You've always made great videos, but I have to say your ship tours are becoming some of the absolute best. You give such a great overview that's thorough, but short and sweet. Lots of creative pop up descriptions, etc. I always enjoy watching them. Well done!!

Mom and dad think sailed this few years ago. Then one mega ships said never do that agin. My wifes dad head on mardi gras from carnival before Christmas.

I went on a cruise in 1998 when I was 7 years old. I googled the ship and was surprised to find out it’s still in action. But now renamed the carnival sunshine.
It’s nothing like how I remember. I was 7 after all and I’m sure it’s been remodeled and updated continuously over the years.
I hadn't been on her before the big change over to Sunshine, but I imagine it looks a lot different!

Pretty amazing how much they fit on a relatively small ship. The restaurants look more cramped and there is only one room for shows/entertainment, but everything seems to be there.

@GulfCoastGirl one problem I do have is not knowing how much or what cloths to pack. I know lots of beach wear and probably shorts and tanks and sandals but beyond that I'm lost
@for-real-countrygirl4192 Definitely don't overpack that's for sure comma there's only so many days, and yes, half the time you're going to be in a bathing suit. But also the rooms are so tiny you really don't want to Bring a huge suitcase. But definitely one nice outfit for 1 of the evening dinners

Hi!! Have a great cruise!! They have kids clubs and do fun activities like build a bear, Dr. Seuss parade, plus splash zone/kids pool. If older kids there's arcade, mini golf too, and teens usually get a hot tub and movie night at least that is what I've noticed in the past!

Awesome! You're trip will be here quick. Thanks for your questions! The pool in serenity is swimmable I did not feel the main pool and there was one coin pusher closer to the casino bar. Have a great time!

In my room I went out on the sunshine December 26 22 we had a balcony and those couches come out as beds

How was the weather in December??? We're planning a family and friends cruise and we haven't cruised this late in the year.
how far is it from downtown? Can I uber? Also, never been to a place like this before. is the cruise ship stays docked or can I do a day trip and would that be enough? Otherwise, what was your interary?
I belive you can uber, but they only do multiple day sailings, like the bahamas and back, 4 day

This one is currently home ported in South Carlina. The Sunrise is in Miami. :)

only one out by the desk, we had to use a power strip to plug in multiple things
@GulfCoastGirl I hear you're not allowed to bring surge protectors. Feeling dumb, but how do you know the difference between a regular power strip and a surge protector
Does the couch pullout or lay down for sleeping?
I am sorry to say we don't know. :( A quick call to your Carnival PVP or the main customer service line might be the only way we can recommend finding out.
Is there just one pool and 2 hot tubs not in the Adult Only Section?
Yes that's correct, no aft pool area like some ships!
do they have electrical outlets near the beds?
No, we had to use outlet at desk with strip to plug things in, they should all have usb at least by the bed on all ships
Ship looks kinda crowded, was it?
It didn't really feel crowded except ept on Embarkation and maybe in the buffet, otherwise it was good
@GulfCoastGirl For buffet I say just don't eat at peak times of all 3 meals since its 24/7! I'm just wondering how the people who work the third shift ever get any sleep during the day With all the people in noise throughout the entire day!

The amount of rust on the outside of this ship last week was mind boggling. I would have been pissed if I would have paid good money to go on that ship.
