Glad I could help! Keep in mind there is not a perfect launch monitor but some are better than others for sure. Its all about what to realistically expect from each unit and then decide which you want based on the pros and cons of each. Your doing the right thing in researching. Let me know if you have specific questions. Thank you for watching
@@creelgolf thank you. My room is 12’ wide 9’ high and about 18’ deep I was looking at either the eye xo or the new GC 3. I Mostly want it for sim play with family and friends my Man cave . Struggling Since I have one lefty in the family but he’s not around too often. Really looking for a great sim ease of play and great graphics Also trying to figure out the whole striking mat situation and would like to have the ability to putt
With the width of your room it will be hard to accommodate a lefty with the EYEXO due to a hitting zone that you must stay in for unit to read. With 12 foot wide room the lefty and righty will hit on opposite sides of mat which EYEXO can not accommodate. For EYEXO to work the golfer must hit out of a zone 12" wide so 1 foot. If lefty is part of the equation then the GC3 floor unit may be best bet since you can move from one side to the other which is not fun either! I also have a 9 foot ceiling which puts my EYEXO unit below recommended height which is between 9 and 10 feet. On a 9 foot ceiling the unit will be around 8.5 feet from floor to unit but again it works fine for the most part. I did have to manually focus my cameras in the unit to read properly since my unit is closer than recommended. The Graphics will be based on computer you get and pay attention to graphics card and recommendations for the software you intend to use. Don't go cheap on computer or projector if graphics are a priority. I use CCE mat and putt of the edge of it with not issues. I love the mat but others hate it.
@@creelgolf thank you for the advice. I think the GC3 is the best bet and was leaning that way since the lefty playing is a rare occurrence. I have a pretty stout gaming / video editing computer with the latest graphics card I ca use Any advice on impact screens and projectors ? Especially for a DIYer. I’m planning on maximizing screen space by installing as wide as possible and adding some type of wall impact solution like foam instead of using prebuilt enclosures . I actually have 9’4” to ceiling from floor and most likely leaning towards a short throw projector but unsure on placement from Screen
Would be great to see an iron comparison against Skytrak if you could get your hands on. Golf sim videos did a comparison with eye xo on woods and the numbers were very close, would be good to see for irons
If I can get my hands on one I will do a comparison. I imagine if woods are accurate then the irons and wedges should be due to slower swing and ball speed. I will see if I can find someone locally with one. Thanks for watching.
EYE XO, with the ease of adding cameras and then the playback of impact position is great for people trying to improve. Uneekor’s software is really good. I will say that the quad reads dynamic Lie and dynamic loft better but all other data points are similar.
It's great on putting. Only issue I've ever had was shot lofted over 35 or so degrees with an open lob wedge. Black wedge solved that problem. Eye XO is great.
They both read H launch, ball speed and total roll distance very closely. EYEXO does not give spin data or skid data like the quad does. The EYEXO also will not read the putter head data like the Quad does. For playing games both work great but if you’re looking for path, lie, face angles along with more detailed ball data then quad is the best out there.
Great video! Would love to see driver comps! Thx
Check out my channel, I did one with hybrid, 3 wood and driver. Thanks for watching David.
Great comparison. Your definition of a miss or bad shot is much different than mine. I would love to hit like you do!
Great video Thanks! designing my Sim and really struggling on what launch monitor to get

@@jdegid get a projector that has lense shift capability and placement is then more forgiving.
Would be great to see woods tested too and always against your Flightscope X3

im going to compare my skytrak with the eye xo soon :)
@@3o1Golf that would be great to see. I don’t know anyone with a skytrak so I am curious how it stacks up.
@@3o1Golf will be interested to see that. Does your Skytrak have the latest update for spin decay?
Be good to see for mid iron and driver too if poss
I wonder how they read big curves differently. Ie big slice or hook.
If price was no issue, and no need for left hand nor outdoor usage, which one would you go with for game improvement?

How does EyeXO do on putting compared to the quad? Looking primarily at the EyeXO for simulation

Does the EYEXO require dots on the club face?
Yes, Uneekor uses 1 square reflector on heel and 1 long rectangle reflector on toe to gather club data.
Yes do woods...especially driver!
how accurate is the putting EYEXO vs. GC Quad? Have you tested both side by side?
