Did you have to do anything special with the old charging receptacle wires when you removed it? I will also be removing and adding the 110v port for the onboard charger.
If you're asking what to do with the original charge a receptacle of the cart, if you're going to install a roypal unit, just remove it. I made a video about the 3-D plates I make to install the 110 receptacle on your cart, And I sell them on my website, they are very awesome.

There should only be 2 wires going to your active cart's charge receptacle once you do a bypass. There should only be a positive going to the positive pack if pack terminal and a negative going from the charge receptacle to the pack's negative terminal. This is after doing A. OBC bypass, and assuming you are still reusing this original receptacle. No other wires because you've cut the Gray one off so that's all you have to do assuming you're gonna reuse the plug. If you're not gonna reuse that receptacle just pull it out of the cart

Sir I have a question I purchased the roypow s51105 and I ordered their lithium charger which I thought it is a fast charger but actually it is written on the back that it is 22amps So I think it will charge the 105 Amp of the s51105 in May be 5 hours. Do you have any experience concerning the chargeing time and if there is any fast lithium chargers for this model?? I Appreciate your advise.
You want to use that charger. It won't take 5 hours to charge unless it is completely dead. And you better not let it get below 40% before charging it.

I wouldn't try it, after sinking so much money already into the unit! You can charge it with other chargers, but I don't know if there will be any longterm damage or repercussions to the unit. Roypow redesigned their chargers from when I started, the newer ones have the green cords. I would think there will be a warranty issue if you push too many amps at 1 time, into the unit.

Try plugging into cart first before the wall and see if it is any different. Also, turn battery unit off, then plug charger in both ends, does the green lite on the battery unit come solid? I have had only 1 issue with a charger, due to customer neglect.
Wayne I have a club car 2020 precedent and was quoted 3600$ to convert to Roy pow .. I think it’s the higher capacity battery.. is that too much? Thanks

440 for the charger is a ripoff. You dont need the brackets, i have never used a bracket. you can figure out how to bolt it down very easy without any brackets. The dealer paid 30.00 for the brackets, that was his price. Tell him you dont want them, see if he will deduct 50 bucks 👍 Too bad you cant pick up the unit for me, alot cheaper.

56 will work if you don't have a long way to drive, to get to the course, and you charge it after each day you use it

if it is a P series, the price is decent. If it is a S series, it is pricey

If you have an obc, you will need to remove it or bypass it. Also will need a voltage reducer if you have lights.
