Howard, so glad to see ur video. You look great, even you get than before. Back when I was starting with emacs ur videos inspired me so very much. Glad you are back. Do what makes u happy, but if u keep doing videos I willwatch them avidly. I have not watched this video yet, it just appeared on my feed, but I wanted to comment immediately. Cheers!
Yeah, I usually leave my EmacsConf presentations on the open source-backed servers associated with EmacsConf. I'll try to bring them over to increase viewers.
Wow... Emacs is really a way of life! I also started with D&D first edition, then GURPS. But then I had to stop, not enough players around. Thanks for this video
Talk about video made just for me! ;-) I also use Emacs/org-mode to document my Ironsworn adventures, but at a much more basic level than what you have setup. I look forward to checking out your code and improving mine -- or just using yours. Very well done! You might want to add the code URLs to your video description. (I had to pause at the video end to get them.)
Really enjoyed this, I’ve been getting into solo rpgs a lot this year and have been writing out something in Go to play Forbidden Lands with, but maybe I’ll just do it in my Doom EMacs instead after watching this :)
:o... this is amazing. It may even get me off my butt to learn emacs lisp so that I can tweak it for other games. Thanks so much. Side note: would be nice if you could put the repo url in the description so that we can just click it rather than have to pause at the right place and type in what we see. ;)
Incredible video, so comfortable setup! Maybe you should explore more of your creative writing/workflow and post here on youtube. I would love to watch!! :D What do you think about integrating the Emacs package GPTEL, put some local AI, for example the "nous-hermes2-mixtral", to help on your adventure? Thank you for the awesome and inspiring content!
That was fantastic. I implore you to please make a related RPG package with the hydras you have, and the ability to convert a given RPG game into an Org file to work alongside it. I tried doing something similar in Mythic a few months ago but failed miserably. Great job dude.

Legendary Emacs video!!!
What a comeback after 6 years :D tried to check out his other videos but last one is 6 years ago lol

This is awesome, that is also my favorite thing about emacs. It's more of an application framework then a text editor.

Thanks for the video! Appreciate your message at the end, it’s true, I was thinking about a web app haha! Excellent points made
This is a hilarious crossover of my interests: dedicated to Emacs since 1992, and Ironsworn, only this year
I just came from the devops video from like 8 years ago - happy to see this recent update! Hope you will make more awesome Emacs/org-mode videos!
Sometimes the almighty algorithm really does show me some fantastic videos such as this one :D.
Glad to see you back. Missed you for long long time!
so cool
Me: Hey Emacs can you do...
Emacs: Yes

Damnit Howard, you're luring me back into emacs agin.
Bwahahahaha
He finally showed up!

Its perfect for RPGs - I wrote myself a little dice roller and org-mode is great for character sheets and notes.
Hi Howard, it has been a (long) while.
This is a rather interesting idea, I like it.
I'll probably try it out here soon.
Thanks! How are you doing?
This seems like a perfect place to plug-in gpt-shell

Thanks, I'll be working on that.
Is this project public? if so where can I find it?
Very nice! What fonts are you using for Org mode?
