I absolutely love the female lead. It is the third costume drama I see with Yao Yuchen. Her acting is great, perfect for her role. Hope to see her more.

FINALLY!! A FL who does NOT just accept whatever humiliation/abuse/torture sent her way and says thank you to the abuser. I am so DONE with those dramas/movies. Now I always go to the comments to see whether there's a good ending (FL walks away & is happy alone or with someone else) or a bad one (takes jerk ex back). If the latter, I bail.
The FL did excellent in this drama. The ML was the strong, silent type. And he was logical. No love brain taken over him! The kissing scenes were very sweet to passionate❤.
FL is not so beautiful but good in acting. Smart and strong FL. I have seen another version of this. This is quite good. ML is good looking. Grandma is really neat and looks so elegant. She probably looked more beautiful in her early glory days. Good that FL's parents are supportive of her. The 2nd and 3rd FL are more beautiful than the FL for me. Even the Princess maid is beautiful. 2:13:41 Now I know it's a studio. Look at the blue screen above. There's also lights there.
