  • This is one of 2 or 3 Federal Signal STH-1O sirens in Lancaster. This one is powered by a 3 phase 480 volt circuit, but I don't know about the operating amperage. WARNING: This video is very loud, so carefully adjust your volume to avoid an unpleasant surprise. The siren begins to wind-down (turn off) at 1:22 and takes just over 3 minutes from this point to completely stop. The entire wind-down is the reason for a nearly 5 minute video. Hope you enjoy it.

I miss the old system. It’s all T-128s now

That's really sad. My fear had come true that the older sirens would get replaced. I wish I could have my own siren system of restored vintage sirens set up for public warning notification. I would set them up in places where people could film them.

Oy! Soundscape person! Do any of the RM-127s still run or are they all dead?

Your video of the Lancaster 2am siren activation malfunction has great siren ambience. It was different to hear an ATTACK mode since Lancaster normally sounds their sirens in ALERT. History was made during those early morning hours, and you captured it on video, and that is awesome.

@@wadessirenvideos6750 thanks man that ambience is very distinct. It indeed made history because that was the last time that system sounded!

Hello wade, I have a question, have you recorded the ACA Allertor siren in Hurst, Texas before? The town is near Fort Worth Texas.
