WILL THE TURBO 4K SURVIVE XMAS BASH?

We had 3 weeks to turbo the 4K motor in our little KE70 and make it to the ‪@OvertakingLane‬ & Addictive Event XMAS BASH Event - 1/8 Mile Drag Racing.
Will it make it through the day and how much can we improve the N/A 1/8mile PB time of 11.23 by?

How have i not found this vid yet, I've built a fairly basic 7k that has a 2mm skimmed head, a set of 40mm dellortos and a good size 240 degree@0.050" "H29"cam from kennelly cams NZ with heavier valve springs and it happily makes 112 hp and 140lbs to the rollers. Would be interesting to see it with the stock low compression head, EFI and some boost.

Clutches have always been a bit of a problem with my turbo K's. Anything 180mm has only ever lasted to about 100rwkw. If you can find yourself a HYDRO a K-T bell housing (won't work with cable K-T) then you can run an AE71 / T18 200mm clutch kit (re-drilling of flywheel required) which makes a world of difference. I now run a T18 Exedy HDCB and it holds 179rwkw ;)

Was making just over 100HP at the hubs, but it was driving through the clutch very quickly on the dyno.
