The art and design elements on this ship are unbeatable! I was on in feb 2020 for my first cruise and LOVED all the monet, renoir, and just pretty art all over the ship!

This she has very sentimental and nostalgic meaning to me. My husband and I were on it for our honeymoon in April 2010. It was his first cruise and my third. I would love to cruise on it again and maybe even stay in the same room. I believe we were on deck one or two and we had a port hole Room. Loved it so much!! I really enjoy the smaller ships so much more.
We love the smaller ships more than the large ones. Conquest was a great trip for sure. I hope you get back on her sometime soon!

Went on the Conquest in April 2022 on solo cruise and loved it, met bunch of people still talk to and friends today, I will be on it again next Friday the 26th for memorial day weekend to Bimini and am so excited. Ive been on multiple ships and yes this is little smaller and older, but i still have just as much fun as the newer ships!! ❤

We were on the conquest February of 2023. I am a big carnival fan but haven't been on or seen the inside of a conquest class ship since 2011 when we went on the Valor and we enjoyed the Valor at that time. The conquest was enjoyable too but noticeably dated and needing some updates. In several areas such as elevator areas, deck 2 hallways and stairways we found carpet coming apart and curling away from the wall, one set of the sliding glass doors on deck 10 was cracked, and the elevators were unusually slow and often would not even respond to being called. I would still cruise on it again if the fare was significantly cheaper than vista class ships, but it really needs some updating. But to be fair, it is the cheapest ship you can cruise on in carnivals fleet at the moment, and still offers a lot of bang for your buck. I wouldn't hesitate to book several short conquest class cruises today if they would update them with some of the modern features we've come to expect in the last decade of newer ships being released and refitted, but until then the conquest class wins me over strictly due to its cheap price for 3 and 4 day cruises.
It would really nice to see this ship have some more updates, I like some of the decor and the fact it has shorter sailings. Sorry your experience was less than optimal, hopefully they make some updates! Thank you for your comment!
It was just updated. They spent almost a million I believe. I’m excited to see the refurbished ship.
@@trinettelovett it was sent in to be refreshed in 2022, before we went on it this year, my opinion on it is based on it after that time and money was spent on it in 2022. It was not upgraded at all, just given the new carnival livery and regular interior/mechanical maintenance performed.
A proper refit would be nice to see on it but it is an old ship that only does short cheap sailings, so it likely won't ever happen.
This was my first cruise I'm 15 It wasn't amazing I'd prefer Royal Caribbean but it was still super fun and literally best week of my entire life I made so many new friends and ate so much food and unlimited ice cream

I've been on the Conquest twice and soon I'll be on my third time. I love this ship not just because it's pretty, it's because it works: the crew in general is pretty easy going, the cabin stewards are great, the cooking staff are pretty good too and performers are great! and the best of all is the ship's cruise director: Stefan!!!! Chao chao!.

This boat was my first cruise. Feb 27-March 3rd. My room was 9229. Had a very good time. Even on the last day, I was discovering new places to go and see.

This ship is perfect to test the waters of Carnival, there's plenty of short 3-4 day cruises that are very affordable, I'm sure you will have a good time on most Carnival ships, I've yet to have a bad 1 besides its a cruise vacation and a bad day cruising is better than a day stuck working!! 😀

Thanks!! I personally never saw a sigh for adults only and never saw kids back there only the main pool, so not sure seems it was adults only for a while and they removed that restriction, maybe not enforcing like they would in Serenity. Have a lovely cruise!!
Serenity and bars are usually the only adult only areas. If you go on a bigger ship like Horizon I know they have private pools for some suite guests like the Havana deck which is reserved for only Havana suite guests so those would probably have less guests since most families would probably go for cheaper rooms to save money.

We've kind of gone the other way. Lots of NCL and Carnival, and now we've just started sailing Royal Caribbean. We like the variety and I hope you end up enjoying your Carnival cruise.

Great tour! I’ve never been on a cruise yet but I’m ready to travel. Does it get hard to get a sundeck chair? Do the pools get crowded? The big theater you showed, how do you get tickets for that or is that part of concierge?
Hi Izzy!! Cruising is great I hope you love it too! 😀 there are many loungers around the ship, the ones by main pool usually fill up so if you don't care to be exactly at the pool you'll be ok, I stayed on ship on one of the port days and had the pool and loungers all to myself practically! We've never had to get tickets to show we just arrive at theater and get a seat. The popular shows I would arrive a little early. Have a great time!

Hey Andrew! It was not terrible. Sea Day was a little busy especially the bar line up there, small bar with one bartender but other than that the covered pod beds were usually mostly full, port day was very empty up there.
Can someone talk about the restaurants? Where's the good food? I dont onky want burgers, tacos and Pizza, wheres the good food?
There is a steakhouse on board. Also a sushi pick up window and a seafood shack to buy food from. The Carnival Deli is on board for that type of offerings. Overall, I would say food quality and offerings is not a strong suit of Conquest.

This is an older ship so don't expect it to be modern..my first time on this particular ship was in Nov & had a blast.. it was a goodtime but the food wasn't my favorite I go again in 2 days..im hoping some food choices @ the buffet have changed some

Is there a charge for the sauna/steam rooms on this ship?
I don't believe so I was able to walk right in, they are located within the gym locker rooms for men and women. However, there is a charge for massage treatments and tooms since that is through the spa

Thanks 😊 I have only sailed NCL and Carnival, we have NYE on the Carnival Sunshine, then next year NCL Encore, Carnival Pride, Allure of the Seas (1st Royal ever), I really want to try more lines, Carnival keeps giving good casino deals on cruises hard to pass up

@@blessedwithchallenges9917 I liked the ship. However, I was in a 3 day Bahamas cruise. It was Labor Day weekend. It was too party for me if I’m being honest. I felt most of the guests were from here in Miami and way too many kids. I enjoyed the nightclub. Great DJ and music but I’m 49 and like to go out dancing and have some drinks. I felt like I was at a party full of frat boys and 21 year old twerkers lol. I was very disappointed and it wasn’t my vibe. Now with that being said, I would go on the conquest again as a ship I would not do a three day Bahama cruise and I definitely would not do Labor Day weekend I think because it was a short cruise. It just attracted a different kind of people, but I would go on them for a longer period of time somewhere else, and probably while the children are in school so that I wouldn’t have to cruise I mean it was a lot of children not just like, you know families I think it was a cheap cruise and it was short and it was on a holiday weekend and here in South Florida. The kids don’t go back to school until after Labor Day so I think it was like the last vacation of the year before the kids went back to school But it just wasn’t my thing and I was glad that it was only three days so that it could be over with and following that like three days after that, I did go on the carnival celebration and that was a nine day cruise to the southern Caribbean and I almost hit out so I wouldn’t have to get off that ship now that was an amazing cruise

Hi Henry! Yes they have a buffet, they have the main food plus a Deli and Mongolian Wok which is delicious! They have a lot of elevators, just the first day it seems like a lot of people but the rest of the week they weren't crowded

I think so for the most part, I don't always do specialty since there are other options that work too
I've done it a few times, I'd say do it once for a night as a special occasion or something along those lines.
How is deck 14 the slide entrance but only adults?
it is the slide entrance open to everyone and a little ways away the adults only area is separated by a wall, not a gate but its just a separate area

I would honestly say buffet is OK, culinary us really nice for diner I like sushi too

They do have designated smoking areas along the sides of the ship on deck 10 and deck 3 also, with chairs and couches to sit on
