How to Paint the Greens of Foliage 🎨 Ink and Watercolor Sketch on Location From Observation

- Hi everyone, today I'm sharing with you my afternoon at "To Live For" bakery cafe in East Vancouver. I had a wonderful time sketching my cup of matcha latte and croissant sandwhich, and the view outside the windows. I also got inspired by the babies in strollers outside and I had to capture them in my sketchbook. Please watch the video until the end for my full process composing this sketchbook page using pen and watercolors.
🎨 Materials I used:
- Sailor's fude fountain pen (Bamboo Green)
- Noodler's Brown 41 Ink (to fill the fountain pen)
- Mungyo watercolors
- Etchr Mix-Media A4 size Landscape Sketchbook
- Holbein Water Brush (large tip)
- Holbein water brush (medium tip)

Is it alright Becky to use artistic license and make a tree or shrub more pleasing by adding to its shape or size? Or is that defeating the purpose of drawing exactly what is there?
You can feel free to adjust the shapes and sizes of things however as you like. There is no right or wrong. ☺️
