With his plump baby face and doe eyes, he makes his murderer as memorable and as scary as Anthony hopkins did with Hannibal Lecter.
An outstanding performance by Peter Lorre, there wouldn’t be many actors today that could pull off such a part , I’d would though like to see a remake .Remarkable movie for its time .

The correct name of the Movie is "M - eine stadt sucht einen Mörder" (M - A City search a Murder) and play on Berlin.... not Düsseldorf
