i wished they dove deeper into the patophysiology of functional dyspepsia
such as, what went wrong in the gut brain axis, does autonomic nervous system play a role in it and so on..

THIS! It's unfortunate that there's rarely given a real answer as to WHY this happens.
I was diagnosed with FD over a year and a half ago and am currently in recovery after almost losing my life. Maybe one day there will be more details surrounding it.

Search studies on it online. Good research incl maybe role of interstitial cells of Cajal (ICCs) - pacemakers that regulate gi motility - deficiency or dysfunction. Always DYOR and don’t rely solely on others to.

Maybe I could be this man however, since GB removed I dont eat lots of fiber. I have contant severe pain every day 2 yrs. All test comes back normal from GI. I wish you were in AR
