I like that this guy is entirely willing to use his rig as it’s meant to be used. Not afraid of a little pin-striping. The best off-roaders are the ones you actually take off-road.
Amazing what money can do! Beautiful build. No longer a Tundra fan. I love my ‘07 but Toyota wrecked it with the new model. Sadly going back to a domestic truck, F350 Tremor will be good, when it comes(?).
Definitely a capable Tundra rig. Our 4Runner is set up for Overlanding. Having a hitch mounted winch that can mount front or rear has helped us many times. We've used a strap or kinetic rope in our vehicles for years. Even pulled a cop car out of a ditch in a snow storm...
Nice to see a fellow Banadian on TFL. Very nice Tundra. As for the JEEP being stuck, when any four wheel drive is stuck, you need another 4 wheel drive to rescue.
Nice Tundra! That's the kind of guy you want on your wheeling adventures. Looks like it's time to get David down there with the backhoe and a bucket full of big rocks to dump in those ruts.
Sweet Tundra build! Proper host and team for this content here! IF Roman gets annoyed by the recovery rig being filthy, time for a reality check on what it is meant for. lol. Being high centered is going to end any rig. So no need to feel defeated. IF push came to shove, that hi-lift an anchor and some straps would have managed the job. But that is a last ditch effort. (unless you are wheeling alone)
Even though it was a simple recovery, it's always good practice to place a towel, bag, or something of that nature over the winch cable to prevent it from sling-shooting back if the cable/rope were to break.
Nice to see a Canadian pickup truck driver show these American Jeep owners how it's done! Also a good demonstration of how solid front axles are not always best off-road.
Awe so cool that’s our hitch cover!!! So cool you found it! It’s our customers Bronco Raptor that we sold price protection AND at MSRP!!!! Love your channel!
Looks like the Jeep needed to air down some more. There are times that the lockers will not engage without rolling forward or back, so engaging them after getting stuck is to late.
my co worker bought almost the same truck and i believe he said his was 6000 lbs and i think this one is close to 7500 lbs with all the add or even more
You guys need to dig out the mud pit and put in a galvanized pipe to allow the water to pass then you need to put in a concrete pad over the pipe. Then back fill with about a foot of dirt. This would stop the marshy pit. But still allow the water to pass through naturally.
Very nice truck! When you build out a vehicle like that, Would it be good to know the trucks' front & rear axle weights. I wonder how close he is to the gross vehicle weight rating?

What a beast. Gotta ask though, why is the rooftop tent mounted towards the back and sticking out?
There are 2 roam cases on top normally , I unloaded them they were at the campspot with my wife and kids
I have never used my crawl control or MTS on my Tacoma just the locker it’s just a beast by itself but I’m sure they work pretty good!
It works in tandem with the locker to mimic a limited slip front

If you get a few shovels, a few dudes, take a bunch of shovelfulls of the surrounding grass and pile up in those ruts, let dry a bit, should be better

I bet TFL running the jeep at street pressures again. Those Mickey Thompsons should be at no more than 14 psi when off road. Even without beadlocks.
Kase yay goat mode activated
Roman would be disappointed! Remember he’s basically said to use your equipment before you need it. Not when you need it
What bumper is that? 😂
Per WebMD, if you have black turds (“BLCK TRD”) then you should seek medical assistance very soon since it could signal internal bleeding.
Oh wow, now that you've mentioned that, It is impossible to not think it. Ouch..
Not a smartass know-it-all, real question here: Why do y’all always wait til you’re stuck to lock the axles? You all know how that bog is.
show the jeeps how its done, lol why didn't he go through there
If that beast got stuck, I'm not sure there is a tree or vehicle strong enough there to connect his winch.
"I don't care" is something I do not want to hear from someone who borrows my gear.....
And when you do maintenance bring a chainsaw and trim some of the trees. There's no need to scratch people's rigs....
Oh there is sooo much overgrown up here we do trim but most times its tight and theres trees😂😂
