I like that this guy is entirely willing to use his rig as it’s meant to be used. Not afraid of a little pin-striping. The best off-roaders are the ones you actually take off-road.

You guys need to dig out the mud pit and put in a galvanized pipe to allow the water to pass then you need to put in a concrete pad over the pipe. Then back fill with about a foot of dirt. This would stop the marshy pit. But still allow the water to pass through naturally.

I have a 4Runner and an AWD Carolla SUV, so I'm not a stranger to off-roading. But my neighbor's son has a tricked-out Jeep Rubicon, and he goes mudding every weekend. That became a problem for the neighborhood. He would leave Red Mud Clay throughout the neighborhood. And when he washed his Jeep in their driveway on Sundays, the street looked like a construction site with muddy water running into the street. Let's just say, several homeowners had words with the father about this behavior. And no, we do not have a HOA.
