@@mikiandfriends1820 It's literally a few games to get to expert, then a few more to be master/grandmaster with multibox. High ranking is irrelevant and only increases the number of cheaters you play with.
Awww man! No definitions of Greek friendship from the Peteman!? I was looking forward to that one! Look at Pete, making me have to Google things and learn on my free time. GG!
Pete after watching a ton of your videos i finally decided to play a game of capital conquest. 5 players classic map with blizzards no fog progressive cards. I made a few newb moves but had a good cap and got to 1v1 againt a master. He wouldve eventually outearned me on troops but must've had something to do and gave me the win (moved all troops off his caps)
@@TheKillPeteStrategy is it the algorithm is only busted on capital rolls or do you think there is a general issue that starts showing up the larger any stack gets?
At 7:20 you had the question where basically, you get worse at certain games when your opponents are not good and better when they are better. I have noticed this when I bowl with my friends. When I played in high school tournaments, my score was on average 165. When I play with my friends, my score is on average 120. Against good opponents, you're on guard and make the least amount of mistakes. Against bad opponents, you often let your guard down and can slip up quite easily. That's my theory why that can happen.
If I was purple I also would have quit on the spot, losing 38 vs 9 would make me rage so badly. Also that boy cap was just goated with the above mentioned defend plus taking 10 of Pete’s troops for only 3
I have been enjoying these settings. The only downside I've seen so far is there is a fair bit of leavers. Biggest up side is the days of stalemate game are a thing of the past with these settings
I think killing the bot would also have ended the game without needing to capture all caps because you would be the only remaining player that can play a turn
It's so strange that I've only been playing this game for about a month and I feel the only reason I have done as well as I have is from watching these videos. Never wanted to play 1v1 because I always lost. But after watching these videos for about a month I decided to try a 1v1 and it seemed unreasonably easy.
Anyone else waiting for the day Pete becomes the best player in risk, even if only for a day, just so we can hear him say "I'm Pete and I'm THE top player in risk global domination."
hey pete just wondering if you miss your available time what happens and do you get a notification on discord or the game its self about the tournamant
Cant blame Pete for switching settings. The meta settings with blizzards feels stale as never before. I play in open lobbies novice-grandmaster every game but only get lobbies with masters and grandmasters. These games are filled with good neighbouring and cap stackers, who just play extremely safe and you just can’t seem to progress the game anymore at some stage. Hope this new meta is doing a bit better in that regard
I really enjoy these settings. It's a nice break from the usual Europe Advanced. Only I miss the blizzards, as they can provide more alternative places for capitals.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy If the code of SMG would run perfectly it would. But their likelyhood of extreme results is just wrong. Loosing a 1v7 should only loose once every 350 rolls. "Dice rolls for balanced blitz are broken against capitals" True random game, 39 loses to a 12. Seems like capitals are just a little broken in general, but then again with true random someone will eventually getting incredibly unlucky and the numbers will balance out
Help me make sense! 5 player progressive world domination on Advanced Europe, truly random settings Down to 4 players, I have super stack of 483 not pointed at anyone. Isn't that a 0% chance on truly random?!?!
There should be more dices involved and a different system altogether to make it somewhat a strategy game. I'd rather make my own version of risk than play the smg version where they don't even pay attention to cheaters. It's astonishing that there is a competitive risk community to begin with!
4:22 green pissed away every single troop not on capital. He only has 1s now. 10:19 how are we already half way into this game? Does pete lose or does pete smoke? feels so quick. I mean just cap run sure. 20:35 I meant as like an alternative, as in, can you win either way? By eliminating all players aka no magenta left, as an option, yes capitals since it is capitals was always available, but in this case it was also easier.
You see rolls against caps go flat or even positive frequently. At larger numbers that sort of thing would almost never happen if the dice worked properly
Good on those players for actually resigming and not just disconnecting.
That was awesome to see!
It's much appreciated

True random definitely makes it more tense
Imagine... You could run capitals with both dice settings. True random for capital rolls, and balanced for all others
I'm more imagining a world where SMG fixes their dice algorithm

I wish I could put blizzards in here but with fixed people would get way too powerful spawns and win quickly due to luck

Link me a summary of the bill and I'd be happy to. I don't have time to read through government legislation so I know nothing about it.
so close to a well deserved 100k subs

Depends on the settings. What do you play?
pete how do you know if you have a trade, other than what the game reccomends?
You can check your cards at any time. A trade is three of a kind or one of each
