I finished my BS in Geography a few years back. Now that I have a few years of GIS experience on me I'm thinking about going to do my M.S. in GIS, but I think it's more economical and practical to do a GIS graduate certification instead and potentially do your masters in another field that related to where you wanna take your career.
Seems like you focussed more on ESRI's products rather than actual technical GIS Terms (except for gdb, layout, shapefile). Looking forward for more videos.
Rohit Venkat Gandhi Mendadhala you are correct. Most miscommunication I have experienced between non GIS managers has been over Esri products which they associate as GIS.
@@mohammadbasheermalikzai1507 This is exactly why I hate Esri and their family of mediocre proprietary products. They're worse than Adobe and that's saying something. I switched my org to QGis two years ago and we haven't looked back. GeoJson gang rise up
15 years experience in 3d mapping side...like DEM,DTM,Planmetric side Using with DATEM,INFO Application Master...And SSK,LPS,etc using with microstation..
@@KatieScheurer Its ok and again most of the terms used are vender specific. This vendor is just another software provider used by small portion of GIS uses not a standard.

Well ESRI is so prominent in the industry that makes itself almost a lone wolf of the industry therefore its always confused by nontechnical people.

Yes they are but many associate them together. This is intended for those that have never worked in GIS.
