Dance is an integral part of Indigenous culture and has had a powerful impact on the youth of Lac La Croix First Nation in Northern Ontario. From providing a positive outlet for self-expression to building self-esteem and confidence, keeping the youth dancing and involved in OLI throughout the pandemic was crucial for the community's leaders and us.
