Pressure Mat a must for Junior Golfers
Просмотров 1472 года назад
Most all Junior golfers I teach jump thru the impact zone on both front and back feet to get their power. Some will grow out of this move but most will fight this habit their whole life. I try to break this habit early on by teaching a strong lateral shift with hip rotation so they can learn to use the ground better. With the V1 sports app and Pressure mat My juniors can not only see what they ...
Quickly fix the Early Extension
Просмотров 1922 года назад
One of the most common issues I see with my students is the Early Extension. This occurs on downswing when the upper body pulls out of the shot. This action is caused mostly due to hips moving closer to the ball on downswing which causes upper body to move up. Other side affects are hips slowdown and casting of the club. Early Extension will cause inconsistent contact and up and down scores.

Foresight GC Quad vs Uneekor EYEXO hybrid, 3 wood , DRIVER
Просмотров 4 тыс.3 года назад
Since I have been introduced to the SIM world I have noticed that units start misreading and get really inconsistent once you get to the faster heads such as a hybrid, 3 wood, and Driver. I want to show you how good the EYEXO and GCQuad read with these faster clubs. SO this may help you when your selecting your next unit!
Uneekor EYEXO vs Foresight GC Quad

I see a lot oaf questions on how accurate the Uneekor units are so I wanted to demonstrate how well the EYEXO compared to one of the most trusted units on tour and for teaching pros around the world, the Foresight GC Quad. In this video I only compared irons and ball data. I hope you enjoy
Flightscope Mevo+ D Plane Explained
Просмотров 8 тыс.3 года назад
Recently Flightscope announced that it will be adding the Fusion Tracking technology to their entry level unit, Mevo . This now makes the Mevo a mid-tier unit reading both ball and club data. The Fusion Tracking technology will give the Mevo the capability to add several club data parameters. With the new data points you will be able to get the D plane like you would on a trackman or X3 unit. T...
How to get on plane with your Takeaway
Просмотров 893 года назад
Keep your hands tight with your rotation in backswing to stay on plane which allows you to have a higher chance of staying on plane with your transition to downswing. This technique also creates depth in backswing and can help you shallow out on the downswing to get rid of that nasty slice or fade.

Cure the over the top swing with this Towel Hack
Thank you very much.
Super helpful video! Have you had a chance to try out the Face Impact add-on to the Mevo+? I'm curious if it helps adjust for the gear effect when hitting toe/heel shots and if the spin axis numbers will reflect where on the face the ball was struck? Or is the Face Impact a visual only tool and it doesn't change the spin axis numbers? Thanks!
Will the xo work without the reflective tape or do all your buddies have to put reflective tape on their clubs in order to play a game? Thank you.
I know this is old but how much time do you spend each day playing peenseeker currently

that has got to be the coolest room conversion to a golf studio. holy crapppp that's nice man. If I may ask, how much did it cost for all the equipment (excluding the golf clubs / bags of course)
@Daniel, Good to see you posting some videos again.
no hip rotation, and your backswing is too short. ,
You have no idea what you are talking about man...
plenty of rotation to get it done in less than 70 strokes, you must be one of those one swing fits all guys, lol!
@@upstairsgolf3765 Anybody can shoot under 70..I do it with one arm tied behind my back.. When you drive it 370 on average--then we talk
@@giomusah2155 370 is impressive, you must have a lot of “rotation” lol! Good luck with your long drives.
@@creelgolf you should probably send back the money you won from Gio on pinseeker. Sounds like he is still a little bit upset about it.
With the mat you stand on, how high is it to the ceiling? I want to get a Uneekor for my basement. Current unfinished but it’s about 8’10” from the cement to ceiling. My concern is that I wouldn’t be able to hit my driver once I get the mat in there.
I have 9 foot ceilings. Mat is roughly 1.5 inches. My unit is around 8.6 feet from ball which is under recommended height and it works fine. I’m am a shorter guy and don’t have issues at all with ceiling height.
were you using stickers on your clubs?
Yes, I used the foresight stickers.
I wonder how they read big curves differently. Ie big slice or hook.
Very helpful;explained super,,,😊
Nice shots ! Try 1 less club it’s so much easier than trying to max out
If price was no issue, and no need for left hand nor outdoor usage, which one would you go with for game improvement?
EYE XO, with the ease of adding cameras and then the playback of impact position is great for people trying to improve. Uneekor’s software is really good. I will say that the quad reads dynamic Lie and dynamic loft better but all other data points are similar.
@@creelgolf Thanks! I'm liking the idea of the playback as well
Great comparison. Your definition of a miss or bad shot is much different than mine. I would love to hit like you do!
What did the ace pay for the $6 buyin
How does EyeXO do on putting compared to the quad? Looking primarily at the EyeXO for simulation
It's great on putting. Only issue I've ever had was shot lofted over 35 or so degrees with an open lob wedge. Black wedge solved that problem. Eye XO is great.
Thanks for this. Good information.
Your welcome!! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. I have been debating between the XO and the GC3. I wanted the GC3 for the accuracy but you have pretty much proved the XO is just as accurate and you get more club data with the XO. I can’t wait for your review of the club data.
Doing a good video and then stumble by not bothering to put the stickers on the clubhead🤦♂️ Please re-do this with stickers? Maybe hit more shots, less talk and then put the data together with % differences?
The video was to focus on ball data which was done. Maybe I can do one one club data at some point. You must remember each unit is calibrated to read specific sticker shape and pattern. This means comparing units at same time may or may not give accurate comparisons. The EYEXO tends to pick up some club data with shiny headed clubs which is why you saw club data on Uneekor, but it is not accurate unless Uneekor stickers are on club head. The hybrid was only Club in demonstration that had stickers but I did not compare club data due to that was not purpose of video. You can always Hit mute next time you watch my videos.
Awesome video, thanks.
Thank you!!
Great video! Would love to see driver comps! Thx
Check out my channel, I did one with hybrid, 3 wood and driver. Thanks for watching David.
Great video! I'm really impressed with the EYE XO in comparison to the GCQuad. Even if you wanted both outdoor and indoor use, you could get an EYE XO for indoor use and a Mevo+ for outdoor use and still save $4k or so over the GCQuad with the clubhead add-on. Not to mention that the EYE XO works with all the 3rd party simulator software; whereas, GCQuad is mostly limited to FSX. Thanks!
Good idea. Integration with third party software is a problem with quad, very frustrating actually. I’m at PGA show now and looking forward to seeing the new updated package for the Mevo + in action. Also I think Uneekor is announcing something new today.
@@creelgolf Exciting times! I have a tandem garage area that I'm hoping to eventually turn into a golf simulator/practice area. It's about 12' wide x 20' long x 9.5' high. Just researching all the options now, but I'll look forward to hearing more about the Mevo+ Pro package and the announcement from Uneekor. Thanks again for your insightful videos!
@@cthoesen Your welcome! I hope to have my hands on Mevo+ with upgrade soon for review.
Great review and awesome setup! I have a couple questions about your set up. How wide is you're screen? Are you able to use regular balls with the Uneekor or do you need to use the special marked ones? I'm looking at turning my garage into a mancave with a simulator and a pool table, problem is It's 23' x 21.5' so I'm trying to figure out the minimum width for the sim.... Thanks!
Thanks for watching! My screen is 9’ wide and 9’ tall. I use regular prov1x balls with not markings, which is main reason I went with EYEXO over QED version. To accommodate left and right handed golfers you need 14-15 feet width. My room is around 12.5 feet wide and I can’t have a lefty hit in my bay the way I have it set up. I have 12 feet ball to screen. You can get away with 9-10 feet ball to screen. EYEXO is great unit for sims with limited space.
Nice camera replay setup. How did you do that on OBS and what camera do you have? Thanks!
the slow motion cameras are cameras that I purchase thru Uneekor directly. The cameras on that are zoomed into club are the cameras internally in the Uneekor system. In OBS I add the window for each camera on the Uneekor software and crop out the edges to make it look cleaner. The camera that is realspead is a Gopro 10 I believe. Lots of open windows, lol.
would be interesting to compare vs swing catalyst as well! I've tried out boditrak before but their iPad app was really bad (2yrs ago). also may I ask how you streamed iPad screen on OBS? Thanks!
The v1 boditrak Seems to work well with v1 on iOS and with my desktop paired with the already impressive v1 software. I recorded on iPad then in my movie editor added to OBS recording and synced the timing. Swing catalyst is out of my price range, I would have to see technology to better understand that price tag.
Does the EYEXO require dots on the club face?
Yes, Uneekor uses 1 square reflector on heel and 1 long rectangle reflector on toe to gather club data.
Nice video. I need to think about this more.
Thank you! The boditrak V1 pressure mat has changed the way I teach, it has helped my students swing better much faster than any drill I have used in past. It’s something a player can feel and grasp instantly. Of course there is other things we work on but this pressure mat really gets my students swinging better by the time they leave without a million swing thoughts.
Great review You ever have issues swinging driver with 9 foot ceilings ?
I have not. I will admit it feels a little tight but no one has ever hit ceiling. It does take a few swings to get comfortable!
I also have a 9' ceiling and I'm 5'10 and haven't had any issue hitting a driver.
looks like you cant go wrong with either :)
both are awesome units! It comes down to budget and what purpose the unit is going to be used for!
good video,,,,, but 12,000 rpm on a 8 iron ? something is weird....average PGA tour spin rate for an 8 iron is 8000 ?? you should check your settings please....but maybe you didn't notice....
Thanks for watching and looking out! I went back and watched video! I was hitting an 8 iron on the 170 yard shot around the 9 minute mark. All shots had 6500 to 7100 spin (no misreads). If you Go back and watch I actually show bottom of club and e6 has me as hitting a 5 wood on that particular shot. The shot I believe your referring to is a lob wedge or 58* that I was using in my last series of shots. The spin was in 11000-12000 range I believe. E6 auto caddie picks random clubs in bottom left of screen but has no impact on distance/spin outcome. The EYEXO uses its own algorithm based of ball data alone for each shot not the club selection from E6 3rd party software. Thanks again for watching and hope you are playing PinSeeker! It’s a blast.
Great shot. Merry Christmas!
Trying to understand how this differs from spin axis?? Any help?
No difference, the purpose of d-plane is to illustrate how the spin axis and horizontal launch is created for each shot. I think it is necessary to understand what is happening at impact so a player can correctly self diagnose a shot. From experience most players put blame on swing path when the cause is club face angle (FTT) or unsolid contact. When players focus on correcting wrong thing then the problem gets worse. Sorry for confusion but no difference here , spin axis is a result of the the D-plane. In the 3D model in video you can see a blue line that runs through ball, that represents spin axis. Hope this clears things up!
Really good work. Weight transfer is an underrated factor in the golf swing.
Thanks Glenn. This is definitely something a player needs to get on a few times a year to keep their game in check. It is best to get on a mat when you are hitting the ball good so you can see what your trace looks like with your irons and woods when playing well. Now when you are hitting it bad the first thing I would check is if my current foot trace against my good ball striking foot trace.
Keep up the good work. I enjoyed watching your review of the Pressure Mat.... I think I may order one
Thanks Vaughan! Definitely worth having. I had to get one so I could keep up with you on the PinSeeker leaderboard ; ) Let me know if you’r seriously considering purchasing, I can shoot you the contact info.
@@creelgolf Haha I was thinking about getting one to keep up with you on the leader board. I have been having some issues with the Mevo plus latest firmware update. I have been getting some misreads( ball travels 30 percent short, on a clean strike) and some shots with extreme amount of spin. Its been making it frustrating past few days. Going to try resetting everything and re updating.
I am reading that a lot of folks are having problems with the update. have you reached out to their support team?
Yes do woods...especially driver!
So on the X3 and a soon to be Mevo + w Pro Package is the face to target (FTT) number measured/calculated at first touch and independent of gear effect or is the FTT data influenced by gear effect like the H launch number is?
FTT will be measured at first touch so gear effect will not change the FTT data. X3 is being updated to show impact position to help see a better story. Not sure how well it will measure impact but we will see.
Thank you. That is great. Means the FTT number is being measured directly (somehow). Makes sense that the next upgrade to X3 is to show impact location like Trackman is now doing. Won’t see that on Mevo + but that is ok.
@@Dan-ld3mj so these units use radar signals which have the ability to bend around objects like a club face. I compare it to a cell phone signal, say if your behind a wall but the signal still is there. This radar works the same. The fusion technology which will use the camera inside the unit to help the Radar readings separate the data between the club head, ball and any debris (divots) from one another at impact and post impact. There is a lot of activity at impact that can sometimes cause misreads and this update will help units capture better data throughout bag. The impact location on the trackman is not great and from what I see, most people don't use it. I imagine the same for my X3 unit but I am eager to see if its worth the hype. According to Flightscope the Mevo+ is close to as powerful as the X3 units. 2 main differences is the X3 is full flight tracking and the Mevo+ is limited flight tracking which means only first 40 to 50 yards of flight is tracked and rest is calculated where the X3 will read until ball lands if uninterrupted. The other thing is the X3 self levels which is key to accurate readings. I imagine one day they will upgrade the housing to the Mevo+ so that it can self level but they may not if they continue to keep a higher end unit.
@@Dan-ld3mj thanks for clarifying. I’ve been told different in past! Another reason quad may be more reliable for club data. If center strike I imagine it would be very accurate but off center hits my guess is it maybe slightly off but still reliable.
@@Dan-ld3mj I may do a video just to test this out on center and off center hits between the quad and FlightScope’s x3. This will let us know if there is a real difference between the two technologies. Glad you dug into this a little more
Do you think it’s worth it for the low point control just as much as the D plane ?
I believe Angle of Attack is more critical to understand but it is important to understand low point to get desired AOA. Depending on how steep or shallow you attack the ball determines your alignment to compensate which not many people don’t understand. Alignment is so important! Every club has a slight different AOA so alignment must change along with that. They all work together, the more you can understand how they tie together all this info the easier it is to diagnose why a shot does what it does. I am actually trying to build a model to demonstrate the overall picture that speaks about H plane, swing path, low point, Angle of Attack, face angle. To demonstrate an overall picture!! Thanks for watching
Excellent video!
Thank you!!
Another great review. Interesting that eye xo launch little lower when on other RUclips reviews it’s a little higher. Would still be great if you could get your hands on Skytrak to see how this compares. Eye xo is great to have as baseline as doesn’t interfere with readings on other lm, whereas difficult to compare quad and Skytrak for this reason
Would be great to see woods tested too and always against your Flightscope X3
wood comparison is up!
Great video Thanks! designing my Sim and really struggling on what launch monitor to get
Glad I could help! Keep in mind there is not a perfect launch monitor but some are better than others for sure. Its all about what to realistically expect from each unit and then decide which you want based on the pros and cons of each. Your doing the right thing in researching. Let me know if you have specific questions. Thank you for watching
@@creelgolf thank you. My room is 12’ wide 9’ high and about 18’ deep I was looking at either the eye xo or the new GC 3. I Mostly want it for sim play with family and friends my Man cave . Struggling Since I have one lefty in the family but he’s not around too often. Really looking for a great sim ease of play and great graphics Also trying to figure out the whole striking mat situation and would like to have the ability to putt
With the width of your room it will be hard to accommodate a lefty with the EYEXO due to a hitting zone that you must stay in for unit to read. With 12 foot wide room the lefty and righty will hit on opposite sides of mat which EYEXO can not accommodate. For EYEXO to work the golfer must hit out of a zone 12" wide so 1 foot. If lefty is part of the equation then the GC3 floor unit may be best bet since you can move from one side to the other which is not fun either! I also have a 9 foot ceiling which puts my EYEXO unit below recommended height which is between 9 and 10 feet. On a 9 foot ceiling the unit will be around 8.5 feet from floor to unit but again it works fine for the most part. I did have to manually focus my cameras in the unit to read properly since my unit is closer than recommended. The Graphics will be based on computer you get and pay attention to graphics card and recommendations for the software you intend to use. Don't go cheap on computer or projector if graphics are a priority. I use CCE mat and putt of the edge of it with not issues. I love the mat but others hate it.
@@creelgolf thank you for the advice. I think the GC3 is the best bet and was leaning that way since the lefty playing is a rare occurrence. I have a pretty stout gaming / video editing computer with the latest graphics card I ca use Any advice on impact screens and projectors ? Especially for a DIYer. I’m planning on maximizing screen space by installing as wide as possible and adding some type of wall impact solution like foam instead of using prebuilt enclosures . I actually have 9’4” to ceiling from floor and most likely leaning towards a short throw projector but unsure on placement from Screen
@@jdegid get a projector that has lense shift capability and placement is then more forgiving.
Would be great to see an iron comparison against Skytrak if you could get your hands on. Golf sim videos did a comparison with eye xo on woods and the numbers were very close, would be good to see for irons
If I can get my hands on one I will do a comparison. I imagine if woods are accurate then the irons and wedges should be due to slower swing and ball speed. I will see if I can find someone locally with one. Thanks for watching.
im going to compare my skytrak with the eye xo soon :)
@@3o1Golf that would be great to see. I don’t know anyone with a skytrak so I am curious how it stacks up.
@@3o1Golf will be interested to see that. Does your Skytrak have the latest update for spin decay?
Be good to see for mid iron and driver too if poss
how accurate is the putting EYEXO vs. GC Quad? Have you tested both side by side?
They both read H launch, ball speed and total roll distance very closely. EYEXO does not give spin data or skid data like the quad does. The EYEXO also will not read the putter head data like the Quad does. For playing games both work great but if you’re looking for path, lie, face angles along with more detailed ball data then quad is the best out there.
Terrific video. Thank you for the explanation. Looking forward to being able to utilize this with the Mevo+ once it's released.
Thanks for watching.

DC good videos. Glad to find you on here. I look for you on all the pinseeker events. Always looking to try and beat you. Lol.
You to RT, thanks for watching. I look forward to seeing your name on the leaderboard!!
What’s the number dude!!
You want to hit up as much as possible while keeping optimal spin. I hit up 4.5-6 degrees with 2k spin. This allows me to carry on average 280 with 295-305 total. This is with 107 swing speed and 162 ball speed. If I hit down on ball my spin would spike up and carry would be around 250 range with same swing speed. Key to more distance is hitting up with proper technique. May need a shaft adjustment with new impact position but well worth it. Don’t need
