If u can’t customize go to manage 3d settings, dsr factors, click it and press restore. You’ll be able to customize your resolution now. This took me hours to find

I guess I just have to change my monitor resolution while I play, I wanted to avoid that but since I don't have any icons on my desktop anyway it's fine

Just change the scaling mode to Full screen like he did.
You don't need to set a custom res.
I had to still for it to work
change res to 4:3 equivalent of your 16:9 res and change desktop size/pos to full screen in nvidia control pannel. there, i saved you 8 minutes of losing braincells

For AMD is basically the same, you just wanna go into your Radeon software -> settings -> Display and you have custom resolution there, you just create it and then in the same field, left side, you have GPU Scaling which you should enable. After that you set your scaling mode to "Full panel". After all this you go to your display settings from windows, change the resolution there and enjoy streched res in CSGO :). Great video btw 👍

4:41 actually if u have a display port cable and a 144hz and a graphics card that supports 144hz, (or any higher than 144hz) you can just change that to the maximum hz ur monitor supports

For anyone having problems with the thing saying "Disable Dynamic Super Resolution" go to your 3D settings and go to "DSR - Factors" and unselect any of them selected (probably 4.0x) and apply and you should be fine

I did everything like you did, changed the resolution to 1440x1080 and I literally see desktop with csgo sound and I can hear the options when I move my mouse... Help pls
Probably extending your display. Try Win+P key and cycle through those settings.
You can also go to
Nvidia control panel > Display > Adjust desktop size and postition > Select scaling mode > full screen
then when you go into cs it should stretch the game to fit your screen

I can't choose scaling on Adjust desktop size and pos
for the people who still dont know you cannot change any of the scaling settings on the Adjust Desktop Size and Position section when GPU Scaling is enabled under Image Sharpening.
i am so confused on the res to 4:3 part cause my monitor is kinda small so i use 1440 x 900 for the monitor anyone know what the 4:3 for that is lmao

@@radulupu6677 go to your intel graphics settings usually in control panel, or right click on desktop and you'll get it. once you open it, go to display and on scaling settings click on scale to full screen and hit apply, in steam you need to set it's launch options to "-noborder"

You can't have 1920x1080 on 4:3 lol.

for my broken intel users:
To create custom resolution, right click -> Graphic Options and at the last Drop down you will find custom resolution
To Make it strected= right click -> Graphic Properties then Choose Display option. Select the 4:3 resolution you want and make sure to check the option [Scale Full screen]

For AMD, you right click and go into the Radeon software, go into settings, click display, and set scaling mode to full panel.
Then you set your resolution to 4x3 in csgo

Easy, go into the "Manage 3D Settings" tab, click on the first entry which should say "Image Sharpening". Click on that and unselect GPU scaling. That's it.
When i put it to full screen but there's still black bars
