Cameras like this currently exist! A few years back, my nephew started taking interest in my mirrorless camera taking pictures of everything and everyone. Well, to feed his interest, I got him a cheap little thermal printer camera from Amazon. He loves it, and aside from the poor image quality from the sensor, the photos print out pretty great!

Casio had made some fascinating Cameras, back in the Days. Little Fun Fact: The (in this Case Build in) Printer was made by a subsidiary of Casio itself, the Label maker Division.
There is even a Printer for their most Famous Camera, the Casio QV-10, and as you can guess, it's just a modified Label printer.

Casio used to make a lot of cameras. The Exilim series were the go to for consumer high speed photography before Casio kind of gave up on them. Probably because Casio never made cameras larger than compact sized which were getting chewed up by camera phones.

As a French guy, I think that's a funny camera name and it should be "petite colle" as "colle" is a feminine word. But you're right it's like "little glue stick". It's funny because recently on Chinese social medias I saw a kind of new camera like this one that does thermal printing. Enjoyed your video, as always :)

I love the look of the prints on the little stickers! The inkjet printer setup is probably the best way to go. I remember some software from the late '90s/early '00s that let you set up custom print areas for printing a whole sheet of stickers, and I think that'd be useful here.

Phtographer -enthuist who has a degree in photography here I love experimenting with thermal print cameras I am talking about the one you gift your kids. Unlike a polaroid or other instant camera although the image quality for the ditigial file is like a crappy old digicam It is cheaper than the other Instant cameras out on the market. The rolls of thermal paper are the exact ones you ude in a grocery store and you can get 20 for less than $50. What I enjoy about photography is you get to experiment with different cameras as a college student I;ve used a 4x5 view camera, hasselblad and lots of digital and film/analouge cameras for classes and they always left me curious.
