I first got the idea for my lawnmower, and can I say one more time, I was never serious about any of this. It's funny the way people jump to critique... w/e
Supplies
------------
1.) a co2 canister
2.) paintball gun adapter: ASA // on/off valves work best, but any adapter can do the trick
3.) macro hose line (i used 1/4" refrigerator hose i found @ home depot: $10 for 25' -- 25' should be enough for 3 or 4 different lines) i would recommend sturdy hose line that needs wire cutters or something to cut - co2 is freezing so if you use something like flimsy aquarium tubes, i imagine it would freeze em
4.) tie wraps
How To
----------
1.) find a place where your co2 can can rest w/out being a safety hazard - mine's between my seat/floor/door
2.) hose line: dont cut yet - just start by using the whole line & feed it through wherever it's gonna go before you cut (remember you can always cut more off, but if it's too short you gotta redo the whole thing)
mine goes from the adapter, to the trim on the floor next to the door, up the trim around my feet (by the hood popper), under trim & water seal so that the door doesnt close on it, through the top where the hood meets the door, then under the hood wherever it fits (w/out being melted) & out to the _________ (wherever you want)
3.) i used tie wraps to secure the hose line to various lines already there.

You could spray paint a fire extinguisher blue, hook hoses to it, and print labels
ill definitely do this after the underbody lights and tribal graphics.
Those are some bangin tunes man
@BustedConcept622 I mean, it's pretty simple: twist the ASA (on/off valve), on and off as you please, and there you have fake purge. Read the description and let me know if you have any further questions.
so you don't need nos with this. but can you get an electrical switch adapter for the co2 canister instead of that on/off valve?
Im gonna try this on my bike
@dethkatt Thank you and I would like you to know that I highly value your opinion.
(it DOES say 'fake' in the title, but I'm not about to make fun of the handicapped)
incredibly clever - props
Hey nwhere do i get the valve on the tank or can i do it another way?
I'm using this setup soon for my intercooler to spray cO2 on my big front mount except bit different how you set it up
i think this was a great idea and im forsure going to try it, but how do you make it purge? just turn te asa valve on and off? can you post a better video on how you make it work like what your pressing
Hey I would love to do that to my Harley it will look cool ? What u think I should do it with?
How do you spray it? Is there a button or do you have to twist the on/off on the adpater?
question so all i do is just rotate the cap with my hands right ?
i would like to buy one
i tried using a remote coil hose but it ended up not workin out; could have been that speific one was defective, but anyways it's just more money you have to spend. also keep in mind, the less parts used, the less variables to have something go wrong. now that im done writing my essay, i hope this helped you & let me know if you have any more questions.
@Lukeentertainment All the above my friend. You are obviously all knowing and I dare not pass up such an opportunity to expand my knowledge and gain such incredible wisdom.
I just hope you don't think I'm serious with my cavalier. Although that would explain such close-mindedness and need to express my being inferior.
question so all i do is just rotate the cap with my hands right ?
@ltawata to be honest, im not sure what you mean by 'terminal'. i'm using a standard CP (custom products) ASA - on/off valve of which it's primary use is my paintball gun...hope that helps
AND RAKE LOVES IT!
hey where can i get that pieace u had on the CO2 bottle can i use something esle for that or does it have to be that in order to fit the bottle?
Do u have a video of it working?
@a386surfer
well usually it only works for me around 20 min (give or take 5) after i take it out of the freezer. once it warms up it's basically invisible, as yours is. maybe keep it in a cooler of dry ice...idk if that'll work; just thought of it.
if you're keeping it cold and it still doesnt work, i dont know what to tell you, except maybe it's where you live th. it works just fine here in texas
@018e4 glad you like it! - make sure you check out the description cuz theres a couple tricks that'll make it a helluva lot easier. thanks man, take it easy and good luck
Hey bro can you please tell me what kind of terminal you are using on your on/off ASA valve. by the way nice tutorial!
@dpowersblink182
hey the part im talking about is located on your ASA on/off valve aka the part where your refrigerator hose is connected to so the co2 can flow through the hose
thanks bro
if you kw how to rig that then you're set but if not, i'd say stick w/an on/off valve that has a small knob to turn. if you really want you could look into a "remote coil hose". it was too much of hassle for me but if you are patient & keep your reciepts u can definately find one that'll work
message me back but isn't their a way to use the paintball gun trigger or a flip on/off switch instead of the adapter
.....Why?
@badmandagga I'm sure there's a way; but you would have to use a regulator as well, not to mention modifying the regulator if you want anything besides the burst of Co2/nitro it's made to produce
where can i get the asa on/off valve?
Where did you get the valve bro
where do you get the on off valve?
UPDATE; ebc slotted rotors, ebc green stuff pads, eibach front & rear sway, reverted back to halogen (no more hid), and a gm convertible cavy front strut tower brace next on the list.
Hi!
What's the group/name of the song playing on your stereo?
This video is a Time Machine. The music is fucking incredible. Need some basshunter.
wait a min, was that energy 52 - cafe del mar (deadmau5 remix) i herd at the end!
@19ChevyChevelleSS70 the 'switch' you're asking about is actually a twist knob. im sure there is, but in my opinion it is not worth the trouble; you'd be better off just workin extra shifts & savin for the real thing.
I took those audi lights off two years ago; it was a phase...check out the links to up-to-date photos in description
Try a paintball specialty shop (maybe military surplus), or on the interwebs.
@07reby
I DONT PUSH ON ANYTHING. i **TWIST** the 'paintball piece' - the on/off valve (paintball piece) is turned on and off by twisting the top cone shaped part.
@HONDACOMPAQ nah, I'm actually pretty happy with the way my CAI sounds now...
@nsrailfann4life91
You understand the difference between 'whp' and just 'hp' (hp = bhp) -- whp, or wheel horse power is the power from the wheels to the pavement, which is ALWAYS less than the listed horsepower (bhp, or block horsepower). The difference comes in through the concept of lost horsepower from the engine, crank, all the way to the wheels. Look it up: for a 2000-2002 LS cavalier 2.2L is 115hp. LS SPORT is 140hp/bhp and Z24 2.4L is 150 hp/bhp. WHP is *roughly* 85% of BHP
@dpowersblink182 Yes, I know that lol. Glad to see someone is paying attention. Im not like these haters that drive single cams and know nothing lol. My information came straight from a dyno which ran 3 times consistently. My cavalier which is the LS Sport model, lit up with 129 whp (140 bhp) bone stock. You also have to consider how good the driver is. Catching gears is gettin peak power. I had my friend driving on the dyno and he hit every gear perfectly at peak power and peak torque.
You think it will be OK to use on a harley ? The heat of summer won't bottle explode?
Chi-Town your asking him
no demo!?
Crazy this was ELEVEN years ago
i like ur headlights
@andrew0901280
? no; what you mean by jet?
It's much less of a 'joke' if I buy and install a legit NOS system. It was a weekend project I documented simply for the sake of documentation. All things considered for my personal situation, it would be a poor investment; no disrespect to those who run (real) NOS.
the music fits the vid
What the name of the musik?
Where is this car today?
@Lukeentertainment I highly value opinion. Please tell me more :-)
@RobertRheal
haha i got rid of the steering wheel cover but that's still pretty funny ( trying to de-rice my ride) ...ya, i don't currently have this CO2 shit up and running; just too much of a hassle. definately hook me up with some music like that - attack attack does alternative for the most part, so anything like the little bit of techno they do would be sick. honestly i love that whole CD, i just wish they would come out with something new!!!!
Omg i love the musik
@JayAquarius88
i for one understand the differences in the (false) advertised increase in horsepower and the minimal real life gain. cars that are not designed to go fast, will not go fast, unless you're goin legit with an engine swap...that's a bit different
Where at in Texas?
How did you get it to have power? You wire to fuse box or battery, or is it pressure fed?
Its pressure fed
can you refill the canister or have to keep buying new ones and doe sit have to be a co2 canister thxs
It refills
@dpowersblink182 you know i liked the video i have nos on my car and it cost me over 800 bucks and i wanted a purge kit and thats another 300 bucks so if you don't mind i would like to steal your idea because imo it's a good idea thanks for the vid man
how do you make 2 lines come out of 1 tank?????
Angel Lopez T peace lol
Attack attack in the background hahaha
How can I do it without the open and close valve
With a solenoid.
@brankovergara
I stand by my previous statement.
@DanJeffery07 "Interlude" ATTACK ATTACK's CD: Someday Came Suddenly
why is nos illegal in some places? why is neon lights under cars and different color headlights illegal?
YEAHHHH 2200 series! woohoo lol
@illthug98
haha thanks for the support bro
@trickedyfz450 A custom Smart Parts Ion - nothing on it is stock. I have a video of it on my channel - it's not a great video but I list all the mods in the description, if you're interested.
should hide the bottle in the trunk and hook a small air manifold to it then it will work with the push of a button. look a biit cleaner that way
Wow how much horse power u get with that
@MrDoodlydoo just updated description for ya; "interlude".
haha interlude i love this song
@mikelamid Wait i was wrong N20 is also Nos. So yeah it is laughing gas.
@FlatBrokeRacingMI yep
@TheMishKg thanks man...but you'll shit your pants when you see it now; I've made a lot of changes (for the better) in a year. I'll post a new video once I find my fckuing camera
@FlatBrokeRacingMI see, this kid knows whatsup
whoa whoa, what type of gun is that???
On pinks Full Race installed a fake nos kit, and they were given lenghts if they didn't use the NOS so really its all personal prefrence, people are just haters
@senecalife180 lol basically the soundtrack to my senior year of high school
Does this make a difference in speed at all
Outdoors Adventure yes it gos so much faster with a fake purge kit
attack attack interlude!!!
@666killmachine666 your comment says it all...but about you, not me. take a second look and you might understand.
@Rookie5oh LED's have been gone for more than a year and the nos was indeed a joke. As for HID's, those were not HID's. I have some now and they increase visibility like no other. I like seeing shit at night whilst driving but maybe I'm just weird like that. Btw AEM cai isn't stock but whatever, I'm sure you know my car better than me.
@burdedacid don't think you caught my sarcasm
the whole thing is a fuckin joke man. chill. everyone's takin this shit a little too personal & way too seriously. i don't "go too fast" and i follow the majority of my state's traffic laws (no one is PERFECT). this was a fun little project that i really only think about when some asshole freaks out on the comments section on youtube. it's no longer installed in my car for multiple reasons but i don't feel the need to justify that to any of yall.
@burdedacid oops...that would be my bad. got you mixed up with Mr. Aquarius. ya , well in that case, right on. good luck!
o ATTN: Everyone
If I was serious, I would've made a compilation video with a go pro or something. I would have led you to believe it is badass (or that I thought it was) with some grunge/metal song. None of this is true - it was done to screw around, but the majority of y'all are too ignorant and/or too self-centered to view this from a different perspective. If I felt bad, I'd take it down. I don't, so I won't; it's just a slight annoyance. Thanks for listening.
@JayAquarius88
by the way, that "basic performance" you're talkin about...ya, well you just keep on thinkin that blowin your money on those crazy aftermarket headers, intake, exhaust, etc. are worth it: you may wana talk to someone who knows anything about cars and how they are engineered.
hahaha what song?? :D
That wasnt a AUDI!!!???
@hotkarl92 duly noted
@greddyhks20 congrats idot for stating the obvious. i admitted that in the video...I CAN WRITE IN ALL CAPS TOO!!!!! seriously though, i dont take cars that seriously, and in doing this as a joke, i don't really consider myself a complete rice patty, just like a grain of rice...good day sir
of course, they just came out with a CD last week!; eating my words from 5 miutes ago
first off, it's a cavalier. let's keep that in mind. second, aem cai and cleaned up engine like new - inside and out. third, have you heard of suspension? there's more to cars than 'engines.' It's a work in progress, but esp considering I don't plan on doin' much else to this (I'm waitin' 'til I get my subaru), there's not a whole lot to do with this car. I got front and rear strut tower braces, and sways on the way. If you're all about "fast," get a car that doesn't need nitrous (N20)???
@dhruvilshah30 correct.
google, amazon, ebay, whatever: "paintball asa on off valve"
and you should be good to go
im sure there is a way but in my opinion it's not worth it. there's a certain point when you should just go legit. the only major upgrade to my setup (without going allout crazy on purchases) would be hook up a regulator (from a paintball gun)...then you need at least the trigger to activate it which you could easily manage to convert to a button. the hard part will be transforming the regulator to let out more than a short burst of air every time...
@dpowersblink182 hell ya!!! shits getting real when that comes on
@para5261 Oh you know it boss. Just like you seem to know everything. Like how this was last year, and it was a joke of a project, done first on my lawnmower and then my car. But I'm sure you knew that too.
@mimike80 and for the record the car in this video is definitely a chevy.
Alternative use for this: combating tailgaters
also, you assume I want to make it fast - in my opinion, saving for ANYTHING else is much much more fiscally responsible than getting anything more than intake (or exhaust). Turbo is where you get some of the best hp for your $ and I'm not about to add that stress and all the variables that come with it, especially on my daily driver. Intake and exhaust are primarily for sound, because you can't do anything with more air or less backpressure without the proper parts in between to handle it.
