- HobbyWars - DREAM BIG! Maiden Flight of World Record RC paper airplane MODEL. This 140 inch model is twice as big as my first RC paper airplane. It is an exact 12 scale "model" of a classic "dart" made from a sheet of typing paper.

omg, if only you could make it a little bigger, and a little more powerful, then add a small cockpit, and contolls in there, and also have an eject buttom/parachute. Then any child's dream would come true!

I always made my paper airplanes at school with a single sheet of typing paper, remote control flaps and ailerons, and powerful battery motors. Teacher never knew who kept throwing them when her back was turned.

There's nothing in the description that proves that it is paper. It says it is a model based on a paper plane. And I agree with TechMed21; it does appear to be plastic, not paper.

Its cardboard which is a type of paper. If you actually bother to read the description though this is a "model" that is 12x scaled up from a normal-paper airplane in the classic dart shape which would be made from a sheet of typing paper.
So yea, it is paper. But more to the point the claim is that this is a larger scale model of a normal-paper dart airplane, it just happens to be made from cardboard.
