Had to listen after your 2024's Top 9, and hooooooly what an amazing album. Not only an analytical master but a short-scale keyboard buff 🧐?? a real Renaissance Goat
Glad I'm not the only one who heard this album and thought "Oh I need to learn this to figure out how it works", though I didn't get anywhere near this far haha, great job, this sounds incredible
Thank you for making this! I've been getting frustrated with finding good sources of piano chords as most of the ones I find are inaccurate, don't have an example of how it can be voiced, too guitar-centric, or nonexistent in the case of this album. I love that you presented how each chord relates to the key and a general idea of what it's doing theory-wise so I can understand the music and how to emulate and not just know how to play it. I genuinely need a thousand of these!
I'm glad you're finding it useful. This kind of content doesn't seem to get a lot of views, but if it helps even a handful of people this much, it's worth it.

Tasty playthrough, thanks for introducing me to Pearl and the Oysters!
Nice, been using the album to improve my harmony and songwriting since it came out
Same. It forced me to reckon with how diminished chords work a lot more thoroughly.
