The problem was that his stream was for whatever reason recording in mono, which screws up how the music sounds. This was a similar issue that happened with an earlier Arcade 1up and the problem there was it only had one speaker, when Virtual Audio Q Sound needs two. SSF2T suffered, but SF2T didn't since CPS1 games were mono. But no, I have the game and the audio is pretty much perfect.
Double dipped and got it digitally for switch and Playstation. I can't wait for the physical copies. Disney is not going to take these games away from me again.

@@ghostofhallownest5300 this collection was a LONG time in coming. Keep in mind that aside from Arcade 1up and the MvC Origins ordeal, a lot of these games ONLY home versions were rough going. CoTA was decent on Saturn, but terrible on PS1. Marvel Superheroes was terrible on both. XMen Vs. Street Fighter and Marvel Vs Street Fighter were gimped on PS1 and while you could import the Saturn version you either needed an import Saturn or a mod chip. Even then that RAM cartridge could be finicky sometimes. MvC1 had a good Dreamcast version, and of course it had MvC2. Other systems had MvC2, but there was always something "off" about them. And then for us Nintendo fans too, we never got these PERIOD. This is probably the BEST way to have this right now. Online has been pretty excellent with solid connections, and just being able to have them all in one place legally, is a dream! Not to mention it's Marvel on the go at work!

most probably its too costly because it was a PS3 release, if capcom wanted to re-release this I bet they gonna be re-released it as a standalone game, or a MVC trilogy compilation without these others games included in this pack
@@kevinmatta9262 why would they not? bundling more games mean more profits, for example, if they sell the MVC3 for 40$, and they sell the trilogy for 60$, they would get 50% more profits with trilogy than standalone. Well thats the gist of it

Hi. I just wanted to report a minor issue that could/needs to be fixed in an update patch. The games in this collection; demonstrate judder during gameplay. This is very noticeable when there is horizontal or vertical screen scrolling or during some aspects of game play. The most noticeable is when the letters scroll in the opening of X-men Vs Street Fighter or when you try to fast forward (by holding an attack button down) during mid match win screen in Marvel Superheroes (when character is still moving between rounds). It seems to get triggered more when playing in airplane mode or when during mid game; you go to the Switch home screen and then back to the game. I think it could be fixed by a change to the Vsync or frameskip setting ( as it looks like frames get skipped in order to compensate for a lack of speed) via a patchThis collection is one of the best of it's kind with regards to the games, extras and screen size/filter options; but I would hope this gets addressed as it is very noticeable for someone who plays these games regularly on other devices and platform and who wants to play it exclusively on the Switch and hopefully it's successor. Thank you.
That's not a flaw. That's CPS2 in a nutshell. It is not the Switch. Whenever these games did anything in a turbo mode the way it pulled it off was through a frame skip of every three frames. When you play with turbo speeds also, some supers get stuttery, but in Normal speed they don't unless whatever it is is absolutely crazy. It's the same with Double War Machines doing war destroyers in Duo Team Attack. That causes both slowdown and MASSIVE sprite flicker. which is ALSO EXACTLY like the arcade originals. After all, CPS2 was only 16 bit.
@@Darknight0681 That's not what I am reffering to. I play these games constantly on emulation devices, actual hardware and other means and this issue does not exist on those. However, since reportng this issue; I haven't notice it occur again since launch day; so I don't know what caused it; or if it was something ironed out after the game ran for a while; or even if there was a silent background update (though the firmware didn't update), but it hasn't happened again.
We're here folks. For those getting it digitally, have the time of your life! For those getting it physically, Good things are definitely coming to those who wait. I'm just so very happy that this time is finally here. 30 years in the making and definitely well worth the wait. My teenage years and college years of life are overjoyed!

some of these games have never seen a remaster or re-release since the the originals in the 90's. I wonder why. And how did they pull it off now? I assume it's been licensing issues but how did they overcome these obstacles. I love the X-Men/SF cross-overs and the Marvel vs SF game

Nope, not one game. Not even MvC2. Though, if the way they handled CvS2 on GC was any indication of how it'd be handled, it's probably for the best that they didn't put it on there. Speaking of which, that's another reason I'm happy to hear about CFC2. We'll finally get a GOOD version of CvS2 with no incorrectly colored visuals. That always annoyed me with the GameCube version.
We go through this every single release. Your online experience, no matter what any developer does on their end with a game like this using either rollback or delay based netcode, is going to be CONNECTION dependent. That’s regardless of platform. WiFi warriors will always give a worse time than those connected by wire. Someone who’s too far off with a bad connection will always give a bad time. Two people wired will always be a better time, especially the closer you are. That’s all there’ll ever be to it. Someone will always complain because they’re in denial of their own connection, or someone they connected to is trash and will blame the game instead of the person they connected to. Same old story.

At last, MARVEL VS Capcom sees the light of day once more!

Hi. I just wanted to report a minor issue that could/needs to be fixed in an update patch. The games in this collection; demonstrate judder during gameplay. This is very noticeable when there is horizontal or vertical screen scrolling or during some aspects of game play. The most noticeable is when the letters scroll in the opening of X-men Vs Street Fighter or when you try to fast forward (by holding an attack button down) during mid match win screen in Marvel Superheroes (when character is still moving between rounds). It seems to get triggered more when playing in airplane mode or when during mid game; you go to the Switch home screen and then back to the game. I think it could be fixed by a change to the Vsync or frameskip setting ( as it looks like frames get skipped in order to compensate for a lack of speed) via a patchThis collection is one of the best of it's kind with regards to the games, extras and screen size/filter options; but I would hope this gets addressed as it is very noticeable for someone who plays these games regularly on other devices and platform and who wants to play it exclusively on the Switch and hopefully it's successor. Thank you.
That's not a flaw. That's CPS2 in a nutshell. It is not the Switch. Whenever these games did anything in a turbo mode the way it pulled it off was through a frame skip of every three frames. When you play with turbo speeds also, some supers get stuttery, but in Normal speed they don't unless whatever it is is absolutely crazy. It's the same with Double War Machines doing war destroyers in Duo Team Attack. That causes both slowdown and MASSIVE sprite flicker. which is ALSO EXACTLY like the arcade originals. After all, CPS2 was only 16 bit.
@@Darknight0681 That's not what I am reffering to. I play these games constantly on emulation devices, actual hardware and other means and this issue does not exist on those. However, since reportng this issue; I haven't notice it occur again since launch day; so I don't know what caused it; or if it was something ironed out after the game ran for a while; or even if there was a silent background update (though the firmware didn't update), but it hasn't happened again.

Got the physical version pre- ordered with Best Buy, but went ahead and got a digital version because I couldn't wait until November! 😎

He's only available if you change the game to Japanese.

As far as I’m concerned I’d pay the same amount for either power stone game.

some of these games have never seen a remaster or re-release since the the originals in the 90's. I wonder why. And how did they pull it off now? I assume it's been licensing issues but how did they overcome these obstacles. I love the X-Men/SF cross-overs and the Marvel vs SF game

Wild how none of these games were on Nintendo consoles until now. I Mandela’d myself into thinking MvC2 was on GameCube.
Nope, not one game. Not even MvC2. Though, if the way they handled CvS2 on GC was any indication of how it'd be handled, it's probably for the best that they didn't put it on there. Speaking of which, that's another reason I'm happy to hear about CFC2. We'll finally get a GOOD version of CvS2 with no incorrectly colored visuals. That always annoyed me with the GameCube version.

How is online for everybody? I’m looking to pick this up but I heard some questionable things about the online stability
Everyone experience is different. Usually depending on internet connection. I don't know if its good to make a choice on others experiences.
I've been playing the Switch version and so far, the online is pretty good.

We go through this every single release. Your online experience, no matter what any developer does on their end with a game like this using either rollback or delay based netcode, is going to be CONNECTION dependent. That’s regardless of platform. WiFi warriors will always give a worse time than those connected by wire. Someone who’s too far off with a bad connection will always give a bad time. Two people wired will always be a better time, especially the closer you are. That’s all there’ll ever be to it.
Someone will always complain because they’re in denial of their own connection, or someone they connected to is trash and will blame the game instead of the person they connected to. Same old story.
@@SALTYTOAD00 That first night I might have had one bad connection. The rest were exceedingly good to the point where I didn't even really think about it.
