I wouldn't teach my son Polish (I'm Polish myself, I live in Germany since 25 years) but he learned it after his high school, he made a volunteer year in Poland and came back and talked Polish with me and I had to keep my tears back from being knocked over by it. That was really awesome.

I was a littlebit sceptical first ,but it really works.I advise you guys to download these softwares before the site gets deleted...Rosetta stone,pimsleur and pod101 are over 1000USD together.
Very good video! I'm going to Brest, Belarus in January and I would like to know a couple of Russian words and sentences and this came in really handy. A couple of minor shortcomings - the girl in the video repeats some phrases twice (I'm hungry/thirsty) and the difference between genders isn't stressed (I'm tired/sick) and things may turn out that guys inadvertedly speak of them selves in the female gender and vice versa. :-P But other than that, great work!

In Russian, the O is "reduced" (which means "pronounced like an "a") if it is not accented. So an accented O is pronounced like and O and an unaccented O is basically an "A". In "хорошо" the accent is on the last syllable, so the last O is pronounced O and the other two are pronounced "a"
:-PPP I used to learn Russian in elementary school; remember letters (can read everything wrote in Russian) and some basic words. There were times when we in Poland have to learn Russian, but it is very cool language. I especially like your songs.
