you can check out Rivers Alone series of albums, the deluxe weezer albums (ofc), matt sharps band (The Rentals), Scott and Rivers (Rivers side project), Songs from the black hole (unfinished album that turned into pinkerton) and then you have to listen to the blue album again and get stuck in the endless weezer cycle!!
If you want some more stuff from the 90s to 2000s rock then I'd recommend stuff from Ozma, Jimmy Eat World, and maybe Tiger's Jaw. Ozma is very much weezer coded in the fact that they make nerdy sounding rock music. For them I'd highly recommend their album "Rock and Roll Part 3". Jimmy Eat World is more leaning into the emo side, but still has the pop elements. I'd highly recommend their album "Clarity" and for some of their big hits (plus it's also just a great album "Bleed American". Tiger's Jaw is more of a recommendation if you end up listening to Jimmy Eat World and liking them. Then I'd recommend their self titled album "Tiger's Jaw"
I know the bands aren't super related but you should defo check out the smiths, ig you could consider them related because of the 'virgin core' label they get on tiktok/social media these days. Their first album is one of the best debuts in indie rock / post punk.
you should do more radiohead, maybe a moon shaped pool? and btw if you weren’t already planning on it, you should listen to the 2 rivers cuomo alone albums. i just really want you to listen to can’t stop partying acoustic lmao
YES RADIOHEAD PLS, though I think you should go chronologically starting with The Bends, and I know you said you didn’t want a new series but I think you’ll really like it, you do what you want though
@@Ausvwidabix2blorangeI was editing my original reply as you replied, I hadn’t gotten to the part of the video where he says no discography’s before I commented 😅
@@Ausvwidabix2blorange I do plan to get to rivers’ alone albums. Don’t know if I’ll do all but a lot of people seem to suggest the first two. I’ve already listened to ok computer and the bends, so I don’t plan to relisten to them for a video anytime soon lol. I have not listened to Kid A (surprisingly) or a moon shaped pool yet so I wouldn’t mind making videos on those.
@@Chazzs at least with weezer there’s so much that can happen from album to album it doesn’t really get boring lol. But yeah I kinda wanna stay away from diving into one artist for a bit
holy clickbait
Hi! Hi! Hi garoot! Could you listen to Casette by Preoccupations? Hi!
