So interesting that you and Becca were at the same trip and yet your videos look so different. You have such a unique video editing style. Love you both book girlies.
This is such a lovely blog. I now want to put Thailand on my list of places I want to visit. My top places I want to visit (changes but these are the ones currently in my head): Australia 🇦🇺 (the homeland. Really need to return!) Scandinavia (I just want to see the Northern Lights and experience the hygge of these countries) Madagascar (I’m just intrigued) Italy (I’ve been but I want to return) Scotland (I’ve never been but your videos make want to go!) New York (Broadway is calling to me!) ✈️🐘
So funny, I was just watching one of your older videos patiently waiting for a new upload and then BOOM got the notification. So exciting 🤍🍄 I also love how happy you are when you get back to your flat, I’m the say way- introverts unite lol. I can’t wait to see your new chop- you look amazing in shorter hair too 💇🏻♀️
It’s like you manifested it 😌✨ ahaha I’m such a homebody, if I’m away from home more than 48 hours I start missing it 😂 and thank you! I won’t be going as short as I used to be but anything is shorter compared to its current state 😂
Wow Thailand looks amazing!! If you're looking for a wintery destination for the colder months, Sweden is such a wonderful country to visit for all the wintery magic ❄ I visited last month while it was snowing and it was the best experience 😊
🛩what a trip! Thanks for sharing it so fast! I've been to Thailand once; and the very 1st memory that comes to mind is a visit to the elephant sanctuary 🐘🐘🐘where we fed and bathed these little giants ❤unforgettable 😊
The closest I'm getting to Thailand is this vlog (well and Becca's lol) 😭 #peanutallergyproblems I love the niche differences in this vlog vs Becca's, your video style is so cozy and just so you if that makes sense, it makes me so happy 💕💕💕 All the nature/garden walks are so beautiful 😍😍😍😍 The community aspect of Thailand reminds me of how I felt in Gambia (West Africa) and it really is so beautiful to see human kindness and community value as part of a day to day life! @22:12 I AM MESMORISED BY THAT CREATURE!!! 🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘
Loved this video - totally felt the Zen vibes coming through to me all the way to Michigan in the U.S!!! Love you and your content - started reading Lady of Darkness and loving it so thanks for another great recommendation! ❤❤
Hey Ashleigh … Don’t know if I spelled that right … So sorry if I didn’t! I LOVED this vlog … But I so enjoy all of the work you do! Everything you post is so nice and relaxing. The trip looked fabulous! I wonder what your next adventure will be! I’m home bound and cannot travel, so I appreciate your vlogs from your adventures! You have a way of making it feel like I’m right there with you. I’m reading HOEAB and HOSAB again before reading HOFAS. I’m trying so hard not to get spoiled for it, so I appreciate you not giving spoilers in this video. It’s kind of slow going because I’m trying to annotate the books as I read them this time through. Tonight is a bookish video night. I plan to read tomorrow. Glad you are safely home! Tammy ✈️🐘
Hi Tammy! I hope you’re well 🫶🏻 this means a lot, thank you 🥹 I know my travels are so different to my usual videos so I’m glad you enjoy these too. I hope your annotating of CC is going well, I really want to do the same but can’t bring myself to reread such huge books yet 😂
so glad you enjoyed yourself in Thailand! I went there in 2016 with my family and we had a blast, delicious food, beautiful places, and very kind people
🐘🐘🐘Thanks for sharing your awesome Thailand visit! I love the skirts particularly the elephants. As far as House of Flame and Shadow goes I don’t think I’ll read anymore Crescent City books-the characters are not pulling me in and I’m just not caring about that world anymore. I will read anything more from the ACOTAR series though ✨⛰💫
Such a lovely blog, looks so interesting, a young girl I know just came back from 3 months in `Thailand she travelled alone (I’d never have been brave enough at her age, 19) and she had an amazing time About the community thing, it sounds fantastic but am surprised if you haven’t experienced that in the U.K? Come to South Wales, we are really chatty and friendly down here I also admire you for travelling with a chronic health condition and for such a long way - yoi did amazingly well. I have symptoms of fibromyalgia and I don’t think `I’d be brave enough to go long haul now, am even worried about leaving the U.K. most of the time as the travelling really takes its toll - happy to go to Cornwall now, and even then the preparation and travelling are difficult. Well people don’t understand how hard it is - even friends don’t get it if you need to rest and take it easy sometimes so yes, very well done to you - that’s such an achievement and I am glad you all had such a good time x
So random, but did you end up staying at the Sofitel in Heathrow? I’ve stayed there a couple of times and loved the vibe of it (but even more so, the convenience of it). It looks like you had a great time in Thailand!
So interesting that you and Becca were at the same trip and yet your videos look so different. You have such a unique video editing style. Love you both book girlies.
Thank you!! I always find it fun to see the differences too, it’s funny seeing how things are viewed differently!
Aww loved this! Thank you for an amazing trip Ashleigh ❤

A tip for your crochet bag - if you have a plain coloured tote you can put it inside as a liner of sorts 💜
Omg that’s genius
@@AFrolicThroughFiction and it would stretch less if you use a liner ! Crochet bags tend to stretch at the bottom
Thank you sharing your Holiday. It was a great way to experience some of that with you all. Beautiful Country

Beautiful footage of your trip! Beautiful rose bag! We will be taking a cruise along the coast of Norway this summer!
Omg that sounds so dreamy, I’d love to visit Norway

✈🐘 I love how you showed the scenery and vibes of Thailand. It's so beautiful and now I wanna visit!
It’s absolutely worth a visit, such a stunning place!
You all look like you've had so much fun!
It was incredible!
Such a beautiful journey
I love long skirts also and the red one with the elephants is beautiful. Gorgeous bookmark.
Long skirts are just the best 🫶🏻
This was such a beautiful vlog 💕
loved reliving the trip through your footage!! can’t wait to do it again 💗
Definitely!! And more potential meet ups for us in the meantime 👀✨

Lovely vlog! My most recent trip was a three-day trip to Edinburgh, my first solo travel experience and I absolutely loved it! 🤎
I saw your photos! I’m so glad you loved it here 🫶🏻

Ahh that’s a shame re. CC, understandable though! After this many books it’s only natural to start dropping off in some places
✈🦣 lovely long vid! i love your travel vlogs ^^ xx
Glad you like them! I’m always a bit hesitant about them but I love seeing the memories 🥹

The perfect mix of Thailand zen meets feral girl feb 🍃
Honestly what more could you need

It looks like you had a great time in Thailand!
I did! I was determined to find one in the terminal I was leaving from 😂 though I did briefly get lost amongst its halls ahahaha
It’s a very easy hotel to get lost in 😂 And everything looks the same, which makes it even more confusing
As a Thai, I'm glad you like Thailand.

they’re called Gachapon machines! 😇 the Totoro is so cute!
Omg thank you! I didn’t know how to search the name without just typing “turny toy machine things” 😂😂
Aww cute, where those the ones in the local market? I got my niece two of them 😊
Looks like you had a great time. Really want to start Sarah J Mass - thinking of getting all her work.
It’s one hell of a commitment with how many she has but I can’t dissuade it!

I was so over HOFAS. I hated it. I’m only going to read House of Many Waters to see where my favorite goes.
It’s such a shame! 😕
This is hilarious, we must have been in Thailand at around the same time, and with similar schedules :)
No way! Wild how things like that happen ahahaha
