Love your videos chef John. I’ve never been much of an A-1 fan. I stopped using steak sauce when Lea and Perrins stopped making they’re steak sauce. Had an orange label, I think it was called sweet and spicy. I’d put that stuff on anything. Do you remember it?

Thanks for sharing.. I am not much one for sauce on steak, I would rather enjoy the flavor of the meat enhanced with a good seasoning, Thanks for watching!

I'm collecting these to try to find the best one or best combination(s) of several ones; you'll be credited regardless~!

Excellent flavors for this steak sauce! I was kind of surprised about the golden raisins. But since you strain the sauce at the end it makes sense! Looks awesome chef!! I I’ll have to give this a try!!

Yum this is something I will try for sure. I have a video request. We love Buffalo Wild Wings Spicy Garlic Sauce. Do you think you could find a way to duplicate it?! Thanks Chef!!

Looks interesting, chef, it will thicken as it chills. That being said, I will stick with A-1, because it is convenient, economical to buy and the ingredients in your sauce are not always in my kitchen.

It's not exactly economical... It's on the expensive side of steak sauces lol

Ugh, a small bottle of A1 is 7.99-9.00 here and these basic ingredients are always in my kitchen except maybe fresh oranges when not in season but I do dry orange slices when they're in season.

I remember when A1 had anchovies in it. It was listed right on the ingredient list.
