike’s shout out! If you love cheesesteaks, I’d also recommend Max’s in Philly.
Just put a new ATK 4.0 in my TJ and you show me that video, all I have to say is WOW I should have done a V8! But now not just any V8 would do. Can't wait to see it done.
Britney and Kevin and the crew and the A.M.W 4×4 Awesome job y'all and I hope y'all are having fun up there in Michigan and just remember that is my home state
I'm with Brittany jersey mikes has the best Philly lol. That girl has some crazy welding skills 🤘 Payton for the win!
That is fantastic can you give me more information about the diffs In the rear is it a Dana 80 and for the front Dane 60 high pignon. The size ,the gearing choices and what kind of axle are in and the front diff are you still using unjoint or Barefield thk
Throw the 392 into Bec’s!!!
yay 7 am videos!! great way to start sunday.
Payton is an artist-great work AMW team!
Payton is the coolest employee there. She has the absolute best job. So fucking cool!!!
I’m happy to see you guys doing it right
When you climb in to that Jeep and hear “hang on”…. you better be listening!
Man that realy picked up its skirt and flew, holy shit, and the sound!!!!
All nice and amazing stuff, way over the top. How about some talk about warranty and service for the vehicle. Stuff like any manufacturer warranty still valid? How to get service if you live thousands of miles from AMW? Can ECM service at dealer still available with aftermarket tunes (and ECM) on it? (I refer to the engine control as an ECM) No doubt their builds are amazing but vehicle ownership and service after the purchase is important. 🙂
Add that E85 conversion kit from Eflex and that Demon will be putting out 1200 horsepower. Its easy to install. I bought the Eflexpro. E85 is more than 100 octane and available many places. At 15:44 looks like you need a lint remover Kevin to remove all that dog hair on you shirt. My F250 runs really good on E85 and with a 100 octane tune I only lost 0.7 Miles per gallon. Later if I keep the truck I might put 11.0 to 1 pistons in it.
I'm fine with my little 3.8 with a RIPP supercharger on 37's properly geared and trussed. Plenty of power. If I feel the need for more speed, then I hop into my Aston Martin Vulcan.
Hella siiiiick!!! Hey would it be a good idea to throw on some headers before dropping the body down?
Also be cool to hot dip galvanize the frame. That would hold up the best! And it would get it internally coated as well.
It be cool to add a price of it all at the end
Exactly what I was thinking, hope they give a detailed explanation of it all, gotta be crazy money!
Don't think you still got all your heads guys, you're crazy, this jeep was new !!!
Bad azz Demon Child.for sure. Can't wait to see and hear it roar.
*You can easily tell when someone has a passion for what they do. Just look at their work* ... 🙂
The frame comparison showing the coatings, if you were to show a freshly coated frame from the factory it would look like new. that frame you showed looks like a year or more in age.
Show the powder coat in a year, I'd like to see how it holds up.
Great vids as always.
Great stuff. Curious why just 12" coilovers? I mean I run 14" ORIs on my JKU. Can't wait to see the completed project!
Did you ever think of putting a new thicker frame under the Jeep, like the one built by Genright?
unreal... what a rig. also those welds... hooolly sheeeet
Awesome video and build. AMW need to do a right hand drive version 🇦🇺 I’ll volunteer my JL
Omg its all coming together this thing is going to be sick and a force to be recon with.. watch out the demon child is about to be born lol... can't wait for the next video...
This is going to be so sick!! I was hoping to see a class 6100 Trick truck for Baja.
HELL BOY sounds better then demon child i get it your running the demon motor but HELL BOY sound more bad ass love the build .
Can the standard gear box handle the power that thing makes? Or does the gearing in the transfer case or low speeds it will be operating at make it so that is not really that much of an issue?
Let them youngsters work. Outstanding.
Amazing build love it 😍
I think mental is not the right word, but Psycho is. This build is above and beyond anything else you have ever done, or I have ever seen. I look at my WJ build, outside, in my driveway and tell myself, if I hit the lottery I'll give AMW a call. Until then your videos, with the crazy things you do, keep this old vet inspired on my build. Still waiting on my headers. An upgrade I HAD to do, because my manifold was cracked. Yes, I have the bug, but again as you said, fits my budget. Keep the Psychoness going, I love it.
I went through the stock manifold and two others that cracked on a ZJ 4.0; finally went with a Borla and and never had another problem. Sounded nice too!
So you guy's are getting back to your roots with the new Jeep Demon Child drift car.
I don't know what you plan to do with it, but I would love to see someone build a brute or two door gladiator. With a bed with better departure angle .
Pretty awesome! I would had stayed with the Demon, the hellaphant engine is just too much for that truck no batter the mods. As you know in off road, reliability is the best ability, and that is going to just rip everything up.
Wow younger than I thought. Freaking awesome 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I don't need it, but I want that beautiful blue Hellephant swapped Gladiator so bad! lol. What a BEAST!
Ok so come on guys your building your selves a drift jeep to conbine both your hobbies in one vehicle,
I see all the right parts you cannot deny it, Brilliant idea !!!!!!
ps get well soon Jly been 🥰
Never just one vehicle with them!
Britney is going to have a great new jeep to race Kevin with when this one is built. Best always goes to the wife for a happy life
Just what you need for rock crawling haha. Cheers from Portugal
I just think that by the fall I will decide to order the AMW Gladiator. I understand about Bilstein, but tell us about AMW 8LUG, are there any big differences with Dynatrac 60/80?! Good luck with the demon!
Payton is a Rock Star!
You have a better chance of them putting a 392 in a gladiator then the chance I got of them releasing a two-door gladiator. Lol
The real MVP Is Payton. Seeing a woman succeed In a male dominated environment Is inspiring. I'm glad my daughter and other young adults have people like her to look up to.
I’m equally glad to see young men also learning and doing these great skills. All giving us hope for that the future.
@@trjnsd6874 I mention a woman doing great things in a male dominated industry and you felt the need to inject your opinion on men learning the same craft? My Son is a mechanic/fabricator and it's 10 times easier for guys to get hired and trained for fabrication jobs over women. A company willing to hire a female for that position and a female willing to learn that trade is more impressive to me.
@@2001cptdale I agree with you - glad to see youth of all stripes learning and doing great hard work. Another example -Lizzy over at Matt’s Off Road Recovery; great welder, and she’s also a champion Barrel Racer and Swing dancer! And she just turned 20! Working hard and getting it done!
Jersey Mikes also has killer Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwiches too. And Culvers Frozen Custard is the best~
This thing is gonna be AMAZING! I can't wait!
