This is another cursed KSP video in the style of Danny2462's series where he breaks KSP in every way possible.
In this video: As my ship speeds up, the Mun gets closer to Kerbin.

gotta admit seeing kerbin get further away really made me feel a sense of dread and hopelessness
reminded me of that shot in lord of the rings where the nazgul are on the road and Frodo hears the screaming and the road just s t r e t c h e s out in front of him
@@gearandalthefirst7027 it's called a dolly zoom and it's done by zooming out with a lens while simultaneously getting the camera closer (or the reverse- zooming in while pulling the camera away). It's a pretty common effect.

There is a cool Scott Manley video where he shows how (very NOT) close probes actually were when the made the famous photos. Voyager, New Horizons and stuff.
And yet animations shows them almost touching. I guess, it's easier than to explain that their cameras are basically stuck at the end of a telescope.

Do the same thing, but with kerbin getting closer to the sun. Make it to Laythe to save the Kerbal race. Make it at a set rate though so it's not as buggy. Also make a surface base and get over 100 kerbal there

I'm doing this with Gilly but with ~1444 kerbals. I'm planning on bringing tons of surface bases and orbiting stations and then I will colonize the solar system from Gilly. I'm doing it just to prove how big even the smallest celestial objects really are.
I hope KSP 2 will be just as modable

we didnt need moonfall Roland Emmerich, gameslinx has got us covered.
If you want something really weird, but also breathtakingly beautiful, make it so that Kerbin and Laythe are orbiting REALLY close together... It took a while for me, but eventually, I managed to get an airplane that is able to take off from either Kerbin or Laythe, and land safely on the other one (Landing on Laythe is SUCH a pain though)
How about "KSP but all the planets are a hundred times closer to each other"
