I would rather have the open ending where we don’t have to see her go back to the asshole male lead who neglected and abused her and who apparently never holds the evil mistress accountable for anything. I was glad to see that even though this male lead got stabbed trying to save her that she didn’t sit by his bedside and automatically forgive him but instead left him in the hospital and went abroad to complete her degree! 🎉🎉
For someone who keeps fainting a lot and bleeds a lot it amazes me that the hospital let the patient be discharged the next day. If I was a doctor and I saw a patient that keeps fainting I would not let the patient be discharged till I found a diagnosis for their fainting.
I kept looking between the husband and the ex and had to laugh. I was like a young teenager going up to a 30-yr old. But I'm glad she held to her boundaries. Any man that thinks there's value in keeping around a woman that thoroughly irritates his SO is a fool.
The good part is that in the last five minutes, even though he gets stabbed, trying to save her, she doesn’t automatically forgive him, she doesn’t sit by his bedside in the hospital, instead she leaves him alone and goes abroad to complete her university degree! That’s a pretty great ending for most of these dramas. And they leave the ending open enough that we don’t have to see her go back to this abusive male lead. 🎉

This is yet another version of the “My Fiancé Chose his White Moonlight over Me Again and Again, So I Left for Good”-story with good actors and a storyline that is more extensive than most versions. I liked this sweet/caring FL. Well, I’m a bit conflicted about this one, mostly because of the ending that is different from most versions. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! After being saved by him 7 years earlier, FL has been wanting to marry ML. Finally they have their engagement party and he is about to put the ring on her when his “White Moonlight” (2FL) fakes a fainting and disrupts the ceremony. Much to FL’s disappointment, ML chose to cancel the ceremony and take 2FL to the hospital. This has FL wake up and regret giving up on everything to be with him, including her education and a chance to study abroad, making her Professor/master cut ties with her. So, FL finally decides to give up on him and start living for herself. So, she throws away the engagement ring, texts him to break up, blocks him and leaves the venue saying to his brother that she won’t marry ML in this life. A video that soon reaches ML, who can’t imagine that the woman who followed him as a dog the last 7 years is capable of leaving. Boy, is he in for a surprise when he a couple of days later returns to an empty house. FL goes back to school, attempting to restart her painting career. There she meets her male classmate - who has been secretly in love with her for years. He asks her to marry him in order to bring back and adopt the child of a close mutual female classmate who died abroad. For that he needs to be married. FL quickly agrees, expecting to divorce after the child is settled. Well, not spoiling too much, this has an open ending.
Why do some of the comments state that FL didn’t go back to ML in the end? Sure, she still went on with her dream to study art in Paris but the ending is still an ambiguous one where FL has yet to make her choice. I hate how 2FL is “punished” too. As one commenter rightly said, the real winner in this drama is 2FL. She did all the bad things her cohort got punished yet all she got is to be sent away to another country with her doctor friend, and ML even promised to send them money regularly!! WHAT IS THIS BS?!?!?! This drama is a waste of time. The other version with Karong (卡戎） is much better.

The ML usage doesn't make sense. The FL risked her life by getting the stab wounds for ML, and she ended up in the hospital. But yet, after that, his so-called sister's bro did the same thing but lost his life, and yet she's his beck n calls in everything that destroyed his relationship with the FL. When she finally realized that he never really cared or loved, she parted ways peacefully, but he kept stalking her. Make up your mind, dude. On top of that, there is no punishment or retribution towards his mistress or other villains.

The ML usage doesn't make sense. The FL risked her life by getting the stab wounds for ML, and she ended up in the hospital. But yet, after that, his so-called sister's bro did the same thing but lost his life, and yet she's his beck n calls in everything that destroyed his relationship with the FL. When she finally realized that he never really cared or loved, she parted ways peacefully, but he kept stalking her.
Make up your mind, dude. On top of that, there is no punishment or retribution towards his mistress or other villains.

The ex was the ML of this drama which is not very enjoyable to me tbh… she left and got married but always saw her husband more as a good friend and while I don’t mind that to be the start it was still the same until the end.. every time the ex showed even a bit of regret or affection she almost gives in
She let him drag her around and take her wherever he wanted without resisting and he even kissed her a couple of times and while that alone is pretty annoying what’s more infuriating is that HER HUSBAND WAS THERE AND HE JUST WATCHED? the weakest husband in all C-dramas
Also no intimate scenes between her and her husband.. it was all with the ex
Oh and they never showed the child??? I do get paperwork takes time but just meeting the child or a video call would do

In the newer versions FL leaves the ML at the end🤔. ML finds out that the 2nd FL has played him for a fool, which he is, for many years🤔
It’s an easy skip unless you’re into a successful businessman who’s as dumb as a flea and easy to manipulate😳. I basically skipped the entire 🎥 and he’s still had no growth…kidnapping scene was a waste of resources🫣
