I stayed at the Taj Palace Hotel for a week, it was a great experience because the hotel has a lot of history, and the ocean view was spectacular, but the room was small. I then stayed at the JW Marriott (not a luxury hotel like the Taj) for a week and got a huge suite with a beach view. The traffic is crazy, the hot weather is unbearable, I hated it at first, but then fell in love with the city once I got used to it. Unlike you, I did not explore the city on foot. I had a local hostess traveling with me, who was overprotective, so I only traveled by car and I was not allowed to eat street food. I'm hoping to visit Mumbai again.

Hindu isn't a language. Hindu is someone who follows Hinduism. The language is called Hindi. Hindi and Urdu originally come from 1 language but developed differently. Urdu has more Persian and Arabic influence and is spoken mainly by Muslims. Hindi has more Sanskrit influence is spoken mainly by Hindus. 80% of both languages, when spoken is the same. The alphabet of both languages however are completely different!
Great video Harry!! Just a humble advice..... Don't try too much of street food at once..... As you are not used to it, it can upset the stomach.... We are very much used to it and it is very good but at some places it can be less hygienic... Have a great trip at this magical land called INDIA.. BYE
Harry please be careful drinking fruit juices in India. I lived most part of my life in Mumbai. Even if you do drink them just tell them don't add ice to your juice. Also street food. I will suggest 3-4 popular restaurants that are very old and unique. Hopefully you have time to visit and try the food there. What you had at Gate way of India is Kulfi. Kulfi is made from cream of milk, saffron, sugar, cardamom, rose and pistachios. The ingredients vary sometimes but main ingredient that give fragrance is saffron depending on flavours like mango kulfi, coconut etc. The difference between your regular ice-cream and kulfi is Kulfi isn't beaten or whipped hence it slightly has a dense and solid texture like a sorbet. There are pretty good shops you get better kulfis in Mumbai. Lol 😂😂😂 there are loads of coconuts in India, especially all the coastal areas of India produce coconuts and when you go towards the southern side of India especially Goa, Kerala every dish would consist of coconut in it also coconut oil is used in cooking in Kerala. Places you can visit to eat Parsi food. •Kyani & Co --- it's located in Marine Lines, Mumbai. Eat your breakfast here. •Britaniaa & Co -- this is in Fort, Mumbai. It's open only for 4 hours. 12pm to 4 pm. You can also go to •Mahesh Lunch home for sea food. There are various branches. Good sea food you get here. •Cafe Leopold - it's an old cafe that started in 1871 and most of the tourists visit this cafe located in Colaba. It has a history for the Mumbai attack that happened in 2008.

I never thought I would miss the heat, the stink and the overall struggle of living in Mumbai. Oh wait, I still don't. Lol. But yeah, this video brings back some nostalgic memories. Thank you and thank you for showing Mumbai in a good light. Cheers!
I like your motorbike ride and it was only for 20 Rs, that was amazing and also cheap. You are such a kind person. You gave coconut person 500 Rs instead of 50 Rs.

i bet you Harry whenever you came to india indian people always help you 🇮🇳❤️ by the way like ur vlogs
Living in Perth it is very unusual to hear a car horn even in the center of the city, honestly Harry does it drive you nuts? I think it would me after a very short time! I can tell there is a real vibe there but could be exhausting real quickly? 5pm in Piccadilly Circus triggers me and it's got nothing on Mumbai. P.s I agree Bombay sounds much more exotic. HeHe.
hahha yes its annoying but you get used to it, its extremely exhausting! i will need a long break on a beach after this trip!
When you ride your bike, don't you ring your bell to let others know that you are there or about to pass them?
Well, Indians are a bike cultured people, driving motor vehicles! 😊
@@harryjaggardtravel you might want to try Karnataka and Goa for for India's most famous and popular beaches, or if you want really quiet untouched beaches, you should fly out to the Indian Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands....
Chowpatty and Juhu Beaches are good when you are in Mumbai.
Welcome to India🇮🇳 lots of love from Nagaland 🇮🇳India

Mumbai is such a beautiful cityy i wish I will see mumbai once in lifee Love from pak
Love from india ❤️💙💚
Mumbai is not a beautiful city but south Mumbai looks posh because most of the bollywood or Indian film stars, sport stars, big businessman and well known military generals and politicians lives in South Mumbai. This is the reason why South Mumbai looks pretty much modern instead other part of Mumbai looks no different than other big cities in India.
@@subhashishbagchi3191 waoo😊❤️
@@subhashishbagchi3191 is that why there are no autorickshaws in South Mumbai? They only want visitors who are rich enough to take taxis?
@@subhashishbagchi3191 Mumbai is beautiful from far away! ;-)
Love u bruh!
Thanks a lot for India.🇮🇳 :)
I suffered so much culture shock when I returned from UK to India after only 5 months! 😆I honestly wonder about what you felt 🤪

This shows how weak you are connected to Indian culture..........that you can forget probably years in 5 months

Love to you and all my Indian folks 🇮🇳❤️
looking forward to showing you this place, i hope you get to come back soon
When you said "and it's absolute chaos" i know the feeling lmao. And in huge metropolitan cities like mumbai and delhi, you can't stay on a busy square for like even an hour. It's so engaging and so much. At one point you'll just give in and accept it. That's when you start to enjoy iy.
Hey man, nice to see you in india.
For suggestions you can visit northeast like meghalaya part of india or try some hilly areas like shimla, manali, rishikesh which is near to delhi so, you can easily find some transport facility and finally go to agra to visit taj mahal and if you want to vist south india you can try Kerala.
Thanks for visiting india, love you brother 😊😊
great suggestions thanks alot
@@harryjaggardtravel BTW I'm missing mac when he will upload video on india 😅😅
Hey Harry you are a wonderful person. You bought so many things from the market and paid them more than what they asked for. Haven’t seen any other vlogger doing so. It was nice to see My Mumbai with your eyes. Come again 😊
We are so much similar.. Wish I could visit neighbours some day. It would be a wonderful experience..
i agree
Hindu isn't a language. Hindu is someone who follows Hinduism. The language is called Hindi. Hindi and Urdu originally come from 1 language but developed differently. Urdu has more Persian and Arabic influence and is spoken mainly by Muslims. Hindi has more Sanskrit influence is spoken mainly by Hindus. 80% of both languages, when spoken is the same. The alphabet of both languages however are completely different!

when you come india you will se where the true humanity exsists.....
Great video Harry!! Just a humble advice..... Don't try too much of street food at once..... As you are not used to it, it can upset the stomach....
We are very much used to it and it is very good but at some places it can be less hygienic...
Have a great trip at this magical land called INDIA..
BYE
Lots of nice people in India very nice to see. Love your videos.
You can also go to
•Mahesh Lunch home for sea food. There are various branches. Good sea food you get here.
•Cafe Leopold - it's an old cafe that started in 1871 and most of the tourists visit this cafe located in Colaba. It has a history for the Mumbai attack that happened in 2008.
thanks so much for the long reply, i really appreciate the kind words
@@harryjaggardtravel haha sorry for the long reply. If I was still in Mumbai I would have tried to be your local guide.
