@dethkatt Thank you and I would like you to know that I highly value your opinion. (it DOES say 'fake' in the title, but I'm not about to make fun of the handicapped)
It's much less of a 'joke' if I buy and install a legit NOS system. It was a weekend project I documented simply for the sake of documentation. All things considered for my personal situation, it would be a poor investment; no disrespect to those who run (real) NOS.
i think this was a great idea and im forsure going to try it, but how do you make it purge? just turn te asa valve on and off? can you post a better video on how you make it work like what your pressing
@BustedConcept622 I mean, it's pretty simple: twist the ASA (on/off valve), on and off as you please, and there you have fake purge. Read the description and let me know if you have any further questions.
@ltawata to be honest, im not sure what you mean by 'terminal'. i'm using a standard CP (custom products) ASA - on/off valve of which it's primary use is my paintball gun...hope that helps
@nsrailfann4life91 You understand the difference between 'whp' and just 'hp' (hp = bhp) -- whp, or wheel horse power is the power from the wheels to the pavement, which is ALWAYS less than the listed horsepower (bhp, or block horsepower). The difference comes in through the concept of lost horsepower from the engine, crank, all the way to the wheels. Look it up: for a 2000-2002 LS cavalier 2.2L is 115hp. LS SPORT is 140hp/bhp and Z24 2.4L is 150 hp/bhp. WHP is *roughly* 85% of BHP
@burdedacid don't think you caught my sarcasm the whole thing is a fuckin joke man. chill. everyone's takin this shit a little too personal & way too seriously. i don't "go too fast" and i follow the majority of my state's traffic laws (no one is PERFECT). this was a fun little project that i really only think about when some asshole freaks out on the comments section on youtube. it's no longer installed in my car for multiple reasons but i don't feel the need to justify that to any of yall.
On pinks Full Race installed a fake nos kit, and they were given lenghts if they didn't use the NOS so really its all personal prefrence, people are just haters
im sure there is a way but in my opinion it's not worth it. there's a certain point when you should just go legit. the only major upgrade to my setup (without going allout crazy on purchases) would be hook up a regulator (from a paintball gun)...then you need at least the trigger to activate it which you could easily manage to convert to a button. the hard part will be transforming the regulator to let out more than a short burst of air every time...
@dpowersblink182 Yes, I know that lol. Glad to see someone is paying attention. Im not like these haters that drive single cams and know nothing lol. My information came straight from a dyno which ran 3 times consistently. My cavalier which is the LS Sport model, lit up with 129 whp (140 bhp) bone stock. You also have to consider how good the driver is. Catching gears is gettin peak power. I had my friend driving on the dyno and he hit every gear perfectly at peak power and peak torque.
@dpowersblink182 hey the part im talking about is located on your ASA on/off valve aka the part where your refrigerator hose is connected to so the co2 can flow through the hose thanks bro
first off, it's a cavalier. let's keep that in mind. second, aem cai and cleaned up engine like new - inside and out. third, have you heard of suspension? there's more to cars than 'engines.' It's a work in progress, but esp considering I don't plan on doin' much else to this (I'm waitin' 'til I get my subaru), there's not a whole lot to do with this car. I got front and rear strut tower braces, and sways on the way. If you're all about "fast," get a car that doesn't need nitrous (N20)???
@07reby I DONT PUSH ON ANYTHING. i **TWIST** the 'paintball piece' - the on/off valve (paintball piece) is turned on and off by twisting the top cone shaped part.
if you kw how to rig that then you're set but if not, i'd say stick w/an on/off valve that has a small knob to turn. if you really want you could look into a "remote coil hose". it was too much of hassle for me but if you are patient & keep your reciepts u can definately find one that'll work
@19ChevyChevelleSS70 the 'switch' you're asking about is actually a twist knob. im sure there is, but in my opinion it is not worth the trouble; you'd be better off just workin extra shifts & savin for the real thing.
@greddyhks20 congrats idot for stating the obvious. i admitted that in the video...I CAN WRITE IN ALL CAPS TOO!!!!! seriously though, i dont take cars that seriously, and in doing this as a joke, i don't really consider myself a complete rice patty, just like a grain of rice...good day sir
@Lukeentertainment All the above my friend. You are obviously all knowing and I dare not pass up such an opportunity to expand my knowledge and gain such incredible wisdom. I just hope you don't think I'm serious with my cavalier. Although that would explain such close-mindedness and need to express my being inferior.
@a386surfer well usually it only works for me around 20 min (give or take 5) after i take it out of the freezer. once it warms up it's basically invisible, as yours is. maybe keep it in a cooler of dry ice...idk if that'll work; just thought of it. if you're keeping it cold and it still doesnt work, i dont know what to tell you, except maybe it's where you live th. it works just fine here in texas
also, you assume I want to make it fast - in my opinion, saving for ANYTHING else is much much more fiscally responsible than getting anything more than intake (or exhaust). Turbo is where you get some of the best hp for your $ and I'm not about to add that stress and all the variables that come with it, especially on my daily driver. Intake and exhaust are primarily for sound, because you can't do anything with more air or less backpressure without the proper parts in between to handle it.
i tried using a remote coil hose but it ended up not workin out; could have been that speific one was defective, but anyways it's just more money you have to spend. also keep in mind, the less parts used, the less variables to have something go wrong. now that im done writing my essay, i hope this helped you & let me know if you have any more questions.
@Rookie5oh LED's have been gone for more than a year and the nos was indeed a joke. As for HID's, those were not HID's. I have some now and they increase visibility like no other. I like seeing shit at night whilst driving but maybe I'm just weird like that. Btw AEM cai isn't stock but whatever, I'm sure you know my car better than me.
strait line bust-yo-azz type racing. No turns=no crash. And when you run, you make sure your not just trying to be #1 no matter where you are. Have the time and room to "play" like a real racer. And when theres not a piggly wiggly in sight, your just sitting at the light getting beeped at. What will you do?
@RobertRheal haha i got rid of the steering wheel cover but that's still pretty funny ( trying to de-rice my ride) ...ya, i don't currently have this CO2 shit up and running; just too much of a hassle. definately hook me up with some music like that - attack attack does alternative for the most part, so anything like the little bit of techno they do would be sick. honestly i love that whole CD, i just wish they would come out with something new!!!!
ok that's straight. but if you go legit on everything then i'd have to say get a real NOS kit...that'd be "done right" (and less ricey) - of course that'll cost a shit ton. still, start lookin at real purge kits; if you get a good enough understanding you should be able to either ghetto rig part of a real kit to Co2 or just borrow the idea of how each mechanism works & figure something out. just came up w/that actually
o ATTN: Everyone If I was serious, I would've made a compilation video with a go pro or something. I would have led you to believe it is badass (or that I thought it was) with some grunge/metal song. None of this is true - it was done to screw around, but the majority of y'all are too ignorant and/or too self-centered to view this from a different perspective. If I felt bad, I'd take it down. I don't, so I won't; it's just a slight annoyance. Thanks for listening.

@brankovergara Let me tell you somethin, bro. I have a Cavalier LS Sport. If you want some, you better have more than a little single cam. They call my Cavalier the "Crazy Cavi" for a reason. I will leave it to you to find out. Meet me at the Car Wash beside the Wal Mart in Culpeper, VA. My Cavi is Sunfire red with a black front lip, and smoked tails. Come get it. Deuces Race Crew for life! You really dont want none of the Deuces' Leader's RSX lol. Line em up, bro.

You could spray paint a fire extinguisher blue, hook hoses to it, and print labels
ill definitely do this after the underbody lights and tribal graphics.
Im gonna try this on my bike
@dethkatt Thank you and I would like you to know that I highly value your opinion.
(it DOES say 'fake' in the title, but I'm not about to make fun of the handicapped)
How do you spray it? Is there a button or do you have to twist the on/off on the adpater?
so you don't need nos with this. but can you get an electrical switch adapter for the co2 canister instead of that on/off valve?
This video is a Time Machine. The music is fucking incredible. Need some basshunter.
Those are some bangin tunes man

Hey I would love to do that to my Harley it will look cool ? What u think I should do it with?
You think it will be OK to use on a harley ? The heat of summer won't bottle explode?
Chi-Town your asking him
message me back but isn't their a way to use the paintball gun trigger or a flip on/off switch instead of the adapter
no demo!?
Hey bro can you please tell me what kind of terminal you are using on your on/off ASA valve. by the way nice tutorial!
whoa whoa, what type of gun is that???

I'm using this setup soon for my intercooler to spray cO2 on my big front mount except bit different how you set it up

Try a paintball specialty shop (maybe military surplus), or on the interwebs.

It refills

@666killmachine666 your comment says it all...but about you, not me. take a second look and you might understand.
incredibly clever - props
Lmao he spent about the same amount of money in fake parts that what he could've spent buying a real nitrous kit
- fail 💀
Hi!
What's the group/name of the song playing on your stereo?
joke or no joke, why fake it? running a 'NOS" system isn't very complicated at all, nor is it all that expensive.
A little more dangerous and legal issues
if your showing off the car, would rather spray fake nos instead of using my real tank. not till i actually need it
