Been looking for this vid for six years! The very best homage to, and breakdown of, Imaginary Authors' scents, thank you so much!!!! Really appreciate you showing exactly what the design of the box and its contents look like, other RUclipsrs annoyingly did not. Thanks again, subscribed!
Man you’re a great “new” reviewer ,cool details about the video, very good suggestions about value for money and alternatives.. Well done! Greetings from Italy
I am officially sold on this sample set. I know exactly the ones I am going to get in the set! Definitely Memoirs of a trespasser, Cape heartache and Saint julep for sure! Lovely review Chris and thank you for the super informative video! I can't wait to try these! From Canada, Alex
Wow man this video is awesome can't believe you've only been doing this a short while your vids come across like you've been doing this for years and video quality is excellent keep it going my friend really impressed 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
2 Scents Worth Thanks so much! They do take a while to put together so don't churn them out as much as others. I keep coming up with Ideas that then take me ages to execute. Worth it in the end though!
Been intrigued by Imaginary Authors for some time, but never got round to trying any of them. Bought the sample set last night so can’t wait to try them all. Definitely a cost effective way to “try before you buy”. Amouage do a really good sample set which is £75 in the UK. Definitely worth a look if you like any from that house.
Bought this a couple weeks ago, wow! I was really blown away, like you. I bought Yesterday Haze straight away but it was conflicting. I want them all! Lol. Cheers from the US.
Awesome take on the house brother. Never tried it but there's a bunch of really good looking blends right there. The simplistic art and the appealing concept are exquisite. Keep it up.
Waffle Cone was my intro to the brand after your post and really love their concept. Very interesting and fun sample set. My wife bought me one for Christmas and I ordered another so I could try out the rest of the current line. I have my favorites of course but all of their fragrances are enjoyable and well done! Appreciate you introducing this brand to me! 😎 🙏
@@dnjakejacob Cape Heartache & Slow Explosions are my favorites. Cobra & the Canary is good too but more challenging. Definitely recommend the discovery set if you’ve never tried the brand.
Yesterday haze, Bulls blood and whispered myths are fantastic... They change through the day it's wonderful. I'm not a huge fan of city on fire though. It reminds me of the smell that sticks on my clothes after I cook bacon. Not a bad scent, just not what I look for in a fragrance.
I know this is a late comment, but I just got this a few days ago and have been testing since. I think that 5 of them are definitely bottle worthy but I enjoyed 9 of the 10 I received ( I got two extra in the box and was jealous you got 4 😂) The only one I really didn’t enjoy was Sundrunk, it smelled like the bathroom air freshener at work. My favorites were Memoirs, Slow Explosions, Every Storm, and Saint Julep
Man, I would guess it depends on what you look for in "zesty green". St Julep doesn't scream "zesty" to me because I can smell the bourbon in it (which I love) and it grounds it in an older, darker, more rounded scent. The citrus is zesty but not the primary note of that scent. IDK, for zesty green I might suggest The Soft Lawn for having a bright, sassy, tangy green while still not being too floral to be feminine. But I guess it's what you're going for. Soft Lawn sits very high and bright, not a lot of depth. St Julep has depth, so you may like that after all.

Alex they're all excellent. Memoirs and Cape are my favourite but I could quite easily own all of them! Hope you enjoy 👍

One of my fave reviews of yours so far. Interested in the house and love the concept and you've covered them really well.
Thanks very much👍🏻
Memoirs of a trespasser is the winner for me. I love woods and I love vanilla. It's incredible

wich is the greenest ?
@@Kevin2589 no man didnt buy any yet .
just wanted any 1 wich is like green masculine
Cape Heartache captures my heart with it strawberry notes. very much like my home town's dried strawberries, and it transforms beautifully

I've got one coming. I'm not sure how it was four years ago, but today you get to pick the eight you want to try.
Revisiting this video after I got my own discovery set. Gotta say I love them all, great review
Thanks Joe. Love this set!

Fantastic disco set!
Had all these... very unique and super cool house!
I'm a new follower and I have enjoyed the 2 dozen or so videos I've experienced but the production on this one is tops.

Yes a very exciting Indie house that I'm really looking forward to spending more time with. Thanks man!

@@dnjakejacob Forgot to mention City on Fire… another great one if you like smoky fragrances. Just the right amount too… not harsh at all.

Nice one buddy, really great watching you get your nose on those beauties. Hope you'll these a regular feature! ✌️
Glad you enjoyed it my friend. Thanks for watching 👍
7,000 views? Chris i think you should revisit these now in 2022. Would be a great idea for a video. Love this company and how they present.
Just getting into this brand how much is the sample set and can u get the fragrance in a 100 ml bottle too
Great blog as always 👍👊
Any decent sillage on these? Sexy and intriguing? or straight out odd, polarizing fragrances?
Me personally try to get one out a week want them to have some relevance not into this churning them out just for the sake of it

do they smell like niche ?
i mean expensive ?
@@BlokeBritish definitely
They only have 15 now. All others are discontinued sadly . I own 10
How did you get them to ship to the uk?
im usually fond of zesty green masculine scents.
if i had to blind buy 1 of these wich 1 wd u suggest.
im guessing st julep ?

@@calliope720 thanks man. do u know of any other niche quality house which has this zesty green sparkling scent ?
and proper masculine
City on fire is an absolute masterpiece. Pretty much unwearable 🤣 but a work of art non the less.
Yes very artistic but a difficult wear. Good for a BBQ maybe 😜
It’s horrible . Why would anyone wanna smell like a burning body? Imho it’s the worst of the line. Worst!
