Momma Ivy reminds me so much of my little Jinx. She was only 6-7 months old when she had kittens herself so she stopped growing. She passed at 10 years old back in february.
I wish I was in the area I want one. I had a black cat she was so affectionate lived till she was 19 had her since she was a baby.. Black cats are so loving
I LOVE Black cats. I had my Simba (2014 RIP) for 14 years and they were some of the best years. I will definitely always adopt a Black cat or 2. Much love, hugs, kisses and blessings to Mama and her furry babies.🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🥰💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
How is Ivy not adopted already!?😭 When I adopted my girls, I originally didn’t want a black cat. I don’t even remember why but the shelter told me black cats are the least likely to be adopted so I immediately snatched her and her grey tabbey sister up. Now I’m so confused as to why I ever said I didn’t want a black cat. 😭 their faces and eyes and teef and peets are so precious.
when I was looking for a puppy my husband said that he didn't want a black puppy because he was worried about tripping over it in the dark. We have cream carpet, so I think a black pet would show up really well against it. Ah well.
Ivy is such a sweetie! Hopefully she'll find someone to take her in and love her to bits! Kittens are so much fun! If I were younger, I'd grab some more. For now I'm looking for a bonded pair, non-kitten, to add to the gang here. Kiki and Squeaky would be great but I'm nowhere near to adopt them. As for black cats, sure there is some stigma, BUT what isn't widely known is black is a dominant color, or lack of, so that's why it seems like they don't get adopted. Yes, colorful cats are likely to get snapped up quicker, but still... Just the fact that Ivy is black and all six kittens are black supports the idea that black is more dominant. So many videos here and elsewhere showing mama cats and kittens, you can see how black is usually more prevalent. Anyway, thanks for what you do and 🤞🤞🤞🤞 that mom and kids all find wonderful homes!

@@stephenlehr6020 Thanks for the update - with such a sweet personality it was pretty much a given that some "house panther" person would snap her up! 4 of my 9 are black, 2 are Tux (black and white), 1 is a teeny tortie (really a torby - she has obvious stripes too), 1 dilute calico/tabby (like the tortie, but dilute callie colors and tabby stripes) and 1 medium hair dark calico (all others are short hair - she's the floofy of the house!) Note also - at least one of my house panthers is actually a black tiger! In the right light you can see her "ghost stripes." I learned that basically ALL cats are tabbies (striped) but many have the gene turned off, so no stripes are seen. In the case of ghost stripes, there are very subtle (her sister may have some even more difficult to see) stripes, slightly different shade of "black", but clearly there if you find the right light! I thought it was my imagination until I put one of her pix on the PC and on the big display there was NO question - she has ghost stripes! Anyone else just looking at her would see a black cat. So, YAY for IVY! Hopefully yay for her babies... most likely yes, as kittens usually get scooped up quicker than adult cats.

Thank you for rescuing these lil furry purry kittens and mom. I’m not a cat person, but even I have to admit they’re cute and cuddly! Ivy is such an awesome mom. From my 5 dog family thanks for all you do! ❤😊
Thank you for showing as much as possible of the procedures, I wish it wasn't such an "inappropriate thing" to educate on such critical critter population care and control. There's nothing bad to see in 99 percent (dramatization) of spays and neuters, and they actually prevent MANY diseases, including cancers, from happening later in life (and not just on the removed tissues)! I've helped too many strays, and still can't believe how fiercely anti pet neuter many people are. Halloween cats are my absolute favorite house panthers, and I hope all the best for each of these amazing animals.
I believe in spay and neuter cats and dogs. I've seen people who dont do it to their animals and then find strays running through the neighborhood. What a shame. Spay and neuter
@@sallyshipwreck4315 if memory serves me right, they could indeed upload the videos uncensored, as they did originally, HOWEVER, they will be demonitized. What that means is RUclips will not pay. The whole concept of vet ranch began with donations and money from RUclips supporting the care of homeless animals. If they don't get paid, there's not enough to provide the care needed. So, they began self-censoring. RUclips doesn't censor it. Financial support comes in many ways: RUclips, donations from people, and help from places like abandoned pet project. The more $ that comes in, the more animals they can save.
Sorry, but no, there is no good evidence that neutering or spaying solves stray population problem (if it is a problem to begin with). First of all, if you keep your cats indoors and put dogs on leash, there's no chance that they will mate with other animals outside. And despite people's good intentions, TNR is not likely to do anything for the cat population because a well-fed healthy female cat can have perhaps 5 to 10 kittens a year. And, you should ask "why cat population does not double every year?" Well, that's because most strays are not well-fed, not healthy, and even if they have litters, most kittens don't survive because of scarcity of food, predators, accidents, diseases, parasites and fleas, and so on. For animals that can reproduce so much so frequently like cats, you can never capture (and perhaps neuter) enough of them to put down the population significantly. And, I suspect vets say neutering makes animals healthy for two reasons: 1. That's what they learn (or learn to say) at school, 2. to make you feel better. Think about it. You don't remove your organs not to have a cancer (which you may never have) later on (although it is not unheard of). In fact, those reproductive organs have other functions, too (like producing hormones and some other functions we may not know about). A lot of pet owners know that pets gain weights after their reproductive organs get removed. Rather, neutering or spaying makes pet owners lives easier (like your pets no longer escape home or spray at home). I think, ultimately, it's up to the owners. After all, we never ask animals if they want to be pets to begin with. We raise animals for purely selfish reasons, not for some grand compassionate reasons. Just don't think that you are doing them a favor by removing their organs.
@@bdkim79 "...pets gain weights after their reproductive organs get removed..." Guess all the cats I have cared for didn't get this memo Also "We raise animals for purely selfish reasons..." A dog I'd had would have agreed with the momma cat about the coffee. He HAD to get into EVERYTHING I drank. Stole ice cubes, stole my freshly brewed coffee from my mug... And don't get me started on the other things he got into...😂 Lovely kittens, momma cat!
It's so fascinating to me how cats go crazy for those packet treats as my cat is allergic to salmon and pork. He has never had one, and is not huge on food due to the restrictions (salmon allergy is severe). His "treat" is getting brushed with an Equigroomer or Furminator (he will meow in my face as I'm brushing the dog). He's a black cat too, and I don't think I can adopt any other type of cat.
I have a beautiful Bombay (black, green eyed ) Cat. He is so loveable & wonderful! He does NOT cause our family members to have their typical cat allergies that other cats do!!!!! Bombay's are known for very strong appetites. It is difficult but we have to be careful not to give any extra treats. He has been caught many times sneaking the dog's food.

We rescued and found a wonderful home for a little black kitty that wandered into our yard on a cold, snowy day in January. Our lifestyle doesn't lend well to pet ownership, so my sister in law's family has her now. That kitty gave me two weeks of pure joy while she was with us. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
People who say they don't like cats (you know who you are) because they think they sound "cool" saying it, are watching this video and smiling just like everyone else. Great kitties.
I think she must be a young cat. She reminds me of my year-old cat Pepper. She’s the sweetest thing and *loves* to be with me. She was nine-ish months old when we adopted her. She and her sibling-from-another-parent Jet were both ferals and you would hardly know they were feral if they would dare to approach you.
My 2 little black kitties are getting so big. Just had Journey (female) spayed. I was scared she was pregnant, but it was pudgyness. Her brother Izan (Izzy) is next on the list. I love black kitties and dogs. The dreaded, not friendly to black cats holiday is coming up. Will have to guard them carefully for a few days. Ivy and her kitties are precious.
Next time use different colored velcro neck bands (as Tiny Kittens does) (fitted with a little bit of space to be comfortable, of course) to quickly tell them apart.
My favorite time as a rescuer's when the kittens I've delivered (or have been brought to me) is when their ears start unfolding & their eyes just start opening💛 Although, I feel my greatest achievement is when when I take every animal in my brood for their SPAY/NEUTER & CHIP day🌟 I don't worry about them less when they're adopted but I know they won't contribute to the population & if found they can find their way back to us🎊
Instead of microchipping them before spay/neuter surgery, to identify which kitten is which when they are very similar or identical, TinyKittensHQ feral TNR/Rescue in Canada uses colored soft fabric whelping collars. TinyKittensHQ closely tracks the kittens' weight gains from birth.
omg a big void had little furry voids!!!!!I rescued/adopted two boys in april.. 1 void kitteh and his brofur a tuxie boy both are adults and were from the streets..
What a lovely video. Had me smiling all the way through. Mum cat is such a lovebug. Who could resist her? The kittens are adorable. I'm sure none of them will wait long for their forever, loving homes. Black cats are great. I have two of my own and one long-term foster.
You guys should start Once a month Vet clinic tour for kids in schools and educate them with little things about pets. So that they grow up to be fearless towards animals and love all the living creatures. I hope you read this comment and think about it. It is just a small request all the way from India.

I'm not a cat person but Ivy seemed super chill and sweet. Like she knew everyone was there to help and care for her so she didn't mind all the pokes.
We adopted our house panther Floki 3 years ago. He’s a handsome fellow and such a good boy.
Beautiful looking cats they're awesome
Omg I love this mom cat wish I could adopt her.
We got two black kittens from a shelter last Christmas and that mamma cat looks just like one of our girls, so cute, I love kittens!
Love Black Panthers. Hasen't anyone in this beautiful family been adopted?
Next time use different colored velcro neck bands (as Tiny Kittens does) (fitted with a little bit of space to be comfortable, of course) to quickly tell them apart.
There is nothing like kittens.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
My favorite time as a rescuer's when the kittens I've delivered (or have been brought to me) is when their ears start unfolding & their eyes just start opening💛 Although, I feel my greatest achievement is when when I take every animal in my brood for their SPAY/NEUTER & CHIP day🌟 I don't worry about them less when they're adopted but I know they won't contribute to the population & if found they can find their way back to us🎊
I watched this video and overdosed on cuteness. 10/10 will do again. 🥰❤️🥰❤️🤭
I would love to adopt mama kitty and two of the kittens or just two of the kittens
Black kitties are the most loveable kitties. I have my first one ever his name is Mr. Cuddles. He fits his name.
Aww she’s so sweet
Awesome updates! The kittens are adorable as well~
Thank you for sharing this video~🤗
Ivy has to be one of the sweetest cats I have ever seen. So cute.
Instead of microchipping them before spay/neuter surgery, to identify which kitten is which when they are very similar or identical, TinyKittensHQ feral TNR/Rescue in Canada uses colored soft fabric whelping collars. TinyKittensHQ closely tracks the kittens' weight gains from birth.
my daughter just adopted a black kitten from SPCA
She’s gorgeous
This is one of my favorite segments, such sweet kitties 🐈⬛.
I love it when animals communicate!!

I wish I lived closer
What a lovely video. Had me smiling all the way through. Mum cat is such a lovebug. Who could resist her? The kittens are adorable. I'm sure none of them will wait long for their forever, loving homes. Black cats are great. I have two of my own and one long-term foster.
I love my black cats. I have 10, plus I had 3 that died around 20 yrs old.
Such pretty kittens and momma is so sweet!
ugly kittens. They look deformed. Like the Babyruth sloth from goonies.
I have 2 house panthers and they are absolutely the best kittahs
You guys should start Once a month Vet clinic tour for kids in schools and educate them with little things about pets. So that they grow up to be fearless towards animals and love all the living creatures. I hope you read this comment and think about it. It is just a small request all the way from India.
Oh, she is so sweet!
Such a pretty momma
Love the black kitties 🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛
