This was priceless. As a woman i crave a man who is doing the work just as i am, and whom i can admire and be fully open with. I love the idea of worshipping a man for his commitment to self-awareness. Ride or die! Surrendering speaks to my soul, and no, it's not to be confused with submission for they're completely different things.

Surrender and worship goes both ways. A mutual surrendering of the heart from the basis of trust. When this happens, the women naturally feel protected, and the men feel supported and nurtured. Men also need to learn how to yield to a woman’s innate wisdom. This is when you truly get a power couple.

What's helpful to me that John Wineland points out is that it's helpful for a man to regulate his feminine as well as his masculine. He goes much deeper in helping men to me.

Thank you guys for vocalizing how many of us feel. As a self-aware man "doing the work", my heart is longing to be met in the totality of my depth and honoured for all parts of my being; that includes full spectrum emotional.

This came right to mind for my own desires in self and partnership… these archetypes.
Queen of cups with a heavy dose of Queen of wands. Water and fire. (Devoted love and passion energy)
King of pentacles and King of swords, earth & air (grounded awareness and consciousness)
    Feminine/masculine internal balance.
I can see how I have teetered on devotion.
I see how I have held that expectation of “earn my devotion”.
    Thin line.
For my own accountability, I will open for love.
    Love the truth shared here.
    Thank you

What a breath of fresh air, seriously.
I’m so tired of the sexes battling it out,one against the other.
This gave me greater understanding towards my husband, and I know the things you speak of are the aspects my husband loves to see shine forth from me.
    10/10 for this…..thank you!

This resonates so deeply with me and how I desire to show up as an embodied feminine. All I want is to create a beautiful space to nurture and grow with another. It can feel so discouraging to feel like there aren’t men longing for that deep, sacred connection and devotion. Thank you so much for this, it was so timely.

Thank you for this conversation. I've received SO much healing with the Masculine from John's teachings. Conversations like this--and being in his containers and teacher training program looking into the eyes of so many good men seeing the truth of this information, have been absolutely profound in my own process of forgiving, healing, and expanding my heart. John has the special gift of revealing men's hearts to women (and vice versa). Seeing the depth of men's hearts, and understanding more about what they need, how they hurt, and what they crave has deepened my compassion, my love, and my ability to relate to, teach, love, and appreciate men. I really enjoyed this conversation with Stefanos and getting to see this topic as a profound conversation between brothers. Thank you, thank you!

I loved this episode! I believe men equate ‘emotionally safety’ as emotional freedom.
Men need to feel free in order to feel safe.
I believe it’s the opposite for most women; we need to feel safe in order to feel free.
You guys sharing on this is empowering for both men and women. Thanks for your vulnerability and transparency. I gleaned some useful insight from your candid reflection.

Loved your conversation! Especially the part when you shared you don't want to be mothered by your wives when opening up and sharing. My 2 cents worth is simple - we all (all) would benefit with learning good listening skills. Good listening skills also include recognizing our own stuff coming up (including a woman reacting in a mothering fashion) and allowing that to fade into the back ground. A good listener is just that - one who listens without judgement or the need to speak unless asked to do so.

Food for thought, it is an inside job for men and women. Give self what is wanted from others. Unconditional love for self. At this point one is capable of extending to others.
I appreciate hearing this conversation. Men growing in consciousness. Appreciate the honesty and courage of vulnerability that was expressed in this conversation. Happy to witness evolution is occurring. 🙏
    It is a process.

Interesting conversation, thank you. I'm working on rebuilding a relationshi with my man. I carry a deep inter-generational betrayal, rejection and abandonment wound and find it very hard to trust men. He carries rejection and smothering wounds that make him tend to close up and become overtly independent and defensive. Luckily we are both aware of our wounds and we want to work on them.

I cannot be devotional to the man you could be. When I fall in love with a man’s potential, and the man never progresses and never grows, and I stay and stay and pour in my heart and soul and give understanding and compassion and patience, he gains everything and grows in success with my support, and I lose time, opportunity. I wasted my entire 20s not thinking of my fertility declining over all those years. My love was so loyal, so unconditional. And I destroyed myself. So tell me, when should a woman pick up and walk away? Because I’m not the only good woman that has happened to. Set a time limit for us. When should a woman realize that the potential for greatness will never come to fruition? Because you guys have unlimited time. Women have 15-20 years. It’s very different.

Thank you for saying this. In my eyes its a practical aspect of this kind of healing and empowerment between men and women thats not talked about. Im deeply aware of the fact that I can't be asking for devotion from my partner perpetually without coming to meet her along the way, it genuinely scares me out of relationships that could otherwise be really beautiful.
What would a realistic timeframe be, in your mind? What are the steps that you might look for in a relationship? Should it be age 30? Should it be a matter of milestones along the way?
Im curious what would feel realistic to you

"or fathers that don't protect them from their mothers"... oof. Yep. Taking a pause and breath there. I have become a new woman over the last 11 years through immense, intensive work with the most incredible, high-level teachers. Everything has changed, even though the journey is never ending. Recently, it has come down to working on this very piece. Playing the wild, layered game of mothering myself, healing the father wound/my inner masculine, and wanting to align with meeting a partner who IS that protector... but being OKAY when he shows some weakness there. Finding a partner isn't my priority at the moment though, which has been nice. I feel that missing piece so powerfully... but i'm learning to be with that longing and love it too.

If a man has wounds, I listen, I’ve had to learn to just let them share and to stand by their side without trying to fix things for them. I’m not afraid of being their mom, but I can be afraid of hurting their egos. I think you guys are doing great work, I definitely see all these challenges that you point out. There’s a very big problem in society currently where women spout the feminism thing where they want to call the shots on everything, but still expect a man to serve them and provide all monetary benefits. This type of woman is a huge red flag that screams “user” and “selfish”. A woman must bring more to the table than s*x. They still think that’s such a valuable commodity but it isn’t. And men refusing to marry them is absolutely justified and warranted. If a woman wants a man to care for her and shield her, in a way that only men can, she needs to bring the feminine. The worship, adoration, compassion, and comfort.

    Great video.
Is it weird to crave a beautifully broken man, that has put himself back together. So they understand me on a deeper level.
Cracked open to allow the light in.
Like Japanese Kintsugi pottery put back together with golden seams to enhance the beauty of once being broken. Verse never been broken at all….

    • @tuhisen
      @tuhisen Месяц назад

It's not weird at all. It completely aligns with the need to be seen and fully met - in the underworld, as they said. If only one partner is willing to go deep, it's probably not going to work out long-term. "Willing" being a key word.

Me being a guy and me coming from a guy that has cheated, my father. I'm noticing a lot of men not admiring their women and trying to go on to the next woman as if the next one's going to be better than the last one. I do believe and hold to my heart that admiring your woman is what makes you stay together longer than just love. ♥️⚓👍💎🙏☯️

Thanks for the great insights!!!❤ For women to get there she really needs to be connected to her feminine and that happens when she is self aware emotionally mature but has a man that she can trust and feel safe with. Women are agreeable by nature but without a true leader makes it hard to follow the man. Let’s go back to our innate natural roles and all this is possible!!😊

I don’t think dialogue about masculine and feminine coming back into balance is complete or really even fair without addressing the current colonial and extreme sexist attitudes that exist in this world. Your corner of California might be a comfortable bubble, what about our collective and how that might affect us as individuals?
