It is amazing how technical you are, This is my favorite channel for Laptops review. I will definitely get this one specifically, in a couple of years, after seeing what the X elite ones bring in them.
The HP EliteBook x360 1040 G11 business focused laptop seems to have everything going for it. Nice array of ports, beautiful IPS screen, clear webcam and internal mics, excellent long lasting battery life and very impressive quad speaker sound for a Windows machine! Yes it’s expensive but as Andrew states many times, companies buy in bulk and whether the laptop is from HP, Dell or Lenovo, they do provide extra discounts! While more and more companies are now providing soldered RAM, at least it’s the faster RAM which is a good thing. In conclusion, this is an outstanding offering from HP which should be highly considered!! Brilliant review Andrew!! 👍😁
Nice business laptop. Nice design and excellent keyboard layout for a 14 in unit. Camera and mics are good. Speakers sounded good. Remember several years ago most of these manufacturers equipped their units with mediocre 720p cameras and now just about all have 1080p or better cameras with more users affects. It is nice to see that manufacturers are starting to improve the speakers and overall sound of these units. Excellent review.
Please can you focus more on the fan noise? What does "the fan noise wasn't an issue at all" at 19:00 mean? Do the fans run during intensive Web browsing? After which time, how long and loud are they spinning up during everyday tasks like Windows updates? Thanks a lot for all your work!
The hot spots being measured seems located at the latice of the KB area which is not frequently touched and the hot spot at the other side of the system which is shown directly through the venting where is not at the bottom chassis.
This looks really interesting to me. I'm looking for a 2-in-1 that also works well as a business laptop. I'm also interested in the ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 that is mentioned, looking forward for that review. However then there is the new generation of processors coming. Is it worth upgrading now, or shuold I hold out until a 2-in-1 with one of them is released 🤔
Businesses will buy this for less than $3k. You can even get these at discounted prices. Laptops are depreciating assets. Even a MacBook will have a similar depreciation after 4-5 years
Industrial design is looking excellent quite on par with MacBook Air. Hoping for new HP zbook Studio x360 / zbook Studio x2 detachable. If they ever gonna release 😢😢😢
It would be total insanity to buy this or any other x86 machine just weeks before the windows ecosystem changes forever with the introduction of the new ARM machines.
60 Hz for $3k btw 400 nits for $3k btw TLC(lmao) M.2 SDD for $3k btw 16GB of unupgradable RAM for $3k btw no wifi 7 for $3k btw This is just laughable, companies think that can throw in whatever parts they would usually do, call it "business" and charge 3 times as much as they usually do. Yeah, great choice
Expensive ? This is a bloody rip-off and people say Apple is expensive. You can get a 16/14 inch brand new m3 macbook pro with 1Tb SSD and 32Gb RAM for the same price.
@@ecesign1 yeah but some of their laptops, ive yet to see their actual weight claims with multiple configs. its disappointing when you're promoting the lightest weight and majority of them if not all dont even match it.
@@sandrahildebrand4475 nonsense what? Used hp laptops for 4 years and always got problems with hinges, cracks with supporting plastic, and manufacturing defects like Dell does

Christmas at Andrew's place. When he gets his present: "You know the drill, folks. Let's get THIS out of the box!"

I wish they made some consumer stock for these at lower prices, thanks for the review!
Thanks for posting this video
The hot spots being measured seems located at the latice of the KB area which is not frequently touched and the hot spot at the other side of the system which is shown directly through the venting where is not at the bottom chassis.
And the mic seems being directly contacted to the system where the noise might be transfer through chassis, not air. :)
Thank you for the through review, it is very much appreciated.

Even for a top-end Samsung laptop with a superior CPU and GPU, it is!

The only model i can find similar to this is the G11 x360 but it has the U155H processor and not the U165H processor.

Better than t he air a two in ine touch
@Andrew plz review Thinkpad L16 Gen 1 and Gen 2 Ultra processor variants
Those prices for these units are insane!!
I heard HP removes Envy,Pavilion, and Spectre line.
And replaced by much simpler line like Elitebook and Omnibook
Correct. They are simplifying things.
Its an EliteBook not for broke guys like me 😢😢😢
Great 👌 review.
Hello. Please review HP Zbook Studio16 G10 or G11. Please 🙏

This comment did not age well.
Could this be a IPS black panel?
What is the keytravel???
I have the HP i7 13th Gen 360. AWSOME!!!!!😶
Hey Andrew, I think HP does the same laptop but not in 2 in 1... Please could you do a review ❤
I want it for home use.
With 5g m2 module price up min 300usd

Crazy price from HP. 3000 USD? No thanks
It’s a total loser 🫡
$3K? The price is also elite; that's why it is called EliteBook..
Sorry once I saw 3k I left the video😂
At the beginning I thought you were referring to the display resolution...then I realized💀
For 3k I need a 4k 120hz screen
3000$? Darn with that money I can buy few good laptops
For 3 grand I could buy 3 MacBook airs
craptop for its price and its realization
60hz, really.

Hp's weight claims have been horrible to the actual weight.
weight depends on your configuration.

I do not recommend HP laptops
Nonsense

This would be my dream laptop if the display is 120 Hz 🥲
