This is Day 3, 2nd challenge of the day. We ate about 10 minutes after the first challenge. After this we did a fish and chips challenge then called it a day. I got a break from having to drive before this challenge. I drove 1,350 miles in England and it wore me out LOL.

I appreciate your support but I personally don't compare myself to other eaters. I have talked often about my neat eating and how it is much slower for me to eat that way. In this video, fryball or dunking the bun, smashing the food, jamming fries into my mouth, all are quicker ways to eat the food. I still do OK timewise with my style. I get zero enjoyment out of actually speed eating food. I have tons of speed eating videos on my channel including many records I still hold. They are meaningless to me though and hope they all get broken as I enjoy seeing people do well. I always refer people to eatfeats.com where they have a database where you can see my eating background as it is way too long for me to attempt to write about. on their database enter "shoudt" in the last name and search.

Well thank you both. It must be the camera or the lighting 😂 Seriously, once I got to a certain age I realized my time here is limited. If you aren't paying me to eat fast (like a major contest) then I will get enjoyment out of it. This trip crushed me with all the challenges, 2 to 3 hours of sleep and driving 1350 miles there was NO way I was going to race challenges.
I feel full on an empty stomach after this

Surely you mean tiiiiiiiiime, otherwise the emphasis is all wrong? It’s not like long where you get away with looooooooong and longgggggggg as the emphasis works both ways.
Thank you but this time should easily be beaten by any pro. I was eating neatly, I did another challenge immediately before this and this is Day 3 of doing at least 2 challenges a day. Any local pro usually films 1 - 2 videos a week max. They can come into this fresh and use faster (albeit messier) techniques. I hope they do as it would be a shame if it took another 5 years to break the record.

The dessert burger! My take home message is that if I want to eat quickly, I should do the opposite of what B.O.B normally does. I’ll eat like his wife is nowhere near me. Which is easy, since most people stand well back when you’re cramming a wad of fries into your face like a wild potatovore 😅
Between B.O.B and Brandon we’re definitely seeing a new record! Love that the owner held the previous record though. Having experience with competitive eating can only improve the quality of their food challenges.

@@NotoriousBOB True. “The Dark Arts” as Magic Mitch calls them disrespect the food and the restaurant, and at the end of the day we want restaurants to offer fun challenges that everyone enjoys hosting, taking part in, and watching.
Despite the irreverent tone I adopt in my comments, we’re lucky to live in a time and in countries where it’s possible to enjoy massive amounts of food for entertainment, and we should respect that.

I can't get my head around fry balls, I would have thought compounding them would make them more difficult to swallow?
Edit: Compounding might be the wrong word but I hope everyone knows what I mean.
It soften them up and makes them denser. It is not the fastest for me. I would take a handful and squish them. That was when I used to speed eat but I don't do that anymore

That owner is a LIAR! he didn’t finish shit! That was a marketing scheme.
I didn't see a video but there is a video of him setting the pizza record. They guy is a decent eater. TBH I am baffled how his time stood for 5 years. I would think there are many locals who could watch some YT videos about speed eating (not how I ate but actual speed eating) and be able to beat the old record. 'Pre-chew' the burger meat with your fingers, breaking it into smaller pieces making it quick to swallow. Dunk the buns into hot liquid making them quick and smash the fries up. I don't think the 'fryball' is the quickest way but I would grab a handful and squeeze them so I wouldn't have to chew much and just swallow. One hand holding a beverage and using the liquid to push it down. Standard speed eating 101
