@@v9productionshonestly Drake then verses Drake now he is chasing number ones he broke The Beatles record now I think he is close or broke Micheal Jackson's record for the most number ones so Rapping doesn't seem to be the focus
Statistics is CAP - in todays society Drake comes nowhere near the Micheal Jackson - even in terms of stardom. At no point in history as far as I can remember (born in 1991) did people question or become tired of MJs music to this extent - IT NEVER HAPPENED. But it's happening with Drake because his music doesn't carry as much weight as MJ. That said - I think ppl are giving Drake wayy to much heat for something he was never meant to do. Drake is a PERFORMANCE artist first - he's like Shang Tsung, he can transform into anybody and potray any style almost to perfection (pop, hip hop, gangster trap). He's a reflection a many different musical perspectives in culture - plus everynow and then he delivers solid bars. The flaws of that artistical approach is that the artist can become lost of what their true purpose is, this is why he thinks he's competing with MJ numbers and ect.. most of his music sounds like he's trying to prove something. I believe Drake himself doesn't even know where to settle yet. Kendrick and Cole have found their stride and they've truly transcended Drake at this point - so comparison just isn't fair.
12:59 them receipts were serious. 🤦🏾♂️😂 After listening to the album you can tell that the music is old rehashed repurposed music. He just added features and a few tweaks here and there and dropped it. Ultimately this is Drake’s weakest album. I do not agree with the people y'all comparing Drake to I don't feel he's in the category with J Cole Kanye West Nora Jay Z my thing is to me he's more of a category like a little Wayne or T-Pain pop artists that raps when it comes to Talent that's my opinion because I feel like people try to make people lyricists and they are not in the box or in the same category people like Method Man biggie Nas Scarface Ice Cube Tupac I just hate when people compare certain people with certain people Jay-Z has done songs with Drake I rather listen to Drake when he's featured versus his album I love Aston Martin I feel like he had one of the hottest verses on this song to me is one of his hardest verses Michael Jackson no Tupac no just saying stop comparing people that's not in that category nobody mentions Bill Russell but it says LeBron is the best how you don't mention Kobe before LeBron not because he died but because of Kobe Bryant's success he got his last championship with Shaquille O'Neal just saying stop putting people in certain categories that don't go I know you get my drill

We all know Crank Dat, but I would be lying if I said I’ve listened to that one song more than I have let’s say a album like NWTS. So it also goes to show as you get older, you’ll enjoy the things from your childhood that were more for you as a kid but you’ll probably keep coming back consistently to the things that were more for “adults” as you get older.
@@v9productionshonestly Drake then verses Drake now he is chasing number ones he broke The Beatles record now I think he is close or broke Micheal Jackson's record for the most number ones so Rapping doesn't seem to be the focus
Drake is right Joe has never made it as a rapper he truly doesn't know what works in music and spent years trying to take him down
🤡
Sorry but any "bridge" that Drake(or Ye) lays will not be frequented by me....EVER! .....ya'll can have that! LOL!
I think he knows that which is why he’s so defensive of it, and those of us that listen to music we can all tell. His next project is probably gonna be crazy because of this though.
I would compare Drake to Eminem instead Jay Z actually. Eminem is the only rapper who has sold more than Drake. I mean if you were talking sales then that’s the right comparison
Unpopular opinion: Drake is dried up. He hasn’t had a compelling title since Views.
I don't like drake, but I will rock it in spite of Joe. 🤷🏽☠️💯
Drake did not sound better then the UK drill artist, yall sound foolish lol
How made it public. You can't dictate how a man responds to your open opinion of them. You put shit out there you're begging to attract the flies
The man is havin a mid-life crisis
lets keep it real, he disk the whole podcast sytem mainly best buy not good
Switch which side y'all are on. It's disorienting, especially for new people
Man, Drake just can't win. He been getting pooped on since he came in the game. No matter what he does we say its soft, weak, wrong, young. lol let that man breathe!.
Poor Drake. How will the world keep spinning with drake being bullied?
If you looking for a pastor go to church.
Its been all downhill since 2015.
NWTS & IYRTITL were his peaks.. after that nuthin but half ass efforts. the album with 21 could have been on that level but it fell short.. Joe aint wrong.. this album is terrible
DMX Rip never like Drake for reason
When y’all have Drake’s track record and hits then I will listen to what you have to say. But until then your just hating.
I’m w Drake on this one… bro, who cares what Drake said on a video 15 years ago? This man is putting out some of the most potent music in the game right now. He’s a pop star, he’s not necessarily a rapper anymore.
He’s making music for stadiums, not 50 YO men…
His music ain't potent no more
Not potent anymore. I like Scorpion but even then I didn't like his projects since Take Care. Drake is flourishing in this singles era. I think he gave up trying to be a GOAT. It shows in his music
This might sound crazy, but what if I said that his stuff was really never potent? Because a ghost writer takes away that potency to me. Potently fraudulent
All this is some boolshiit does he have some his on the album
They criticize EVERYTHING Drake does. If a person would step back and look, he's done everything and explored more styles and took more creative risk then any artist. Maybe when he's done, people will realize what we had. And he absolutely BODIED Joe on that post... that was hilarious.
Bruh
Drakes whack. Always has been.
