Victor has been hired to replace Jack at Jabot, but Jack won't leave the company quietly. Victor wants Jack out of his office chair... He may want to order a new one.
Special thanks to Oakdalian for this clip.
This isn’t just one of the greatest sences in Y&r history but also in soap opera history !
Another great match between them was when Victor had a heart attack and Jack leaves the room, kicking Victor's hand aside.
It was... even how they captured it, the music, the wind, the fade out with the credits, classic.
One of the greatest scenes of Y&R. Jack said to Victor "Have a 💺on me!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was definitely a drop the 🎤 scene back then!😁 For me… it still is. One of the best scenes ever between these two career long rivals! 💯🤩😍❤️
You have give it to Eric. The smug look on his face after Peter throws that chair thru window is priceless. BEST scene Ever.
Oct 2018 scene where Jack threw Ashley's chair (after her sick plan was revealed) in the Jabot reception was also epic.
But this 2005 scene is the greatest. Seeing Victor standing there with no CEO chair to sit on is hilarious. Jack won this round.
Jack barely ever wins. Victor always wins and one ups Jack in the end. He’s more conniving and ruthless
@@adamtajyar We know. Give Jack even this round please :D
Haha Jack has a thing with chucking chairs.
@@jussimursunen9985 NO!!!! Jack is a spoiled brat.
2001 when vic threw the chair at the courtroom was fire too
I love this! We need to see this Jack again, ASAP!
He did the same thing a few years later at Ashley: ruclips.net/video/nRuFbCTxwto/видео.html
Agreed! I miss this Jack! Total gangster with Victor! 💯👍🤙🎉
Me too that was epic
Victor Newman is the man.
I have high respect for him.
I did too, until I found out in real life, he's NOTHING like his character. He's just another Hollywood, liberal, C sucker, who hates Donald Trump, and endorsed the pathetic Cumalot Harris. I will never revere Victor again.
I've always enjoyed Jack's chair throwing scenes. Nobody can throw a chair like Jack Abbott.
I WILL CRUSH YOU!!!
I loved the showdown between Sharon and Niki at the ranch.
When the stories were more intriguing!
Love the music! Wish they would bring it back.
1:36 threw that chair like a boss.
To say that Jack and Victor couldn't stand each other is an understatement.
Same could be said about Phyllis and Diane.
watching this with grandma coming up, the music, these two, shit hit completely different lol
"I want to sit in the chair that you're sitting in right now! I like it! I want you out of it, and I want me in it!"🤣
You like this chair? You want this chair? (Throws chair out the window) Have a seat. ON ME!
@@c.s.jackson7214 Well, Victor has sat on Jack for years
Love it
That’s going to be me when I go for my next interview. I want to sit in the chair you’re sitting in right now.. I like it I want you out of it and me in it lol
why isn't Jack sitting on Victor's face?
Love this scene! One of the best in y&r history.
Love this, wish I had the money to start a classic soap opera channel, I would have the classic episodes sometime in the morning, and the newest episode at night, along with a bunch of other soaps like Guiding Light, As The World Turns, Capitol, Bold And The Beautiful (also classic in the morning and new episode at night), Edge Of Night ,probably from 79 to the end Search For Tomorrow (whatever episodes I could get), Another World, Days (classic in the morning, and newest episode at night), , Generations, Santa Barbara, Sunset Beach, Passions, Knots Landing, Dallas, Dynsaty, Falcon Crest, Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place,
Many soaps prior to the mid-70s were done live, very few episodes exist; one example was the November 22, 1963 As the World Turns episode, which was airing before Walter Cronkite interrupted to announce JFK's death, which can be found at the Paley Media Center, and on a few YT sites. That show became the last scheduled program for the next 4 days. And when soaps were taped, networks used to reuse tape, a process called wiping to save money. That practice stopped by the mid to late 70s. So I imagine soaps from the mid 70s onwards are available.
@@tammylewis2408 Even if I could start from 1980 that still would be awesome.
@@scootover7 Wikipedia has a much better explanation: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_television_broadcast#Soap_operas
OmG William J. BELL knew to combine background music with acting and content... They should bring back the background music of the 90s /2000s.
Jack and Victor are the male Kay and Jill ....
Victor Newman And Jack Abbott, Is A Bitter Fued And Rivalry That Will Never End!
Best scene of Jack vs Victor ever.
2nd best !!
@@MysteriousBwoi what was the best?
Statefarmfan21 The one when Victor breaks Jack's portrait and said he will crush him 1999 !!
@@MysteriousBwoi really? Victor broke a pencil and smashed a painting. But ok. This is one of my all time favorites.
Now THAT...is Soap Opera!!!
I remember watching this on tv! Classic scene!!
I was cheering and clapping so damn hard when this happened . Lol! One of my favorite scenes ever.
This is one of my favorite scenes since I started watching in 1978 as a small child
I don't know why but this is still one of the best scenes in Soap Opera and Television history especially that line.
HAVE A SEAT, ON ME! Fucking love Jack Abbott
I miss these class Jack/Victor scenes.
These two were the best back in the day the writing and the actors were brilliant! Then came along Billy Miller I loved watching Victor and Billy scenes they were brilliant! Y&R has lost their way. 😢
Out of all the soaps and all the actors!! Jack was my favourite!! Had a huge crush on him back in the day and still do!! LOL!! Such a handsome man!!
One of my favorite scenes
Best scene ever!! Flash forward to 2019 and it is revealed that the chair killed Kerri's mom/dad/ fam and she's come back for vengence. 😆
Really?
A couple of months ago, Jack threw another chair threw a window. I would like to put a bid to supply Jabot with office chairs. With Jack Abbott walking around, I will never be broke.
I like how the Times Jack through chairs thorough the windows, Ashley had something to do with it
One of the best Victor vs Jack moments ever! To this day I laughed my ass off watching it.
That Wind Blowing On Victor, Though, (LMFAOL)! 😆
I remember this episode....😅😅😅
I love this scene one of my repeat favorites. 😂
Have a seat Vic Old Boy.
After this, Nikki comes in later and is like "what the hell Jack? You could have killed somebody walking down the street!"
Jack: Ahhhh they would e been fine 😅
"You like this chair? You want this chair?"
I was walking by Newman Enterprises the moment that happened. That chair landed right on my head. Now I'm mentally deficient and spend all my time writing inane comments on youtube.
😀😁😀😁 These Two Always Having It Out.
Excellent Jobs Jack. 😀😁🤗🤗🤗🤗 .
That Was A Great Scene Of Jack
How far this show has fallen
Victor might want to order new windows, while he is at it. Loved this scene.
Damn y&r needs these kinds of storyline again. Now some storyline are very boring today.
B and B needs them more. Taylor and Brooke being friends is silly.
Iconic scene!
Talk about a whole new level of victor getting what he wanted, but not how he wanted it 😅😅😅
With all the ppl walking past the building way down there on the ground, Jack seriously could have killed someone and up on manslaughter charges. Despite the fictional aspect, I can imagine a falling object the size of a chair has a GOOD CHANCE of hitting someone. Jack took a HUGE risk ☯️
I always loved it when Victor starts off talking but then mid sentence he raises his voice
Makes me want to see the next episode
Peter Bergman Played Duo Part Jack Abbot And Marco Annicello
Man I miss this Y&R
Hahaha victor with a chair ..now sit down and enjoy the view 😂😂😂 🎉🎉🎉
Jack would destroy his company of lipsticks and hair products just so that Victor could watch him do it.
Don't forget eye liners. But the hatred between those two? Yeah. If I was Jack I would rather burn it all down vs letting Victor walk around it.
I love the music!
A great scene in a fantastic show! 😍I do pity the poor person who was walking on the sidewalk below...the one that copped the falling chair! 😆🤣
Lol that jack thew the chair out the window lol
I was standing outside on the sidewalk underneath that window.... like ouch that chair hit me and basically killed me .... lol
In the UK they would be known as a "Double Act" Two Actors who bring out the best in terms of acting. In fact they had a "Back To Ours" Special in 2015 to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Eastenders. Various cast members got together and went down Memory Lane and talked about scenes that they did etc. In the UK there was a rivalry between Peggy Mitchell & Pat Butcher.
This was when Young and the restless was really smoking then
lol I remember this...it was funny then and it is funny now!
This is my favorite Jack and Victor fight!!!
Like somebody pointed out, hopefully that chair landed -- if somewhere else than on concrete - on Victor's limo. Otherwise Jack would find himself on court accused of manslaugher by a furniture :D
@p a I could imagine. But Victor and Nikki was always the same as Ridge and Brooke. That being said, I have always loved the rivalry of these two. :)
Jack did the same thing yesterday, except to Ashley after finding out that she tampered his DNA, claiming he wasn’t John’s son, while he is.
Tampered, not pampered. Honestly, you made it sound like she was changing the test's diaper.
Yeah and about a month and a half ago, When Jack was visiting with Diane, And when she told him not to visit her anymore, He took the chair in the visitation room and threw it across the room, Jack is a throwing chairs expert! Lol! 😆
The best fights on Y&R are the ones between JACK ABBOTT and VICTOR NEWMAN.It was Y&R at it's BEST!!
I think Jack should have bare-a__ farted on the chair and then politely asked Victor to have a seat.
Wow! What a scene!!!! ROFL!
***** I don't know which is better either. Victor vs Jack and Jill vs Katherine are both fantastic! :) Other rivalries on other soaps are fantastic too! :)
+spinnernet1 Best daytime rivalry was on B&B, Stefanie vs Brooke. Stephanie campaigned for Ridge / Caroline . Brooke's consolation prize was Eric Forrester, Stefanie's husband. And from there the gloves came off. And when Brooke ending up with Stephanie's company, I laughed. Brooke always lost the battle, but Stephanie never won the war. Jack vs Victor was a close 2nd. Jill vs Katherine with Brenda Dixon would of been # 1, had that actress lasted.
+sonyab1974 are you kidding me that was one of the best scenes between jack and victor
+sonyab1974 Victor vs Jack, Jill vs Katherine, Sheila vs Lauren and Stephanie vs Brooke were the greatest rivalries of all time.
I was only about 17 or 18 at the time when this happened but I remember this
I wonder if Eric and Peter enjoy their scenes together... 30+ years of beef...I was watching from my dorm the day Jack threw the chair....I was shook😳 for a week but I was glad I was home to see it.
This is old, but there is a rumor that Eric Braden and Peter Bergman got into a fist fight or close to it behind the scenes. This was almost 2 decades ago. Chances are TPTB let them both know either could be fired. And while Jack is a recast we all forget the E.B did leave the show for a few months because of contract disputes.
Amazing that these two are still vibrant actors!! Love then as adversaries but lately the softer side has been nice.
Wow 2005 WAS "THAT" LONG AGO?
2005 was the last good year of Y&R. I hate is no longer good like this storyline was
When Jack is wheeling the chair to the window, Victor's face is like: "What are you doing?"
I would love a story where Ian Ward, Jack Abbott, Simon Black, Marco Annicelli, Walter Palin(Who is in Witness Protection), and Bobby Marsino(Who is in Witness Protection) all team up against Victor Newman and Adam!
that would be epic!!!!!!!!!!
The only time I saw Jack intimidate Victor
1:45 Doesn't he give a damn that chair could've landed on somebody down below, creating another lawsuit?
Jack vs Victor has got 2 go down as one of the top 5 epic feuds in soap history!
That was hilarious!
He did it again recently. Same office but out the window adjacent to the secretary's desk.
I love Jack's nonchalant arrogance (okay, well maybe throwing the chair out the window isn't so nonchalant). Victor is getting frustrated that he's not able to push his weight around with him.
And you know the lady’s that watched this for the first time they couldn’t believe what they just seen hahahahahaha
This is epic!!!!!! Love it.
meanwhile, on the unsuspecting human several stories below ....
That glass broke WAY too easily lol!
they HATE each other. 😆 thank GOD its just entertainment.
They had a fist fight in real life....
Not just entertainment!
I feel sorry for that poor person's car that chair landed on.
The suspenseful music that always plays 😂 0:18 🤣
Award-winning performance by everyone.
I will NEVER forget this scene
Y&R needs to do an all-out Jack & Victor fight. It's a long time coming (make it similar to Matt vs Nick fight back in 1994). I mean the storyline more than calls for it, and the actual actors themselves had a go at each other in the 90's.
Yeah those actors real life fist fight and the creation of Sheila Carter is what kept this show #1 back then and the audience was glued ever since
So Jack breaks his own window and people hate Victor? That was a punk move. Victor is a boss.He would NEVER have done that. His accent is a plus! "I like that chair. I want you out of it and I want me in it!" Only a serious boss could go in somebody else's office and say that and push the man until he throws his own chair from his own window...so nobody can have it I guess...so weak. Typical weak Jack.
Its Newman Enterprises window he smashes. And who said anyone hate Victor? Jack is actually the villain in this storyline (for a change).
No. They were at Jabot. That's Jack's office, not Newman. Jack threw his own chair out of his own window.
Are you sure? I could've sworn that is Victor's office. Unless you mean it's Jack's in a sense he was running the company at that time and the Newman Enterprises was under Jabot Cosmetics at the time.
Jack stuck it to Victor there
Terry Gyimah Lol wrong jack ALWAYS loses TO Victor
Victor always crushes him
Jack had one of his rare moments.
I remember this episode when after Jack threw that chair out he said to victor u want this chair have this on me always had me dying laughing this is classic right here for all the ages we miss the rivalry lol
Good ole feisty jack
You like this chair have a seat on me lol.
EPIC ! Love Jack so much. i love peter as Jack... i think that Terry Lester (First Jack) wouldn't play this Jack that tough against Victor.
and: Don't mess with Victor Newman ? I would kick his ass :D
Victor is ruthless , treacherous but he gets the job dune❤
This is the best!
I loved this episode
The original chair girl lol
The scene I'm trying to find is, after Jack had convinced John to go public, Jabot was all excited to meet their new majority stockholder, and in walked... Victor Newman.
