Yeah. I hate these storylines where men are intentionally horrible to their wives and then magically “realize they love them” 😂😂😂. Ridiculous! At best, he missed her being a combination housekeeper, personal assistant, cook, and personal sex worker for him. 1:29:51 even the sister is law decided to randomly say out of the blue “he fell in love with you 4 years ago”. Why would she think that? Because he was cold and neglectful to her right up the end of their contract marriage ? And then he has grandpa try to convince her to get back with him. It’s like the family is collectively gaslighting her telling her that what she directly experienced isn’t the truth but rather he actually loved her the whole time he was treating her like crap. It’s messed up. And notice how HE hasn’t bothered to apologize or admit his wrongs or even say that he loves her. He is a Coward. I guess he doesn’t think she is worth an apology. Or he hasn’t once considered her feelings. Instead he just thinks he can use the kids as a tool to coerce her into getting back with him. He proposes marriage again - but has not acknowledged how the complete failure of his marriage and her horrible experiences over 3 years were HIS fault. Without that admission and understanding-and some promise that he is different-why would she want to get trapped in a horrible loveless marriage again? What’s in it for her? Go back to a life where she does all of the work in the family, supporting him and getting crumbs of care from him and zero respect? 😂😂😂 So; with no honesty or apology from him, now he gets two beautiful children after he forced her to take birth control each time they had sex? How wonderful for him to get a perfect happy ending. And how sad for her that she couldn’t get a better ending with someone who actually respected and loved her and admitted his wrongs and changed. (And memory loss is the cheap cop out) Ps. Him sleeping with her when she was drunk was gross and showed a complete lack of respect for her. He took advantage and then acted like that was expected and completely normal. Disgusting.
I particularly hate when they have the FL crying for the male lead who hasn’t bothered to ever apologize or take accountability or atone for his prior actions. She’s sobbing because he is missing… But we never got any of HIM sobbing because he lost her. She’s begging him not to leave her-and he never once begged her. He was an arrogant man who belittled and demeaned his wife for 3 years of marriage while she waited on him hand and foot, forced her to take birth control when he slept with her (like she was some sort of sex worker and not his wife), unilaterally decided to divorce her at 3 years … and now he wants her to beg him to take her back?! 😂😂😂 pathetic storyline that can only be written by a misogynist show thinks women deserve no respect or dignity.

Finally. Feedback from someone who actually WATCHED the drama properly. Too many comments on here make no sense now that I've actually watched the drama. YES the ML had a lot of faults. He made a lot of mistakes and had a lot of growing up and self-reflection to do but he wasn't a bad man. He also wasn't the only one at fault in their relationship. She never opened her damn mouth while they were still married and never asked him about things that happened between them to get any clarification. She always assumed what he felt or assumed his reasons for doing the things he did. She never asked and she also always believed every single thing that SFL said, even after she came back. That on HER, not him. He didn't think to explain anything about the SFL because the entire time he had no clue that the FL thought the relationship he had the SFL was what she did. He never knew about the tricks the SFL played or the things the SFL said to the FL, so how would the ML know the depth of her misunderstanding about his relationship with that woman? If people would pay attention to the story he thought he'd made it clear enough in front of her more than once because, as far as he knew, there was nothing more to be explained about what was going on between them. Remember, the SFL was pretending to be more than what she was in front of the FL all along! She only did it in front of the FL, when he wasn't around!

Someone on here commented that the whole reason she got back together with him was because of the amnesia and that it was used as a cop out. That's very inaccurate. They had already almost fully reconciled before he left to go to that other country. She was supposed to answer him about his new marriage proposal when he returned. The only reason she continued to hesitate was because she was worried he wasn't actually in love with her and was marrying her for the sake of the kids. She only wanted to marry him again if it was for love. Watch the drama properly before you go on here ranting and misleading others. If you do rant, at least explain that you only skimmed the drama and didn't watch it carefully so that those reading your comments know that there may be more to the story than the bits and pieces you've seen, that you chose to use as the basis for you opinion.

In this drama misunderstandings were caused by BOTH leads. The ML was worse but he was never a bad-intentioned, mean and cruel person. His personality and behavior became very apparent as the drama developed. He wasn't a bad guy. He just had lots of...issues. But the FL did too. She made LOTS of assumptions. Not all of their misunderstandings were on him. Actually, almost have of it was her! They also clearly had real feelings for one another all along. They just had horrible communication throughout.

I haven't finished this yet (I'm at 1:15:22) but the ML isn't anywhere near as bad as a lot of the other ML's in many of these c-dramas, or as bad as he's been made out to be in many of the comments on here. Yes, he was neglectful, sometimes mean, selfish, and ignorant towards the FL. He's also very prideful, immature, and doesn't like to admit when he's wrong or has made a mistake. He speaks harshly when he's angry or jealous and says things he clearly doesn't mean. A lot of his hurtful actions towards the FL were unintentional - he's inconsiderate and doesn't even realize it a lot of the time - and a lot of it was the SFL's lies and interference. A lot of his behavior seems to be misconstrued. He was also so obsessed with figuring out the truth about his parents that he, often unintentionally, hurt and neglected the FL. Even when she went into labor and wasn't there for her - he didn't even know she was pregnant! When she called him the SFL answered the phone and pretended he was cheating with her. The birth control thing was rude as hell but on the flip side, if he knew they were getting divorced, of course he wouldn't want to have kids. Now, he shouldn't be having sex with her then either though - just saying - but I can at least understand why, in his mind, he thought he was looking out for her, not being mean and hurtful. Honestly, from what I've seen his biggest issues are 1) horrible communication skills, 2) his pride and immaturity, and 3) he doesn't think things through before he speaks. It's also why he doesn't realize how much he's actually hurt her or how much damage he actually caused to their relationship. He's thinking about one thing when he says something, assuming his intention is self-explanatory. She's taking it a completely different way from how it's intended, based on the precedent he set when they first got married. His initial blatant dislike of her (his misunderstanding her intentions behind marrying him in the first place) set the tone for what she expected from him, but then when he started softening towards her over time he never communicated that to her. He also didn't know how to be tender or show care, so his gruff approach was often misunderstood and misconstrued. This is shown to be happening even before the divorce too. So it wasn't only after she left that he realized he cared for her. It seems to have happened over the course of their marriage. However, she never knew. In fact, I'm not even sure HE realized how much he'd actually started to care for her before she left, but it was shown in some of his misconstrued actions in the flashbacks. We see how it would be taken from her point of view (hurtful and harsh), but when you pay attention to his current behavior and playback those scenes from his perspective, you realize he actually did care about her but 1) didn't fully acknowledge it (and maybe didn't even want to, because then he'd have to admit he had been wrong about her), and 2) didn't know how to express it. Then, when she wouldn't reciprocate his care he, like a spurned child, felt rejected and kept telling himself she didn't really like him anyway, not understanding that it was his own inability to communicate (and his pride) that was pushing her further away. Watching this, I'm getting a very different understanding of the ML than I did from reading the comments. I'm actually glad I went ahead and watched this one anyway.
ALSO! The FL always falls for every single one of the SFL tricks and believes everything she says and doesn't without even asking the ML about it so that he has an opportunity to set the record straight. She makes lots of assumptions as well. So she's very much at fault too.
