Diamond jubilee (Cindy Lee) is my AOTY. I love every minute of that 2 hour album. On the topic of “Wanda,” if you want to add to the ever-growing list of weezer-related media, I’d recommend looking into Rivers’s side project band Homie, which was formed directly after Pinkerton flopped commercially around 1997. It’s the closest thing to “country” music that Rivers has ever done. The band only ever officially released one song (“American Girls”), but there are some bootleg live recordings and there’s a really great fan-made album called Homie Vol. 1 on RUclips that has several covers of Homie songs that the group had previously performed live.
