I loved speed week at Charlotte, had drivers signing autographs at Charlotte knights stadium, then a big festival and concerts all week long, loved it. Needs to come back.

Yes what happened?
Early in the race (15 mins or so in roughly..) Harvick and Bowyer had an exchange that seemed a little more heated than just normal banter. Bowyer mentioned Harvick cutting him off and Harvick replied he thought he was hungover.
@@dwoodward931oh yeah I thought I sensed some tension which is unfortunate because bowyer and Kevin could be a great team but unfortunately Clint is worried for his job which I understand because the fans who hated DW (that now miss him) also hate Dale jr hate jeff Burton hates Mike joy who hates Rick Allen and hates Steve latart. The only one I see them not hating on is Larry who I think is just obnoxious throwing in random old guy phrases that have been said to death. NASCAR fans are the worst they complain about everything from announcer to the tracks nascar fans cried about short tracks nascar gave us LA and north wilks. The fans complain about everything and if you read into the comments they will kill your momentum. Unless you are chase Elliot the fans hate you. If Denny won Texas you can bet the fans would be demanding they never race there again like Bristol which was one of the best races ever in the next gen. I couldn’t imagine watching nascar and rooting for chase. Sounds painfully boring.

You 100% will get a worse product with the Cup drivers in those cars, period, end of sentence. Xfinity has the same issues as Cup in terms of the tire. Martinsville was becoming a parade until guys made mistakes, Texas same thing, etc.
You get the product in that series that you do because the talent level from top to bottom is similar to how it was structured in Cup in the late 80's/early 90's. Top tier drivers and guys that simply don't belong in the cars. You get TONs of mistakes in that series that the Cup drivers simply will not make. That was evident at the end of the Gen6 era.
This idea that just putting 950HP in an Xfinity car and making that the Cup car would fix every thing is idiocy.

@@rynosraceroom66 the 14 year stretch of 2008-2021 disagrees with your disagreement. Remember that the current Xfinity car is the Xfinity COT that debuted in 2010. That chassis was based on the Cup COT which was only slightly modified when it became the Gen 6. Stages are a product of the series feeling the need to throw the phantom debris cautions. It wouldn't change anything.
The tin foil on the bunny ears does wonders. Also so does taking them out of the stand

Sieg did run Meyer into the fence. It stopped Sieg's momentum.
when this car hits a big bump the rear defuser comes off the ground and it looses a ton of down-force. Like down-force is turned off for a split second and shes spinning.
It works with Indycar but there's a huge weight differential there. I wish they would just lessen the width in the rear of the car, and make the cars a lot less smooth underneath.
It is called aero wash. It is loss of downforce on one section, or too much to the front than the rear and causes loss of grip to the rear spoiler and tires.

@ethanweeter2732 Definitely. They're not open wheel cars. Horsepower and tires can effect races, but the cars themselves need to be less aero dependant. The splitter was bad enough, but the diffuser is just putting salt on the wound. That thick ass rear clip doesn't help.
Just remember, if you want to stay out and try to play some strategy and catch people a lap down, ask yourself one question, is John Hunter Nemecheck in this race? Because if he is, there’s gonna be a caution.

Great show y’all. Just wondering why the track owners don’t provide the spotters a decent area to call the race. They do it for the guys in the booth. Nice AC and out of the environment. SAVE OUR SPOTTERS
I got a package deal for the Richmond August Truck and Cup race, same seat for two races for 95$
That race had everything. Lead changes exciting restarts. Drama wild finish.

Aero blocking is getting out of hand. I thought this car was gonna take the aero advantage way but it seems that it’s intensified it.
I don’t want to see identical cars. I want to see strategy in the garage Monday thru Thursday, strategy Friday thru Sunday at the race track, and drivers who can put smart their opponents by saving their tires or using them early

IA is a fun track. Easy to sell out when no other NASCAR races in the region & a lot of race fans, mostly going to dirt. closest to Minneapolis and that’s still at least 7 hours away by car. Xfinity always sold out and Indy. Going to be a big Sammy Smith party for TMC workers
Fixing Texas is easy and cheap. Get some asphalt grinders in there grind up all the asphalt and get rid of it. Take it down to bare dirt then bring in some clay put down top of the bear dirt and there you go. The world's biggest baddest dirt track. Think of all the world of outlaw cars on a mile and a half track. Yeah that is what Texas should do the biggest baddest dirt track ever made.
Real talk though it didn’t matter what was in Elliot’s car it wasn’t failing tech, they could’ve thrown the hood open and found a V10 and wouldn’t have said shit

Man the further into the episode it seems like you guys have a narrative against Ross. One would think people with your guys experience in racing could see that Ross was just making the corner on the top and Byron was coming off the bottom and ran him over.

Ross didn't come down, he was in the second or third groove, the flow of turn two made it look like he was coming down on Byron's in-car video because Byron was coming from the bottom groove. If Ross didn't do what he did he would've hit the wall. Ross does use aero blocking to his advantage but that wasn't it. But hey might as well continue on the Ross hate train. I hope he pays Byron back at a key moment later in the season.

Get the tire right and you'll get a good race.
My problem with Jimmie is that he was never that franchise driver. Once they lost the data from the 24 that Jeff was providing, HMS and Jimmie both lost their way. So anything he does from this point on will be a struggle and embarrassing compared to his highs with HMS
In hindsight, Jimmie was always somewhat talented, but never really special. He had some success in off-road racing but not a world-beater. Not very successful in Busch cars. He races for the best team in NASCAR with an all-time great crew chief who has admitted to gaming the Chase format and been caught cheating numerous times. Then nothing without Chad, nothing in Indy cars and now looks lost in cup. His only world class success came with Chad, nothing before, nothing after. He’s pretty good, but not Earnhardt, Gordon, Stewart, Busch, Larson kind of good.
We need as many cup races on antenna TV as possible. Im really worried about the cable carousel next year for cup.

The fact that chase won is the only reason people are okay with this awful race. It’s like they forgot how good the xfinity race was and think the cup race was great. It was so bad especially compared to xfinity. Xfinity has been awesome I wish cup drivers would drive those cars instead.
