A true masterwork of someone who obviously is in the know and has the dedication to go for the very best / lightest. Things I like about the bike:
1. It's titanium.
2. the Darimo / Schmolke stuff. I can't justify it though, as I first have to lose a couple of kilo's.
3. the St. Joris company. I didn't know them before and having a look at their website, I really like their frame design as well (mixing traditional details like the seatpost clamp with new).
4. the groupset, obviously.
5. the wheels.
6. the tires.
What I don't like / would change / doesn't feel 100%:
1. the toptube of the Spezia is unfortunately way too wide. My knees would touch the toptube all the time. It's a bit too much business in the front / business in the back (and no party), also with those bulky rear seat stays...
2. I would rather go for enve or something similar (light but still a bit more sturdy) than Darimo / Schmolke. It just looks a bit too fragile, but who knows it's actually holding very well...Also, while I really like titanium as a frame material, I wonder about the philosophy of building a bike with a frame that's 3-400 grams heavier than a top carbon frame, and spec'ing it out with very expensive lightweight exotic parts. I feel like the potential benefits of the titanium frame are vs. the weight gains, and the potential benefits from the weight savings of the parts, are a bit unbalanced.
3. Last, a question: how well does the 30mm corsas fit on the Hyperons? I'm in the proces of buying Campa wheels, I can't justify Hyperons but they are the ones with the wides inner rim width (21mm) while WTO are at 19mm... A new (wider) WTO design is coming, but maybe a bit too late.
Protect yourself from carbon dust! I only cut carbon forks outside or with a mask, and moisten the sawing area a bit in order not to get dust in the air.
Beautiful bike. You an excellent taste for the components... oh and a deep pocket too! :)
Dream built, no doubt! 🙌🏾❤️
My personal preference, Shimano - all of them. Love Campy and SRAM, still Shimano… ❤✌🏾
Gorgeous! Tennessee meets Italy 🇮🇹. Most top end carbon bikes are heavier than this. However, this too is a pricy build.
The stem alone is 600 Euros and about as stiff as a cooked noodle. A nice Deda Superleggero stem would add negligible 20 grams, cost 500 Euros less and add a boatload of necessary stiffness and controllability.
11:34 video and we get 2 picoseconds to see the finished bike!
Check out my Instagram page! There you will see many photos

hope to see an FI build of the spezia now that the fully integrated version is launched
I know that Litespeed has the Toscano, but could you use the Spezia as a gravel bike as well. Since it has clearance for 35mm.
Crazy light...very nice build
Thanks 👍
All the Logos in different fonts is just horrible. Why would you have logos literally everywhere ( headtube, downtube, top tube, seat collar, seatpost ) and then each of them has a different font? Horrible
I don't understand....
LITESPEED is a titanium bikes specialist, but for some reason they don't make their bikes with the genuine conical headtube! The frame would look soo much better, with one..
You are weighing insignificant stuff, but you are building a bike, with the disc brakes! Significantly heavier than the caliper brakes, and wheels...😅
Just saying...
Nice bike 😊
Greetings from Croatia 😎
with Italian quality emerging beauty monument, good luck with your work.🙂
killed the fork....
Nice use of your torque wrench NOT😕
Este metal me atrae y no soy capaz de razonar el motivo
Absolutely beautiful. I will sell my car and order one right away. All the wires make me nervous though. Damage one and the bike no work.
@@jimmyz5831 thanks, In the meantime I have switched to the new wireless 😀
Beautiful !I love Titanium !!!
Je veux le même,,j'ai déjà un t3
Beautiful build. ❤
That stem is ugly
❤❤❤ build ❤❤❤
I ordered a Spezia FI frame set 2 weeks ago. Size XS. Hope to hear about your riding experience with this SPEZIA FI super light bike.
This bike was really easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
Looks beautiful except for the hideous stem, that’s as aerodynamic as a brick!
Least safe steerer tube compression bung I've seen since the 2010 meridas
I often wonder what is the cycling world's obsession with weight..I mean on any given day the human body carries + or - 5lbs of weight, food, water and waste, does it make sense skimming of 2 or 3 lbs off your bike? I understand if your in a sprint as a professional, but not for the average person not doing it professionally. not trying to be cynical..I love seeing these videos and like seeing how light they can go...but am I wrong
You are not wrong. As long as you are not fighting against the time you don’t need the reduction. More weight more power😅
Quick question. You put crown race on the fork. All my carbon bikes don’t have it, is this necessary?
Love this amazing skilled work.
No tourqe wrench for this cowboy on that lightweight stem
No DISCS No Electric shit.
Beautiful bet it cost a fortune though.
Wow.
Nice....!😊
awesome bike!
gorgeous bike!
AMAZING 👍💪💪💪🚴♂️💨
Very nice sir
I want it 😁
What a beauty 😍
Nice!

Any reason for posting this three times?
@@einundsiebenziger5488 WTF happened here?! Dont know how that happened.
PURE ART.
🚲
So how much did it weigh? 😂 🇺🇲
7.18 kg
What size is the bike?
Size M
What bar tape is this?
It’s the Most (Pinarello) Superlight bar tape
too heavy!
@@robbiddlecombe8392 I think he meant himself, that he is too heavy for this bike... ;-)
Love the Bike, Love the Build. Not a fan of internal routing of anything. Simply too time consuming to service. The juice just isn't worth the squeeze.
Eehhhhh, I think differently, no hard feelings thoug
Reilly Fusion is a much better deal! the want an extra 1200 bucks just for the cable intergration, 5k price not including the fork, ........ truly laughable. Sorry fan boys but the truth is the truth.
Why to bike builders put parts on scales? Does this make them lighter? Also, if so concerned about weight, why install a redundant chain ring and twice as many derailleurs as required?😊. Beautiful bike.
😂 to prove the total weight
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍 🚀
How much is it?
Guess $ 11,000
