very annoying how they never actually reciprocate the things that shes actually saying and instead just turn it into some weird self-deprecating put down of their younger self like?? shes talking to you and you need to acknowledge what shes actually saying
The interviews are very annoying. You can see clearly they are so intimated by how she speaks and can’t hold the conversation. They further show intimation intellectually by down-playing the girls intelligence. The interviewers can’t keep up on what they hear, so they talk about what they see, and that’s a teenager. They move on to something they can grasp and talk about, like themselves. All of them should really should just be listening to what she is saying.
Depends on whether or not you think having a good memory and knowing a lot of words qualifies as being smarter than others. I mean, she is clearly smart when it comes to remembering academic terms and views on certain topics, but doesn’t seem to be smart when it comes to reading an audience and understanding that no one understands what she is saying when she uses those academic terms, and therefore fails to communicate effectively, which is literally the only point of speaking to an audience.
Wait another 10 years. Kids these day are incredibly intelligent, i mean hell they grew up with the sum of human knowledge in thr palm of their hand. They've just been horribly disillusioned by the real world and that's a damn shame
I wouldn't go that far typically they have something to disagree with to make the show longer with a debate but because they simply can't disagree with her it's either make a joke to keep the boat afloat or sink
@jolie but it’s also dismissing everything she just said, and taking the conversation off path and doing a ‘bit’ for their show, instead of trying to understand. But the most people who I have encountered in Europe who speak like this are PhD and MD students or grads, or activists. @pythonrice same here. People like the one that commented this just look for things to complain about. They are clearly point out that she is smarter, much smarter than they were at her age
I would find this annoying. Like everytime I speak you just jump to how young I am and what you were doing at my age. That's cute and all but let's finish the first conversation.
It kind of seemed like they were saying that because they didn't know how to respond/finish the conversation. Jimmy Fallon clearly had no idea how to engage with her level of intelligence/the topic she was discussing - he spends most of his interviews talking about fun celebrity vacations and shit lmao.
It happens more often than you'd think. So many young beautifully smart women get type casted in their own lives by the watered down souls that float around them. It's complicated and frustrating. The world losses countless opportunities for advancement all because the message we need is usually packaged in vessel we refuse to see with clear honest eyes. We design illusions around what want to believe and images of who want to see...and how we believe it should interact with us.
The fact that people think this is “hyper intelligent” is really sad. She is well-spoken and demonstrates this on a platform on which people are usually very superficial, so she stands out. But she didn’t use one $20 word here. Anyone with a high school degree should be able to totally understand her and not be shocked.
Oprah put it best. Most kids her age aren't interested in this stuff the way she is. Especially in this generation. Today's kids are "influencers" on IG and Facebook. Making Tik Tok videos and completing these crazy challenges.
@@mox9076 it’s funny that you say that, because I went to an excellent college with many VERY intelligent students, and they make silly tiktoks, because it’s a way to make money (and some of them were theatre students and like a platform for practicing accents, characters, lighting, etc). And a couple of them make quite intelligent, academic tiktoks, and that’s awesome, and definitely not what Oprah meant or what anyone else means when they talk about “TikTokers”.
@@EmF95573 TikTok has no value other than pure entertainment. Learning anything from TikTok is so inaccurate. I get so much info from people on TikTok who like to act like they’re education and it’s false or buries the whole truth. There should be no defense of TikTok other than it’s a fun way to spend time and engage with other people. To act like it’s some sort of tool for success is laughable and points to the insecurities people have about how much time they spend on the app. Furthermore getting rich on TikTok is like saying I’ll get rich from streaming video games on Twitch, it’s a nice thought, but the chances of it happening are still razor thin, equivalent to becoming a rockstar or pro athlete.
Damn how does she juggle all that. I didn’t even know she was still in Harvard...I saw an interview just now and she said she is a senior now at Harvard and I was blown. Bless her heart! On top of acting, producing, now her adidas line etc...and she’s only 21.🙌🏼👏🏼💕
The fact that people believe “quantifiable”, “policy adjacent”, and “inter connectivity” are “big/super intelligent words is very telling of our education system.
The fact that she's simplifying her speech. I was taught to speak like that and people never understand what I say. They end up thinking I'm stupid when the truth is they don't know the definition of half of the words I said...I admire her a lot, takes patience.
That could be the case but I think most people think that you sound like you are trying way to hard to sound smart, and I don't think talking like that defines if you're smart or not, I've talked to alot of people personally and online and most of them talked pretty normal even kinda basic and I thought they were damn smart on subjects like politics or tech stuff for example, so yeah its just my opinion
To paraphrase Albert Einstein, “ you don’t have true mastery and understanding of a topic unless you can explain it very simply and succinctly.” She is seventeen, obviously very intelligent and is absorbing everything around her, as she should be. Sure she’s using 50 cent words when a nickel word would do, let’s give her a break. Her heart is in the right place. She’s an incredible role model
This is a prime example of someone who reads academic peer reviewed articles/journals and actually absorbs what they have read. You too can be like Yara if you read peer reviewed articles and journals that are written by the top people of a particular academic field and not seek information on wikipedia.
yeah peer reviewed articles and journals are awesome, but so is Wikipedia... just sayin (unless you're talking about gathering a deeper knowledge of things, in which case, i mostly agree with you)
Totally disagree Wikipedia is also top people if not themselve directly writing they all are all in the references. Including the papers you talk about.
She sounds like she's trying to reach the word count in an essay. Effectively getting your point across is more important than showing your English skills. She's probably compensating for being young; if she doesn't sound intellectual people will dismiss her point.
Each successive generation feels more entitled to “boss” around the world at a younger age instead of waiting until they’ve actually lived long enough to have a sufficient set of adult experiences to become wise. They think they are born wise and know better than everyone else. These are the most dangerous people on the planet: the Hillary Clintons and AOCs. They are the most dangerous because all they have to do is say “Give me power,” and society simply gives it to them. This bright girl is still just that - a kid. Impossible for her to comprehend the nuances and domino effects on others that sweeping policies have, and absolutely impossible that she’s learned enough math to analytically dissect data.
It’s interesting to see how the people she’s being interviewed by aren’t actually enganging in the conversation or adding anything to it other than being amazed by how articulate she is. I mean I know these are short clips but I’d love to see her have a conversation with someone who can actually respond with other than amazement about how she speaks or “alright then”.
Truly, you start to hear words like “precocious” to describe her from people who have underestimated her. She’s where she is, in her time. Imagine where we’d be if we encouraged, expected, and rewarded the best in folks. My friends and I expressed ourselves as she does in our teens, yet grew up into a world of grownups who tried to make us stay in our lanes, least we appear “uppity”. NOW, we should learn from our past and celebrate this young lady. Help her pave a more awakened way 💪🏽forward.
Honestly, this is the reality of today’s generation. So many young people are already so knowledgeable about social issues and the under lying problems of those how systems in place within our governments have been actively enabling those issues in the first place. Im not in any way downplaying her brilliance because i think she is so eloquent and so smart, but i just wanted to point out how i know many people our age (17-20 years old) that are knowledgeable about the issues she’s advocating for, maybe not to her brilliant extent, but still knowledgeable.
Each generation has/had people who are quite aware of social issues during their formative years. That is nothing new. What makes her stand out is that she is a “celebrity” who uses her platform quite better than others within her generation...and she does it with such intellect and eloquence. THAT is a rare find. Personally, it's been a minute. Last time it happened on this scale, the speaker was Pedro Zamora.
I agree, I think it’s because we have easier access to information via the internet. People had to go to the library or read a newspaper (which is usually censored af- depending on the country and that government) So we can access raw information today even if you’re in country that highly regulates what you can access on the internet, you still can use vpn. We see different perspectives on issues, not just one on tv, or one in the daily paper.
i disagree. young people are quite gullible. i used to believe everything i heard and that’s why i was a liberal. then i learned to be open-minded and think for myself, and then i became a centrist.
@@lanahorowitz5179 I agree but only to an extent. That’s usually how young people are though, but around late adolescence. That’s when most people that i know of, actually start being socially and politically aware. Maybe the young people you know are either still really young or they’re just not yet aware of the world around them yet. This generation lives in a world where technology has made information so accessible, not only that. It had made information digestible to the masses. You don’t need to look through countless journals anymore in order to access what a theory, either scientific or social, means because there are people on social media that are explaining it in a way that doesn’t include complex jargons.
so many people are trying to downplay her intelligence and it’s incredibly lame to see....she is obviously a very smart girl, rich or not. if you’re smart, you’re smart. intelligence cannot be bought edit: in no way am i saying being rich doesn’t give you an advantage because of course it does, access to private tutors and top schools is extremely beneficial. what i’m saying is if you have those resources, that doesn’t automatically make your brain more intelligent because you can’t pay for a smarter brain. there’s no process that you can pay for that will make you understand quantum physics or else every celebrity would’ve paid for that. another great example is underprivileged kids ending up going to ivy league schools because despite not having resources, they are born intellectually gifted. that’s not something you can buy
Yara makes me wanna expand my vocabulary and educate myself more than I already am because her speech is so amazing to me and I love how she baffles people with it at such a young age
Instead of listening to what she was actually saying, they were waiting for her to finish speaking just so that they could express how impressed by her speech they were.
I understand the frustration but I think she just caught the hosts by surprise. Perhaps this is their first conversation with Yara and they are truly excited, proud and stunned by such profound responses. Maybe it’s just an honest reaction.
Whoopi did give her the most appreciative response of the three. She recognized the amazing young woman sitting in front of her for what she is not for how she compared to teenage Whoopi

She’s making her point not to prove that she is intelligent (which she clearly is), but to say she’s been doing her research, she can bring her thoughts to the table, and she knows what she’s talking about. For far too long, people have underestimated this young group of people. But guess what? They have the power of the internet to educate themselves now. And so do y’all
Well, she does have a slight expression when she says certain words that she knows will get a reaction. Her points are great I just am getting the vibe after a few videos now that's she's getting to aware of people thinking she's smart because of her vocab usage and that could lead to a negative ego boost for her. It feels as if she knows her vocab effect rather than being fully immersed in what she's actually saying. It's almost recital rather than opportunity to say things spontaneously in speech with passion included with pre practiced lines. No hate to her just not sure of the pedestal she's being put on. I'll defo respect her points though. Just to confirm: I just mean I haven't seen the same level of humbleness I have seen from many great people out there. Doesn't make her bad, I just haven't got that vibe yet. I still respect her opinions on topics though!
100%. I was blown away by her eloquence, not because she knew big words. She's someone who uses the big words knowing what they mean and knowing how they actually bring clarity to the point she's trying to make. It's not comparable to synonym checking an college essay. It's really fucking hard to speak at a level like that.
She is intellectually Woke, I'm so impressed by the fact that she truly assessed the world around her... Her interests are beyond, most young ppl are not that conscious by political issues except those who are deep and well educated kids. I wish her all the best because she is truly exceptional ❤
i would love to have a conversation with her. she was so right about the way that we look at other countries through an isolationist point of view and i would love to hear her thoughts on how american exceptionalism and imperialism factor into the ideas and, mainly, the stereotypes we have of other countries especially when we talk about *their* politics.
When he says "I'm just trying to image myself have a conversation with her when I was 18 and I don't see it", well gonna have to break it to him, he can't even have a conservation with her when he is middle aged. Nothings changed, buddy...
I love how she never once falters in what she says she has such clarity in her thoughts and expresses it so well. The one problem that i think her interviewers have is that she speaks extremely quickly which makes it hard to follow her or then come with responses.
Eloquent and intentional with her words. A rare and beautiful thing to see such a young confident person use these available platforms to discuss and bring to light such important issues. These are our champions of justice. Love and prayers to all our youths and children who will inherit the mess we've left.
Not to downplay her, shes obviously well educated and highly intelligent, but why are so many people SO stunned with her conversational skills. This shouldnt be SO shocking. Idk if its my european perspective but highschoolers, especially those who intend to build careers and are good students, speak like this.
The American education system makes it nearly impossible to have American high-schoolers achieve minimal, basic general knowledge of the world. So the brilliant students are _brilliant_ , and the others are... Well, _bad_ . It's not their fault, though. I don't mean to shame them in any way. It's the system that is shameful.
I think ppl are just used to celebrities saying "um, for me it's like..." and then really not saying anything. Ppl are just surprised at the fact that a celeb can actually say something meaningful.
Omg I love being around that amount of brilliance in a room. You can tell she is just naturally gifted and its not arrogant but on the contrary ...a breadth of fresh air. Go ahead young lady. ,🥰
I feel like I’m her very proud mother right now. I am impressed that she equips herself with knowledge on what’s going on in the world around her. Knowledge is power.
......the crazy part about this is..... She's smart but the world is also just EXTRA slow.... Lol Quantifiable Action, philanthropic..? That should be normal for everyone. I was like that at 18, it was only when I went to college and I started getting bogged down with digesting and regurgitating pounds and pounds of simple, redundant material that I no longer had time to do my own reading and investigation into areas that really mattered to me and intrigued me.
I could not agree more. Paradoxically, in some areas school is inhibiting one's self-development by the deluge of the overflow of information and actions required. I find it significantly disturber.

It seems to me that, for the majority of elders and adults, being young is instantly equivalent to being stupid. It's a great thing someone proves them wrong!
It's because so many youngsters nowadays are genuinely so self absorbed and immature. Especially with all the rubbish that's on social media. Since I was like 10 years old and still now, I've been called 'very mature for my age' just because I'm not IMMATURE. I'm literally nothing special, I know people who are genuinely mature for their age, impressively so, but because so many young people seem to lack basic common sense, the slightest sign of intelligence makes people call you 'extra mature'.
Agreed. It’s funny because other young people share that same view. It gets even worse depending on the socio-economics of the region you live in. I live in the Bronx and went to school in Harlem. Imagine the kinds of looks of admiration I received every time I opened my mouth in one of my AP classes.😭And there’s actually a lot of young, well-spoken, and knowledgeable brothas and sistas here; we’re just sometimes looked at as an astonishment. Pitiful.
@@allyd-moon2875 Agreed. And it’s funny because many of the youth from our generation also feel the need to excessively remark about the maturity of another young person if that person “sounds smart” or conducts themself a certain way.
She is just an amazing human being. When you invest in your children's education, and quality upbringing it shows. She's African origin and Persian there is no time for slaking on either side. She has to be the best because she is born in a white dominated society with brown skin. You have to be better no matter what!
Why don’t people listen and respond to her thoughts instead of marveling at how smart she is? It comes across as condescending to say “wow.....17 year old me could never...” and she is like “17 year old me is, so let’s have a conversation”
Because she talks too fast instead of making herself understood. It doesn't seem like she cares about making her point across but cares more about showing her eloquent skills
@@BakaryD I think that’s a little negative of you to assume. If someone is used to expressing themselves this way and surrounds themselves with like minded people why would she feel the need to pause or check to see if the person is following along after every sentence ? If anything I’d find that more condescending. She’s speaking with adults not children no need to slow herself down unless asked.
@Everything Soup it depends. I think even teens usually have one or two things they either know a lot about or seem to have an opinion worth hearing, even if it entirely clashes with yours. I have a 16 year old sister and we joke a lot about her being pretty dumb, but her self-confidence and sense of friendship is something i've honestly always looked up to. There are always uneducated and very dumb people. That isn't exactly limited to age, usually those super dumb teens become super dumb adults, we just expect it more from the young ones and treat them like the norm instead of an exception like we do with older people.
I don’t think there’s anything really wrong with that. When i was 12 yo, I was trying to memorize all the different taxonomical groups like plant families etc... When i was 14 yo I realised that that is more or less useless information unless I understand key vocabulary used to classify different organisms. Now i’m 16 yo and i realise that I should first learn the dogmas of biology and the definition of life and systems of each organism before I dive into the diversification of life so I actually understand what people are talking about. As you can see, even though I was learning, I wasn’t learning correctly and I wasn’t educated enough in the foundations to understand the concepts and classifications deeply. Im not gonna imply that my experience is universal but a lot of kids know such information without understanding the concepts behind it (knowing the name of stars without knowing the chemistry and physics behind a star) ok i ranted too long
She sounds like most people with well educated parents. Being well spoken doesn’t necessarily mean you’re incredibly smart. She most likely is smart and well spoken but speech in general is something that is taught by parents and the surrounding in which a child grows up in.
I mean she graduated a year early, got accepted into seven colleges two being Ivy League, and attends Harvard all while maintaining a successful acting career
Might be true in some cases but not always. I've seen people with well-spoken parents that can barely put 3 words together, and I've seen people whose mother can't read and whose father has only the 6th grade and being very eloquent at a young age. By the other comments I've seen that she has educated parents, but reading and paying attention to the news and talkshows about important matters also takes people a long way. Despite this your comment is definitely still valid and I think that definitely helped her be what she is today, specially if her parents often encouraged her and tried to have conversations in important matters that stimulated her interest in these subjects.
Being intelligent also means conveying an idea in a way that your audience understands. Just because someone else doesn’t have such extensive vocabulary does not mean that the are not intelligent.

That’s their way of saying they barely understood a word😭. “When I was 17...” equates to “Now I’m 30 something, and I still don’t know that word”

This is why I prefer to be alone. That way im always the smartest person in the room no matter how dumb I really am. 😭
A pin cushion would be the smartest person in the room if it also had whoppi, Oprah and Kimmel in it too
It's kinda sad that they treat her like she's an alien from somewhere far away instead of an intelligent and caring young adult
Because a lot of young people now a days are dumb.

@jolie but it’s also dismissing everything she just said, and taking the conversation off path and doing a ‘bit’ for their show, instead of trying to understand.

People had to go to the library or read a newspaper (which is usually censored af- depending on the country and that government)
So we can access raw information today even if you’re in country that highly regulates what you can access on the internet, you still can use vpn.
You don’t need to look through countless journals anymore in order to access what a theory, either scientific or social, means because there are people on social media that are explaining it in a way that doesn’t include complex jargons.
so many people are trying to downplay her intelligence and it’s incredibly lame to see....she is obviously a very smart girl, rich or not. if you’re smart, you’re smart. intelligence cannot be bought
edit: in no way am i saying being rich doesn’t give you an advantage because of course it does, access to private tutors and top schools is extremely beneficial. what i’m saying is if you have those resources, that doesn’t automatically make your brain more intelligent because you can’t pay for a smarter brain. there’s no process that you can pay for that will make you understand quantum physics or else every celebrity would’ve paid for that. another great example is underprivileged kids ending up going to ivy league schools because despite not having resources, they are born intellectually gifted. that’s not something you can buy

Also being beautiful... She is gorgeous so that means she cant also be intelligent

Im not gonna imply that my experience is universal but a lot of kids know such information without understanding the concepts behind it (knowing the name of stars without knowing the chemistry and physics behind a star) ok i ranted too long
wow, much deep, so inspirational, thanks T-Sweezy
She sounds like most people with well educated parents. Being well spoken doesn’t necessarily mean you’re incredibly smart. She most likely is smart and well spoken but speech in general is something that is taught by parents and the surrounding in which a child grows up in.
Very true!
But she is more likely on the bright side because she comes up with valid points with support almost instantly.
I mean she graduated a year early, got accepted into seven colleges two being Ivy League, and attends Harvard all while maintaining a successful acting career
She probably picked up a thesaurus to expand her volcabulary. Using big words doesn't make you smart, but it does make you sound smart.
I needed this!! ❤💞 she's stunningly brilliant! 🎉🎉🎀
She sounds so amazing. I want to listen to every word
Can't just wait for yara to write a book
Being intelligent also means conveying an idea in a way that your audience understands. Just because someone else doesn’t have such extensive vocabulary does not mean that the are not intelligent.
I agree, but also like you said a part of intelligence is also being able to convey an idea for audiences to understand
Agreed. And the opposite is also true. No one challenged her on her thoughts because she was using “big words”, but she really wasn’t saying much.
@@natalyd9674 in the conversation with Oprah I agree she was just throwing a bunch of big words and her statement didn’t make much sense. However, her discussion with Whoopi made sense and while using “high” diction
She’s just speaking using a good vocabulary but seems rehearsed almost. Smart people will talk in a way to ensure the majority of people understand what they’re saying as they want them to engage with the discussion. It’s different if you’re writing your thesis or something but this isn’t how any one speaks including professors of the subjects
@@natalyd9674 and the speed. You can talk slow and still make more valid points.
A talk between her and jaden smith will be legendary
Well spoken smart young lady I feel so proud of her
She is going to be the president of The United States of America one day. She's the one to watch.
The system would never let moral and intelligent people like her be President unfortunately... especially when that person happens to be a woman of colour. I Wish this would change in the future
Not every smart and politically sensitive person wants a career in politics. Instead she will probably continue to grow her influence as an actress and use her platform to be a better role model for younger generations.
Just because she is well spoken means she’s gonna be president? Ok I guess I’ll be president too
@@YN-wo8rd Um, no. It’s the fact she’s speaking on topics that truly matter along with developing solutions to help combat these issues. Being well-spoken isn’t even the half of it.
Dude, that would be nice, but likely won't happen... It's like a fantasy to have someone like her be president 😅 sadly..
She has such an incredible way of speaking, you can tell she is smart but her word choice is concise and easy to follow, and she isn’t just using big words to use big words, she is genuine about what she is saying and is obviously extremely intelligent
doubt
She is definitely using big words to use big words, it is comparable to somebody on the top peak of the dunning Kruger curve, she is clearly well-educated, but she is still obviously a beginner in the fields she speaks of. Those who understand the language she is using, but more importantly the logic behind that language, understands that it’s simply big words being thrown around. Her comparison of the Iranian protests to the recent blm protests sounds logically coherent because of the words she is using, but it’s simply a superficial gap-filler being used for the conversation. Yes, she’s more educated than the interviewers and many people listening/watching, but she’s definitely nowhere near being an expert or truly intelligent in this context
@ I completely agree, but that has no relevance to what she was saying in these conversations and how some people reacted
Incredibly beautiful, incredibly smart and incredibly nice. The entire package 🤩
Wise beyond her years! Salute! Young, gifted, and black! 💯👏🏾🤜🏾🤛🏾
She's the definition of *Beauty with brains*
How can you not admire her??? 🥺🥺🥺

I can just listen to her all day!! Such eloquence!
Clearly she’s a voracious reader. Those who read extensively have an Arsenal of words at their disposal. They are able to present complex ideas through dialogue.
Why waste time say lot word when few word do trick
@@vanessamallard1111 hmm because she can?? She's applying the knowledge she's garnered through out the years. What's so wrong about that?
@@maiskki7711 It’s a joke Einstein.
@@vanessamallard1111 lol sorry I got peeved and reacted badly,,didn't realize it was a joke
@@vanessamallard1111 by using complicated words in a correct context you’re actually doing the opposite. If you have words to very accurately describe what you think, you won’t have to use a lot of words to describe what you could say in one word.
She made an excellent point at the end about how we in the US don’t realize how similar peoples struggles in other countries are to our struggles. We look at other countries and don’t always realize how much we should be able to relate to their struggles. We need to look at it from a human perspective, not just a political one (since we don’t relate to governments, we relate to people)
But let’s be real here. If she had used simpler language her message could have reached more people, but everyone clapped enthusiastically, probably only half-understanding what she was even saying because she sounded smart. 😂
Wow thanks for explaining her Last speech💞 i really dont understand anything because of my english level
Which part was complicated? Interconnectivity? Isolationism? Tax plan? She could have taken a breath and slowed down a smidge once she got rolling but it was pretty basic senior high social studies/history/economics speak.
@@TNDCBaby I agree but when she was talking to Oprah her discussion didn’t make much sense. She was just throwing around a bunch of big words. Also, when talking you have to acknowledge your audience and change how you present your information in regards to the audience
@@TNDCBaby It'd surprised you the large percentage of people who's comprehension skills aren't even that level. RUclips's comment section is only a glimpse into that reality.
@@Mariam-cu1uz It sounds like they started her in the middle of a thought. Sounded like she was talking about relationships and partnerships that some opportunity has allowed her to form and how the group needs to create measurable outcomes which show how their work can impact the election. That's just a guess.
Very brilliant young lady.. proud of her 🙏🏾👏🏽
Love this young lady!!!
Personally, the shocking thing, to me, is that people are ACTUALLY letting her speak. I was a precocious little scamp when I was younger, but people wouldn't let me get out more than half a sentence before they decided their conversations were more important. Actually most of the intelligent people I've ever met run into the same issue. It's refreshing to hear someone actually have a stream of thoughts come out and not be immediately interrupted.
Actually, what's sad for me is, it seems like the adults here aren't REALLY listening. They're just waiting for her to finish and encouraging her for some cheap applause. I don't care though. I'm listening. We're listening. Go on ahead, girl! I'm here for it!
Because everyone is amused by her extensive vocab instead of acctualy listening to the message she is transmitting😅😅😅😅😅
This absolutely agree to often people have ignored me or not listened to me too the point were I shut myself up.
Cheap applause. My sentiments exactly
The adults here don’t understand her message so they just deflecting like you said
Half the words she used I had to pause the video and research it
are you joking
PLEASE😭🤚🏾
ME💀💀💀
Nyjah Love - First, you have a lovely name ! Second, the smile on my face is because you actually took the time to look up the words. Third, you admitted it! What a woman! Hugs to you from Canada. :)
half the words???? are you really that stupid wtf...
👏👏👏 to her and her parents. She speaks so beautifully that no one could ever interrupt
she’s a perfect example of what you’d want your daughter idol to me… beautiful , smart, strong, and confident …i love her ♥️
Everyone’s entitled to pick their own role models but the world would be a better place if kids looked up to people like Yara instead of certain tiktokers
Exactemento
Yep. Charli D'Amelo should not be a more common role model than this amazing young woman
rare breed of people from straight tiktok
Tik tok is trash
As an Iranian who’s 18 years old I can see her as my role model. She’s strong, powerful and intelligent with her words and that is absolutely beautiful.
Same :)
Incredible. She's so advanced & brilliant! The sky is the limit for her.
she's a really good actor. Look how good she is at acting smart .
I love how she just speaks her thoughts and doesn’t stop. She has a very intelligent mind and speaks on important issues. She will be a great leader in the future✨😭🥺❤️✨
wow shes brilliant
i love listening to intelligent people saying things that really make sense and show that they genuinely care for other people😍😘
We need more people like her. Not teenagers, not children, just people in general. She speaks so eloquently and honestly. And appears to do her research before having an opinion, instead of just blindly following. Adore her!
Sooo enlightening to see her flourish!! Lovely young lady. Proud of her!!
As a 12 year old girl, I aspire to be like Yara. She is smart, educated, and successful. Having an inspirational figure like Yara is so important and has impacted me greatly. I really feel looking up to her has made me want to become a better person and educate myself further on topics such as racism and islamiphobia. Love her

Shoutout to her parents!

She's a gem of a person. I'd expect to see her making some more big moves within the near future.
